L'hotel è più un tre stelle che un quattro, ma è stato bello stare qui durante il COVID-19. Ottima piscina e il direttore è stato gentile. Non rispondeva quando abbiamo provato a contattare l'hotel su due numeri e tramite il loro Facebook per organizzare il prelievo gratuito dalla stazione degli autobus, ma è comprensibile. C'è una donna più anziana che fa parte dello staff e l'abbiamo trovata molto lunatica. a parte questo il posto è ok.

The hotel looks so nice from outside. Their lobby looks luxurious, much better, in fact, than the rooms. The room is spacious but totally uncomfortable: hard mattress and pillows, the armchairs cushions are harder than the mattress, which means that I couldn't use them. There is no furniture like a closet, it's made of that awful dark colored concrete in bad need of a lack of paint, just like the walls. The room was reasonably clean and we were asked if we wanted cleaning each day. The day we asked just for a change of towels, nobody bothered to empty the trash. The room had a nice small balcony, but no furniture to sit outside, not even a rack to hang our clothes or dry our towels. The bathroom was kept pristine but the shower curtain was a disgrace, not to be touched. We had booked (and paid) for a queen bed but got twins, instead, without any prior notice or apologies for the change. The hotel location is convenient, along a main road, within walking distance of the city center and the lovely river. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone: it is too primitive for the price.

My second night at Classy Hotel was very good, but not the first night which was really bad -- the air con was not strong enough, and because of a thick comforter, I had a very difficult night, not falling asleep until early in the morning. The twin beds were also very uncomfortable. The next day I was moved into another room, and the air con was very good and the large bed very comfortable, so I slept quite well. The hotel manager later told me that some rooms have weak air cons, which they are fixing -- but why put me in a room with a weak air con at all? In any case, the breakfast is good (though a few too many pork choices), with excellent coffee. And the large swimming pool is nice. WiFi is excellent, the location is great with many eateries nearby. Even though my first night at Classy Hotel was not good, I will likely stay there on my next trip to Battambang -- as long as they put me in a room with good air con and a large bed.

L'hotel è pulito e confortevole, a pochi ristoranti vicino al fiume, e ha una grande e pulita camera con un ufficio, frigorifero e balcone che dal 5° piano ha una bella vista! È facile ottenere un Tuk Tuk al treno di Bamboo o alle grotte di pipistrelli (definitamente vale la pena una visita). C'era sempre qualcuno al desk e ci siamo sentiti al sicuro. Internet non era perfetto, quindi consiglierei di avere la tua carta SIM se si prevede di fare il lavoro online.

Well I will start by saying we will be back! We are CNDs semi/retired in Phnom Penh. We needed a break feom the hustle and bustle of the big city and tried this resort. We were greeted with the sweetest most helpful young lady, missed her name, that took great care of us. As we walked passed the pool area and restaurant to our lakeside cabin I knew this was what we needed. It's gorgeous, clean, friendly and gardeners are so busy keeping it all clean but ever so discreetly. It was perfect! We're so happy we've found our escape place! Room 4 lakeside is so private and a deck right at the edge of the pond that has blooming lilies on it. Like a scene from a romantic movie. Thank you reception staff and restaurant staff for a beautiful get-away. We couldn't have asked for more. Oh and the food!! Top notch.

Ho impiegato più di un'ora per trovare questo hotel anche se soggiorno a Battambang da più di 3 anni. Nessuno riesce a trovare questo hotel sulla mappa di Google o sulla mappa fornita dall'hotel perché si sbagliano. Questo hotel è in realtà situato adiacente al mercato centrale, l'edificio più alto lì intorno, l'ingresso principale è nascosto sul lato sinistro dell'edificio, molto piccolo e poco attraente, la lobby/reception dell'hotel è al 3/F, c'è un piccola piscina e sky bar al 13/F, il ristorante è al 2/F. Sul 1/F e G/F, occupato da una banca nazionale. Si tratta di un hotel nuovo con un nuovo stile di arredamento ma solo per viaggiatori d'affari, non per relax in famiglia. La colazione a buffet è ottima ma i servizi dell'hotel e lo standard operativo devono essere migliorati.

The Ramchang Guest House... is a bit of a way outside the ”city.” Battambang feels like a large, overgrown village. The hotel itself reminded me of country guest houses in Mexico. The hotel is in the midst of rice-paddies. Easy to get to the town by TukTuk. The room was not large, but was comfortable. AC worked well. Comfortable beds, with good linens. The dining room serves delicious and affordable meals. They have a good laundry service. The sweet lady even ironed my clothes. (I haven't had an ironed shirt in over 20 years!) There is a swimming pool in the lush, tropical garden. Frangipani flowers under foot scented our meanders through the garden. Over-all a great place. Note: Very little English spoken.

I left my computer charger cord in my hotel in another city. The staff at the Lucky called the hotel and I was able to talk with them. The next day the cord was at the reception desk all for 2$. The hotel had a swimming on the 2nd floor which was weird but it was nice. Also a pool table, but the restaurant or whatever it was didn't seem to be functioning. It was a little noisy in the morning starting at 6:30/7am. One of the maids was taking care of a little girl who got noisy sometimes. I had to leave Battambang because I couldn't take the 40+ degree temperatures everyday and the dust in the air because the streets were covered in dirt from all the construction going on

L'Hotel Seng Hout è stato ampliato in modo significativo e ora ha 2 edifici. La sicurezza è leggermente compromesso, poiché c'è ora una passeggiata all'aperto lungo le finestre di molte camere, con alcune di queste finestre incapace di chiudere completamente - anche se non c'è stato alcun incidente di sicurezza effettivo durante il nostro soggiorno. Le strutture e la pulizia sono minime ma funzionali. Il personale si batte un po' con semplici richieste come la carta da bagno o le maglie supplementari (il maglione è più piccolo del letto, quindi può essere difficile condividere in letti matrimoniali - ma non è disponibile alcuna altra). Tuttavia, funzionale e confortevole soggiorno per il prezzo.

Great homestay if you want to experience the life of local Khmer people. Located near the bat cave and surrounded with rice fields, perfect way to disconnect from busy city life and indulge in local culture. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. Saro speaks English very well, he can introduce you to local culture and touristic spots. Don’t expect a five star hotel but rather an assembly of humble huts. Saro and his family provide everything needed to make sure we spend a comfortable stay. Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the rice fields.
