Era una buona esperienza. Non aveva problemi notevoli con il servizio, e la stanza era pulita. Io sono andato a Nantes per l'après-miglioramento e le letti e gli asciugamani erano stati cambiati. La posizione non è la migliore, ma non è orribile. C'è una barca che si può attraversare il fiume al centro della città di Nantes e costa solo € 1.70 e prende solo più di 5 minuti a piedi, con il biglietto valido per altri trasporti pubblici nella città.

Questo hotel si trova al centro della città un punto di riferimento per visitare per bene il territorio. Ha una hall piccolissima ma all'interno c'è anche un salotto living dove è possibile consumare gratuitamente qualche biscotto, acqua e succhi inoltre dalle 18 alle 20 sempre si può richiedere un piatto (gratuito) che chiamano x aperitivo (salumi/formaggi) da abitare a succhi a disposizione degli ospiti (arancia, ananas, pomodoro) o ad altro di cui c'è un menu e si paga a parte. Per la filosofia dell'hotel non ci sono bottigline di acqua quindi in camera ci sono bicchieri di vetro e l'acqua si prende dal rubinetto. L'hotel è pulito, le stanze sono piccole, per entrare nel bagno passi attraverso la doccia ma, per brevi soggiorni va benissimo.

This hotel has parking and is centrally placed for the cathedral and market. Our room was basic and sparsely furnished, but the beds were extremely comfortable with great bedding. The room does need a mirror in the room itself, one in the bathroom is not enough. It also needs another, chair, another bedside table and something to stop the beds sliding away from the head board when you sit up in bed and lean against it. Breakfast was delicious if again, fairly sparse. The hotel was very happy to lend us a kettle so we could make drinks in our room. The floor is very cold, so bring slippers. The bathroom is a wet room but the radiator on the bathroom wasn’t working so there was no way to dry the towels, or the floor. Not too good.

My wife, Sarah, & I stayed here for 7 nights in September in order to visit family, the city of Nantes and the surrounding area. This lovely family run hotel, with a 24-hour reception and a guest sitting-room, is ideally situated in the city centre, near to a tram stop and all major attractions. Our en-suite bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. Every one of the staff was delightful, very friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us much useful information about the city, over and above what one might reasonably expect. The breakfast was superb and had many locally sourced options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this hotel. NB We had booked direct by phone and the receptionist was immediately very helpful and spoke excellent English.

Advert/website deceptive. This NOT the quiet hotel surrounded in quiet grounds expected. It is situated between two very busy roads into Laval - the leafy/ivy fronted picture is deceptive. We arrived at 5pm ( it was dark) and the hotel entrance was not illuminated (so it seemed closed). Upon entry we were hit by a strong, most unpleasant sewage ( yes sewage !) smell. No lift and our room was on the first floor, no help with cases and awkward split level with WC up two steps off the bedroom and shower/ washroom up one step. The shower was OK but (as with most hotels) no grab/handrails for older doddery people and useless soap/shower gel dispenser. The sink cubicle had no towel rails nor enough space to put out toilet bags etc. The bed was a small double - but good lighting. The only positive feature of our stay was the restaurant and food which was EXCELLENT. VV good quality food, service and staff - nearly Michelin standards and extremely good value. We had €22 menu - starter, main course and dessert plus G&T, glass red wine and coffee - total cost €62 - v v good value. Breakfast good too. Stay again ? No definitely NOT. Overall mid 3* establishment minus 2* for sewage smell (=1*). NOT recommended; except worth a visit for the excellent restaurant. Pity !

Deuxième visite dans ce restaurant, très bien situé avec un parking privatif à la porte. La maison est très bien tenue, tout est décoré avec simplicité mais avec beaucoup de goût. Pour la Saint Valentin, nous avons choisi des menus différents et tout était parfait entre la présentation des produits et la qualité des mets. C'est très bon et surtout ce qui doit être chaud l'est! On peut prendre son temps pour appréciern les produits de qualité de la cuisine sûrement un chef qui maîtrise les techniques du métier. Un service attentionné et souriant. La prochaine visite est déjà prévue même si nous faisons 50 km pour venir. A recommander sans hésitations. Rapport qualité prix excellent.
