Yunnan, Cina: hotel pet friendly

Great location! very close to the metro and railway station. we arrived very late in kunming, the staff kindly waited for us, which we really appreciated. the room was clean and had all basic aminities. overall, fine for short stay.

La cosa migliore di Yundu è il cane che ti accoglie all'ingresso. È una palla di nuvola piena di energia e giocosità. We stayed for one night at the Garden Panorama Suite with Soaking Tub at Dali Yunying Chunxiao Shuiyuan Scenic Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel, and while there are some things worth improving, the views and overall atmosphere were truly memorable. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the view of Erhai Lake. It was absolutely exquisite and looked almost exactly like the photos online. Every corner of the hotel was incredibly photogenic, and the whole place had a very calm, peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. The hotel itself is quite small, with a compact lobby that also serves as the breakfast area, but the incredible lake view more than made up for the limited space. The hotel is located along a cobbled street with no direct car access. The hotel contacted us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, which was appreciated, and their staff met us to collect our luggage and transported it to the hotel by motorbike. However, we initially thought someone would escort or pick us up, but instead we were given a location to follow on foot. The route was a little confusing and we got slightly lost, particularly because the final stretch goes through a very quiet back street that doesn’t really look like it leads to a hotel. It was also raining when we arrived and when we left, so we really appreciated that the hotel lent us umbrellas. The location itself is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, one important point for future guests is that the streets leading back to the hotel are completely dark at night, with no street lights at all. We found this quite scary and felt it could be unsafe, especially for families with young children or anyone returning after dark. Our room had a beautiful view of Erhai Lake, but unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness did not quite match what we expected for the price. There were quite a few dead fish and pieces of rubbish visible around the water when looking over the ledge, both from our room and from the lobby area. The balcony also had a hammock, but it did not look particularly safe to use, and there were plants growing out from the lake and into the hammock area. The room itself was also relatively small for the price, and the cleanliness could have been better. That said, there were some really lovely inclusions with our room, including afternoon tea, a photoshoot, goodnight dessert and breakfast. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but we were given a choice of mains along with some sides and a drink. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything we had was good. The photoshoot was a particularly nice touch and something we really appreciated. Three photos were included with our stay, and we actually enjoyed the experience enough to purchase additional photos beyond the included three. It was a lovely way to capture our time in Dali. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a very cute birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and genuinely made the stay more special❤️ Overall, this hotel has an incredibly beautiful setting and a very unique atmosphere. The views are genuinely stunning and the photography opportunities are fantastic. The thoughtful extras, especially the photoshoot and birthday cake, were also highlights of our stay. However, for the price, we felt the room upkeep, cleanliness and accessibility could be improved, and the completely unlit walk back to the hotel at night is something future guests should be aware of. If the hotel were to improve the maintenance and cleanliness while addressing the nighttime access issue, it could be an exceptional boutique stay because the location and views are truly special.

Ottima posizione vicino a molti servizi! Nessun problema con il Wi-Fi che funzionava benissimo, ho guardato film ogni sera! Ottimo personale, molto cordiale e disponibile, ho soggiornato per alcune settimane e non ho mai avuto problemi! A pochi passi da vari centri commerciali e mercati notturni! Mercato ortofrutticolo e mercato ortofrutticolo nelle immediate vicinanze! Collegamenti di trasporto molto comodi, autobus, taxi metropolitani, noleggio di biciclette/scooter elettrici, ecc...! A circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla fantastica palestra con piscina! Molti ottimi studi dentistici, mi hanno sistemato i denti durante il soggiorno e sono riuscito a installare delle corone! Inoltre, se ho tempo, posso farmi fare degli impianti di buona qualità! Vicinissimo allo zoo di Kunming, ad altri parchi e ai templi!

Un'esperienza da 10 stelle Dal mio arrivo, sono stata accolta calorosamente dalle due sorelle Mo e dai loro adorabili felini, Pirate (il gatto nero) e Sweet Tooth (quello marrone). Tutto di questo soggiorno, dalla posizione e l'arredamento alla pulizia impeccabile e al servizio, merita 10 stelle. Le sorelle Mo sono incredibilmente gentili, loquaci e disponibili, e fanno sì che l'intero alloggio sembri una casa accogliente e ben curata. Alcuni punti salienti: Dettagli premurosi: I letti sono dotati di termofori per le notti più fredde, un tocco davvero apprezzato. Servizi: Ho adorato il tranquillo cortile e la terrazza sul tetto. Servizio: Sono molto attente; ad esempio, se avete bisogno di luci da lettura più potenti, basta chiedere. L'atmosfera: Il giardino è curato con amore e contribuisce moltissimo all'atmosfera. Anche da amante dei cani quale sono, devo ammettere che Pirate e Sweet Tooth mi hanno completamente conquistata. Se cercate un soggiorno con carattere e calore, questo è il posto giusto!

