This is good Japanese style ryokan!
The onsen is great, the room is clean and stuff n receptionist is kind.
The one thing I feel not good is far from Matsue station. If u use train u can easily to go there. It’s near to castle of matsue, yomegashima. If u can see the sunset, it will be memorable experience!

Excellent onsen Hotel surrounding with beautiful garden. the staff in the hotel is nice and super-helpful, though I wish they could find more english speaking workers. Room is clean and food is delicious. Wish I could have spent more time in the hotel! Definitely will come back to enjoy!

Ho prenotato una camera per due con due letti. La camera era un po' piccola per due adulti. C'erano un forno a microonde, distributori automatici e una zona lounge al secondo piano. La camera si trova a un minuto a piedi dalla stazione di Izumoshi e dal capolinea degli autobus che portano al santuario di Izumo Taisha. Consiglio di visitare questo magnifico santuario a chi si trova in città.

Very good value. Double room is spacious for two people. Bathroom is also spacious. Room, lobby, and public bath are clean. Very close to the Matsue station (less than ten minutes walking). Convenient and would return again. It wasn't super cheap when we booked, but it's definitely a case of getting what you pay for.

it’s my fav dormy inn so far. literally 30 steps from JR station and bus/taxi stops, while the station has souvenir shop, convenience store/atm, locker, a resto. room with separate sink, second door blocking outside sound, a tiny stool for eating, plus their signature top-floor public bath. outside the hotel some trees where birds gather every evening. if they can clean the air-con more frequently i’d be even happier.

是我最喜歡的日式温泉酒店，睡榻榻米布團的那種。周邊的風景也是絕美，宍道湖和温泉街，神社都是不可錯過的！酒店的温泉特別棒，碳酸水很滑，泡完渾身滑溜溜的，不愧為三大美人湯之一！晚餐餐食稍顯不夠精緻和高級，如果不自己加菜，甚至有可能吃不飽，早餐居然沒有温泉蛋，在温泉酒店居然吃不到温泉蛋……

酒店位於松江宍道湖温泉站（不是JR松江站）出門就是私鐵（都是一畑公司的）和宍道湖風景。私鐵可以直達出雲大社景點，還有一日券1800日元。
我們入住的是豪華雙床湖景房，攜程上帶早晚飯的價格很划算，所以就在這裏吃飯。早晚餐都是偏日式的自助，晚飯更加豐盛一些，食材新鮮，有刺身小份烤牛肉 類似肉夾饃的，還有其他種類很多，性價比很高了。
設施：泡湯在6樓，衹有室內温泉大池和桑拿房。
一樓有咖啡和簡餐，入住贈送了兩杯果汁也在這裏兑換。
需要注意的是，松江現在超過5000日元一晚的酒店需要交200宿泊税，温泉税是1人1晚150日元。

AANDREAS NUR JAHJAMatsue Excel Hotel Tokyu was our 5th hotel in this journey, and honestly, it set the bar pretty high.
The location was hard to beat — right opposite Matsue Station, and it could be easily reached through an underpass, which was especially helpful when travelling with big luggage or during bad weather.
One big surprise for us was the check-in experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 11.30am, fully expecting to leave our luggage and return later, but we were told that our room was already ready and we could occupy it immediately instead of waiting until the usual 3pm check-in time. It also seemed that they upgraded our booking to a Standard Double Room, which made the experience even better. Two thumbs up for this hotel.
Even though we had booked a Standard Single Room, the space genuinely surprised us. The room came with a queen bed and was more than comfortable for two of us. We were able to fully open our large suitcases without feeling cramped — something that is not always guaranteed in Japanese hotels.
The room layout was practical and well thought out, with a proper TV console and work desk with a chair, a single sofa with a small table, an air purifier, and a fridge. The TV model was a bit outdated, though it did not affect our stay.
The bathroom was also spacious, with a proper bathtub that allowed us to stretch our legs comfortably after long days out. The bed was very comfy, and they provided two pillows for each of us, which made our sleep even better.
Amenities and bottled water were provided at the lobby area, which we found convenient. We paid around SGD159 (JPY19,000) for two nights, and it was excellent value.
Overall, it was one of the best hotels in this journey, and we would gladly stay here again.

