From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us like family, going above and beyond to recommend attractions, arrange tickets, and even personally drive us to the sites. Where else do you find service like that—done with a constant smile and thoughtful touches like free bottled water to keep us refreshed? Staying in a traditional yurt on the open grassland is an experience beyond words. There is something grounding, peaceful, and almost spiritual about waking up to endless green horizons instead of concrete grey, hearing the soft rustle of the prairie wind, and watching the morning light sweep across the landscape. This isn’t just accommodation...it’s an authentic encounter with the beauty of Inner Mongolia. Anyone visiting the region simply must experience this once in a lifetime.

It was really convenient because it was close to the railway station. On the first day I went, I said ”I'll give you the biggest room” and they gave me a room twice as big as the one I booked. I had a comfortable stay in a big room for 2 days. The front desk was easy to find and explained everything without any misunderstandings. The view is beautiful!😀

Se si sta soggiornando a Hohot e vuole un'esperienza autentica e memorabile, questo è il posto!!! Non posso raccomandare questo soggiorno a casa abbastanza. Da quando siamo entrati nel complesso, il calore della famiglia si è sentito immediatamente. Voi sarete accolti da una bella signora, suo marito e suo fratello, che vi tratta meno come un ospite e più come una famiglia. Poi, dopo l’arrivo, ci salutarono con snacks, un regalo, e ci informarono che già preparavano una cena locale; e noi ci sedemmo con loro quella sera, condividendo una distribuzione di piatti e bevande locali, era una vera notte speciale. Non parlo una parola di cinese, eppure attraverso la traduzione abbiamo avuto un bel tempo insieme. Prima di andare a letto, hanno chiesto che tempo abbiamo dovuto lasciare la mattina, così il colazione sarebbe pronto per noi che era molto bello! Il mattino è venuto con i loro cani, che ci salutavano e ci aspettavano un delizioso colazione locale a casa. Per quanto riguarda la selva, è bella e incredibilmente confortevole all'interno, esattamente quello che si desidera. Ci sono riscaldamento in se si diventa anche freddo. Abbiamo trascorso due notti, e la seconda sera abbiamo dovuto andare in fretta per un volo precoce; ma l’altra ospite si è alzata a cantare e a ballare con la famiglia, il che mi ha fatto desiderare di poter restare più a lungo. Io avrei dato questo posto un 20/10 se potessi. L'ho prenotato pensando che fosse solo un posto interessante per dormire per la notte. Quello che non sapevo era che sarebbe finita per essere un evidenziatore del mio viaggio in Cina.

I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience. I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed. After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend. In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness. Thank you brother. I look forward to returning in the near future with my partner, and when my mandarin is better.

La decorazione dell'imballaggio mongolo ha caratteristiche mongole, spazio vasto, segnale WiFi stabile, rompe la mia impressione semplice del telaio della casa prato, la posizione è eccellente, il prato circostante è aperto, e ho scattato foto ovunque, e sono tutti grandi. Il servizio del negozio è particolarmente a terra. Ci sono esigenze di guasto e dicono che aiutano a risolvere immediatamente e ci dicono intime le visione dei piccoli punti di vista circostanti. La notte in una borsa mongola può vedere il cielo di tutte le stelle attraverso la finestra del cielo, il senso dell'atmosfera è pieno di diretta, e il cibo e il gioco sono in generale in una stazione, e si consiglia davvero di stare con gli amici che vogliono giocare sulla prateria!

Sono rimasto in questo hotel con la mia famiglia per tre notti. Anche se l'hotel è piccolo, la stanza e i mobili erano puliti e relativamente nuovi. Il proprietario era molto amichevole e utile, e sempre cercava di fornire tutto quello che avevamo bisogno. L'hotel è situato in un quartiere residenziale, quindi è stato un po' difficile da trovare. Dopo aver informato il personale che non era la stanza che avevamo prenotato e che era profumata di fumo, essi immediatamente cambiarono la nostra stanza, che apprezzo. Tuttavia, vi sono stati diversi settori che potrebbero essere migliorati, e non c'è stato aria condizionata nell'alloggio o nelle strade, rendendo tali aree molto calde e stufa. Il condizionatore della nostra stanza era installato direttamente sopra il letto, e era piuttosto rumoroso la notte, che ha colpito il nostro sonno. I found this guesthouse as I was driving up the G331 from Erguna to Beijicun as part of my 2 0 day road trip loop from the northernmost part of China to A'ershan and back. Mo'edaogazhen is a very small, quiet town and I was the only guest in this guesthouse. I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by the Auntie and Uncle. I was welcomed to my room and got settled in. As an Englishman, I had to go down to the police station and then to another hotel to have my location registered - a Chinese Government requirement. The boss jumped in the car and saw me get it sorted nice and smoothly with no hassle. The room was nice and comfy and in the traditional wooden style which suited my trip well. A couple of improvements would be to make sure the room has a kettle on arrival and that the shower won't flood for other guests. But no harm done, I slept well and enjoyed plenty of Gongfu tea sessions. As I left, the Auntie/Sister gave me two Russian pastries which I was very appreciative of. Things like this leave a lasting impression, especially for us foreign travellers. I ended up driving from Erguna to Beijicun via the G331 - the most isolated section in the nation - and these pastries saw me through the journey well. Thank you both and Happy Chinese New Year!

We had such a great experience during our stay! The hosts went above and beyond from start to finish — they even picked us up and dropped us off at the railway station, which made everything so convenient. 🚗🚝 Before our trip, they added us on WeChat and were incredibly helpful in providing suggestions and answering all our questions.🤳 Since we didn’t have our own car, they kindly took us to nearby attractions so we could explore the area. The staff was super friendly and attentive throughout our stay. ❤️ When our room was a bit cold as the main heater was still warming up, they immediately brought over an extra heater to make us more comfortable. ☺️ They also prepared a delicious dinner and even brought it directly to our villa — then came back later to collect the dishes, which was such thoughtful service. 🍽️ The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful mountain trails to hike and adorable animals nearby. ⛰️🐑 Overall, it was a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience — we would definitely love to come back again! 🇲🇳

Overall, it’s a highly recommended retreat for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and unforgettable natural scenery. 这次入住黄河大峡谷的 Lost Villa 体验非常棒！整体环境非常安静又有私密感，因为全馆只有 15 间房，完全没有一般度假村的人潮感，住起来特别放松。房间设计有质感又舒适，而最让人惊艳的就是窗外的景色，真的可以说是这里最顶级的 view，黄河峡谷景观非常震撼，日出日落都美到像电影画面。工作人员服务也很贴心，整体氛围非常适合想远离城市、享受宁静度假的人。非常推荐！