Our stay at this hotel in Shangri-La was truly the best experience we had in Yunnan. The views of 纳帕海 (Napahai Lake) were simply breathtaking — calm, expansive, and full of quiet beauty. Every morning, we woke up to a breathtaking sunrise—the soft golden light spilling across the lake, illuminating layers of mist over the water and painting the sky with pastel hues. From our window, we could see birds gracefully gliding over the lake, while horses and cows grazed peacefully in the nearby fields. The entire environment exuded serenity and peace, making it a perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. The owner was warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. There was also a friendly dog and a few cats/kittens that added a cozy and charming touch to our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with features like floor heating and in-room oxygen, which made acclimating to the altitude much easier. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and every dish cooked by the 厨房大姐 (the lady chef) was delicious and comforting. We left with wonderful memories and would love to come back again someday. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, warmth, and stunning views in Shangri-La. 我们在这家位于香格里拉的酒店度过了云南之行中最美好的时光。酒店面朝纳帕海，景色令人叹为观止 - 宁静、辽阔、充满静谧的美感。每天清晨，我们都能看到令人震撼的日出：柔和的金色阳光洒在湖面上，薄雾在水面上轻轻漂浮，天空被染成梦幻的淡色。从窗外望去，湖上有飞鸟掠过，远处的草地上，马儿和牛儿悠然吃草，整个画面如诗如画，令人心旷神怡。 酒店周围环境静谧祥和，是远离喧嚣、亲近自然的理想之地。店主热情友好，让人一到就有宾至如归的感觉。酒店里还有一只可爱的小狗和几只猫咪，为入住增添了几分温馨和趣味。客房干净整洁、维护良好，地暖和供氧系统等细节设计非常贴心，让人在高原上也住得舒适自在。 我们在酒店享用了早餐和晚餐，厨师大姐烹饪的菜肴非常可口，既美味又让人感到温暖。 我们带着满满的美好回忆离开，真心希望以后还能再来。强烈推荐给想要在香格里拉寻找舒适、温馨与绝美景色的旅人。

Staying here really shaped our time at Shangri-la - may have enjoyed our time here as the highlight! It was perfect to relax here at the end of our Yunnan trip, away from the bustle of the ancient town. In April, the grass of Napa Hai was a bit dry with the ”lake” area being diminished, so it wasn't as pristine and picturesque as seen in some photos. I did love the expanse of the clouds in the sky though. Also, to get to nicer and more scenic spots, that required calling a Didi (which didn't take long, in spite of this place being more remote) - just something to note. When coming back from the ancient city, it does take longer (and the roads are quite dark at night), but we didn't have any problems getting back. Our favorite part was all the super friendly animals roaming around - ”Ke le” (Coke) and ”Ka fe” (Coffee) the two samoyed dogs, ”Duo duo” and ”Dou dou” the two cats. Each time, they came to greet us. On one night, Duo duo the cat followed us into our room upstairs and started taking a nap; on the second night, Ke le, the large white samoyed, came into our room and started relaxing there, happily drooling and panting all the while. During one of the mornings, we had breakfast, and both (especially Ke le) were also clustered around us. On one of the days where we were heading out, Ke le even walked all the way with us to the street entrance where we called a taxi. (Apparently Ke le often accompanies and sends guests off.) Breakfast was the familiar mi xian noodles, with some pickled vegetables available. We enjoyed the pets around us as we ate. The accommodations were also super modern and very fancy, one of the best renovated stays I've experienced. They even had a machine that would increase the oxygen flow in the evenings, an air purifier, and floor heating - the whole floor got very warm. Very comfortable beds. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, with the sink in the middle - slightly inconvenient to change in the shower, but not a big problem. The staff was super helpful too! They came to pick us up from the train station upon arrival, and even sent us back when we were leaving around 6:30am (thanks to him for waking up so early to help us, even before the sun had risen)! It's about 10-15min away from the train station, very convenient. When we arrived, there was even a complimentary afternoon tea and snacks option, which they delivered to our room. There's also a rack of Tibetan-esque clothing you can borrow, though we opted to try some other clothes in the ancient city. It was hard to leave after the affection of the animals and how relaxing it was - wish we could've stayed longer!

They provided a free car pickup from the train station, and upon arrival at the city gates, they arranged a human rickshaw to whisk our luggage through the stone streets directly to our door. A special shoutout to 阿龙 (A-Long), 李琳 (Li Lin), and the entire team. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like family rather than just a guest. Their attentive, friendly, and proactive service is the heart of this boutique stay. 🛏️ Modern Comfort Meets Tradition Our room was a dream—clean, incredibly spacious, and centered around a large window that framed the mountain views perfectly. While the aesthetic is traditional, the amenities are high-tech, ensuring a stay that is as convenient as it is comfortable. 🍎 Heartwarming Touches We happened to stay during Christmas Eve, and the staff surprised us with two beautifully wrapped Lijiang Apples (平安夜苹果) for good luck and peace. It was such a thoughtful, culturally resonant gesture that made our holiday feel so personal. ✨ All-Inclusive Ease The value here is exceptional. We loved that breakfast, afternoon tea, and even laundry services were included. It took all the stress out of our travel, allowing us to simply sink into the relaxing atmosphere of the inn. 🏮 Final Thoughts This wasn't just a hotel stay; it was a highlight of our trip. Che piacevole sorpresa. Questo piccolo boutique hotel ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre aspettative. Camera confortevole, ottima colazione, personale disponibile e, per concludere, il proprietario parlava un ottimo inglese. Si trova non troppo lontano dai vicoli della città antica, quindi è facile raggiungere a piedi la strada principale. L'atmosfera era perfetta, con il tranquillo cortile e la sala da tè/colazione che offrivano un piacevole rifugio dalla folla e dal trambusto della città antica. Se dovessimo tornare a Lijiang, prenoteremmo sicuramente di nuovo.
