Oppdal is a quaint & charming little town. Our stay at Quality Hotel Skifer was a great refuge for a few hours, as we had to catch the early train in the morning. The beds were super cozy and comfy, toilet and room were very clean, and we had a lovely view of the mountain. Breakfast spread in the morning was akin to a five star! Well stocked and decent range of good items! I’m not sure who helped me with arranging the late check-in over the phone (a lovely lady!), but just wanted to say thank you for accommodating it! We were really able to get quality rest and reset our journey with a fresh mind!

Un ottimo albergo di lusso con un servizio ineccepibile, noi avevamo prenotato una matrimoniale deluxe e si confermata all'altezza della classe dell'hotel a cinque stelle, con un moderno bagno in marmo di carrara. Finalmente, al contrario dei quattro stelle in cui abbiamo soggiornato in questo viaggio in Norvegia, all'arrivo trovi il valet in divisa e cilindro che ti scarica l'auto e ti porta i bagagli in camera (gran servizio dopo 8 ore di macchina). Ottima e molto varia la colazione nel lussereggiante salone Palmehaven. Il ristorante stellato Speilsalen era chiuso per ferie e noi abbiamo cenato nella Brasserie Britannia e nel Jonathan Grill (vedi le due recensioni). Elegante il bar dove abbiamo fatto merenda con una squisita mille foglie alla crema e un ottimo drink. L'unico neo è stata la qualità del sonno che ha risentito del pesante piumone: se dormivi sotto sudavi, se dormivi sopra avevi freddo (non siamo mai riusciti a regolare l'aria condizionata che funzionava nonostante i 15 gradi esterni. Comunque un albergo di gran classe, consigliatissimo.

Città sorprendente. Vecchio e moderno sono ben armonizzati. Belle vecchie strade (Bakkland) con case di legno. In città norvegesi non abbiamo trovato così conservato (siamo arrivati attraverso il nord del paese, quindi non sapendo ancora del sud). E 'ambientale. Bella cattedrale. Una sera fare bene. Più lungo può anche per musei, forte e un parco, ma non abbiamo fatto. Se si chiede chi è Hjalmar Andersen: ha vinto tre medaglie d'oro nel 1952, è diventato tre volte il BC e tre volte il BC. scivolo lungo. E' un bel figurino in città.

Il servizio era buono. Il personale è veloce a sorridere. Il colazione è molto buono a eccellente, una vasta gamma di cose che si aspetta in Norvegia da uova a pesce. La stanza è pulita e ben progettata. Esso offre un ufficio con un punto di alimentazione molto conveniente. La posizione è a piedi dalla stazione centrale, dal porto e dal centro della città.

I chose this hotel as it was the closest to Trondheim station and I was arriving alone by train after 10 pm at night. It was also the cheapest hotel I stayed in during my 3 week travel around Norway and it was easy to see why. There were no amenities in the hotel room such as a kettle, iron, hairdryer or safe. The carpet was stained, and the TV offered about 6 channels, one of them was Al Jazeera and two of them appeared to be Chinese Government sponsored channels. There was not even the usual offering of Norwegian TV channels, just NRK1 and NRK3. The channels that there were were not properly tuned in and there was distortion on the screen. The WiFi kept dropping in and out so I couldn’t watch anything on my iPad either. There was an overhead light when you entered the room above the door, but nothing above the bed, just two tiny bedside lamps so the room appeared dark and unwelcoming. Neither was there a wardrobe or draws, just a frame to hang clothes on with two hangers. The room was warm, and there was a temperature control so that was a bonus. The view from the window of the room I was in was over the train station and out into the fjord beyond. Luckily it was not noisy although I am aware that there were trains running throughout the night. The shower room was also quite sp**** - the seat on the toilet was broken, the two towels provided were quite threadbare, and there were two dispensers on the wall, one by the sink, the other in the shower dispensing minute quantities of soap. The good point was that the shower itself was strong and hot, and appeared quite clean. The light in the shower room was on a sensor which took a while to switch itself off, this has the potential to be quite annoying if you are sharing the room and one of you gets up in the middle of the night On the ground floor was a breakfast room but I did not have breakfast or anything from the reception area so cannot comment on the food or drink on offer - there were also hot and cold drinks and some pastries on sale from the reception desk. The main thing going for this hotel is its’ proximity to Trondheim Station, however I realised on my first morning there that there significantly better hotels within close, well-lit walking distance across the bridge from the station