Il personale della reception è stato molto gentile e ha fatto del suo meglio per comunicare con me, nonostante il mio giapponese piuttosto stentato. Agli ospiti viene assegnato un armadietto, protetto da una tessera magnetica. L'armadietto era sufficiente per me, che avevo con me solo uno zaino normale e un paio di scarpe, ma potrebbe non bastare per chi viaggia più leggero. I bagni erano in comune e piuttosto puliti, completamente attrezzati con articoli da bagno per la doccia e l'igiene personale. Il Wi-Fi era incluso e funzionava abbastanza bene per un utilizzo generale, anche all'interno della camera condivisa. La capsula letto era dotata di cuscino e coperta, luci e prese di corrente per i telefoni. Avevo più spazio di quanto immaginassi, abbastanza da potermi sedere sul letto. L'unico inconveniente di questa tipologia di camera era la scarsa circolazione dell'aria, probabilmente a causa del clima caldo che caratterizza il Giappone ultimamente, ma credo che i ventilatori potrebbero funzionare in modo più efficiente o che le capsule potrebbero essere dotate di una presa di corrente. A parte questo, consiglio questa struttura e ci tornerò sicuramente.

UUtente ospiteNicely situated in the centre of one of the two main streets in Yunotsu. I stayed in the bottom capsule which is much more spacious than the top capsule since you get space to put your belongings. Kitchen was equipped with basic condiments like soy sauce and cooking oil. There is a coin laundry facility in the adjoining building - 500 yen for wash and 100 yen per 10 mins of drying.
The only concern I had was with the check in process, which luckily for me I was informed about before by reading the reviews. Check in is at Kazeto, another hotel around 5 mins walk away from Watowa. This can be troublesome for guests arriving by foot as you’ll need to backtrack to Kazeto if mistakenly arriving at Watowa first. Staff at check in were helpful and friendly (English speaking) and provided ample information about the facilities and attractions in Yunotsu and surrounds.

- warm and friendly staff who could not speak much English but were very nice to explain to me the details of the hotel
- gorgeous garden where you could take a seat and enjoy the view
- free Japanese alcohol at 1500-1800 (soft drinks until 2100)
- impressive free Japanese cultural performance at 2110
- quick and positive response despite I made several urgent requests due to sudden plan change
- free shuttle bus service between JR station and hotel if you approached front desk for information
- the environment of the public bath was quite clean
- totally different food combination in dinner for 2 nights
Considering the price I paid for such service, I would say the quality is definitely beyond my expectation. :) Thank you every hotel staff who made my experience a better stay!!

GGOMEZGOMILAHabitación bastante pequeña y encima la mitad del suelo estaba elevado por una especie de estante de madera que me hizo tropezar un par de veces.
Baño común demasiado caliente y no muy cómodo. Había un sofá de masaje pero creo que estaba roto y muy desgastado.
Solo había 1 ascensor funcionando y no era cómodo.
Personal de recepción muy atentos y me dejaron en la habitacion la maleta que había enviado desde Kioto.

Dopo circa cinque e mezzo di sauna, il sole non era così grande a tre e quattro dopo le cinque e mezzo dell'estate. Seduto nella sauna e guardando il sole giallo e gialla, viveva bene e il bagno era all'aperto. Fai un bel ritorno alla selvaggina
Il difetto è che troppo disgustoso e lentamente mangiare...Non ho mangiato completamente senza umore...Ho ancora una bevanda che non ho finito di bere e sono stata presa e pagata una bevanda extra. Anche se non ho bevuto niente, era davvero sgradevole. E'molto delizioso, ma il cibo davanti è troppo disgustoso per portare all'ultimo riso di caramelle che non ho mai mangiato.
P.S. Attenzione alla protezione contro la difesa dei parassiti. Il raggio ultravioletto qui è così terribile che è stato ferito, ma il balcone è troppo esposto per essere fatto.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed for three days and the hotel was beautiful. Very spacious, all of the amenities and such a relaxing hot spring tub. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and different each day, with local foods. The ladies who worked at the breakfast restaurant were very helpful and so nice. The front desk people were accommodating and easily aided us with any questions we had. Such a wonderful day and such a pleasure to meet James, the owner. It is really a lovely hotel.