Non ci siamo resi conto che questo hotel si trova letteralmente all'aeroporto, insieme al rumore tipico e alla folla transitoria dell'aeroporto. Noi abbiamo incaricato per errore di prendere in giro una macchina per attraversare la Norvegia e, al momento di uscire dal garage, abbiamo visto il nostro hotel proprio all'uscita. Mi sono trascinato in hotel e mi sono chiesto dove potevamo parcheggiare il nostro hotel e mi sono detto che non c'era nessun parcheggio, ma invece dovremmo tornare all'aeroporto e pagare per il parcheggio di notte (se avessimo saputo, non avremmo noleggiato l'auto fino a mattina). All'ispezione, ho capito che intendevamo prenotare il centro di Radisson. Quando ho chiesto se potevamo trasferire la nostra prenotazione se avessero camere, ci è stato detto che se avessimo fatto che avremmo trascorso il tempo di annullamento all'hotel aeroportuale in 10 minuti e ci sarebbe stato prelevato un'altra notte lì. Il personale del servizio era giovane e inesperto, ma amichevole.La nostra stanza era una tipica scatola di taglio con le comodità moderate. Come si è accertato, il colazione non è stato incluso e troppo costoso, anche per le norme scandinave, ma non ci sono opzioni a meno che non si vuole andare all'aeroporto e ottenere cibo veloce. In generale, non un hotel impressionante per il servizio, ma un suono per i viaggiatori di business che hanno bisogno di un posto per rimanere vicino all'aeroporto.

It's a box with a bed and a bathroom. Good for a need to sleep and nothing else. Easy to find parking even if they do not provide it. I need to deduct some points for unnecessary confusion with checking in. We had booked two rooms, and got a text around 1400 telling us the room was ready. As we had booked two rooms, this seemed strange, and we had to call to hear about the other room. The other room was booked, but wasn't ready until around 1630 when we got the second text. Unnecessary confusion.

Pagato per l'aggiornamento per la stanza ” vista sul mare”. Sì, si può vedere il fjord nella distanza tra i tratti (rumori) del treno immediatamente fuori dall'hotel e sulla principale autostrada nord-sud. La stanza non aveva un aria condizionata e non era necessaria, poiché la Norvegia ha solo l'estate per una settimana.

We were so fortunate to be able to check into this hotel when our reserved Air BnB apartment was unsatisfactory. The location of this hotel is outstanding! One can walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, as well as to tourist attractions like the Nidaros Cathedral, the colorful houses along the Salmon River, and other historical sites. The room we chose was oversized and quite nice with nice windows overlooking the town square. It offered a TV in the sitting area which came with a sofa and a chair. The closet was large with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was very roomy and user friendly. It also had a TV in the bedroom area. The bed was King sized and very comfortable with fluffy pillows too. The bedroom area came with a table and chairs as well. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. They had offerings that would appeal to both European and American breakfast preferences. We were delighted with this hotel stay.

Hotel molto moderno in una posizione eccezionale, a due passi dal centro, dalla cattedrale e dall'Università. Camere insonorizzate e dotate di tutto quello che serve. La pulizia viene eseguita ogni 4 giorni del vostro soggiorno. La colazione davvero molto buona e in ogni momento della giornata è disponibile, caffè, tè, acqua e cornetti. Ultima nota positiva: personale davvero gentile, simpatico e disponibile!
