The best hotel in this trip. The room is really large in size and tidy with different amenities provided. Got very nice hair dryer from refa. My family enjoyed the stay here. Very nice scenery, right next to the biggest lake in japan. Definitely recommended.

Very good experience at the Mercure Lake Biwa. A high-standard hotel with great views and quality services. Even though there were many group guests, everything was well organized. Thanks to my Accor card, I could enjoy some nice benefits, which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
They are also bike friendly !

A causa dell'assenza di ristoranti vicino, il ristorante dell'hotel è stato sostituito da menu come il bar o il ristorante familiare.
Voglio che lo faccia.Inoltre, c'è una macchina automatica per la vendita di vino/ ghiaccio all'hotel, ma non è conveniente perché non c'è una macchina automatica per la vendita di caffè/frutta.

Very good hotel with room that is spacious with balcony. Very beautiful view around the hotel that is near the lake. Good services. Nice onsen place. With good nice restaurants within the hotel. Provide free shuttle bus to the nearest shopping area. The only downside it does not have laundary service. The breakfast has a good spread.

A great place to stay near the station with friendly helpful staff and a somewhat pretty nice breakfast, considering it is complimentary.
This hotel is close to Hikone Castle and the JR station. The hotel also offers a lot of parking space for free, which being close to the station is amazing!
The room was clean and tidy with a typical Japanese style small bath.
The only thing that upset us, was the lack of Onigiri which had been in the photos when booking. But. Again, the breakfast is complimentary and seasonal as said in the hotel, so no big issue!
Would stay again!

The huge Marriott is complete with great hospitality. The hotel has a cycling route and a sport centre 3 mins walk away with only ¥500 rental per house for normal bikes and gears which is great for the hotel guests and great location for young riders to start the riding. Journey here

The American atmosphere spread across the whole hotel with the help of design. It was quite classic. The room setting is a bit too liberal. The bathroom and toilet are in see-through form.The hotel, by the way, is conveniently located by the train station and the discounted parkings are right next to the hotel .

Questo hotel ha il miglior receptionista che abbiamo incontrato durante il nostro viaggio in Giappone per 6 settimane.
La nostra bici era rotta, lei era molto paziente con la barriera linguistica tra noi.
Ha insistito che portassimo la bicicletta all'hotel, perché l'esterno era troppo caldo.
E' andata a raccogliere guanti di plastica, portando la nostra catena di bicicletta (che era molto grassa), ha aiutato 10 minuti a lavorare sulla catena.
Ci ha detto che lavorava in un bikeshop prima di iniziare a lavorare all'hotel.
Una signora fantastica!!

The lady receptionist is very helpful and kind. Much appreciated for your help! In general, the hotel situates for just a 2-minute distance from Seta JR Station, and it takes around ~20min travelling time from/to Kyoto. Reasonable facilities given the price is economic. Thank you for the hospitality.

UUtente anonimoIt was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay.
The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time.
The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata!
The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub.
Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable!
Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat!
The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back.
Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

JJiexixiaoka1月從比叡山看到琵琶湖，就開始找目的地，從彥根城到大津找了一圈，選了大津的雄琴温泉，酒店從おごと温泉駅不方便步行抵達，但是出站口有一個免費手機可以聯繫酒店五分鐘後酒店車接，很方便。
酒店外部是丘陵地形，走路去琵琶湖邊上需要15分鐘左右，在房間可以看到湖。夜景漂亮極了。酒店周圍沒有大面積的櫻花景色。
酒店內部是美麗的和式風情，小さい細節はか素晴らしいです
設施：一階て二階要乘坐扶梯，3&6層有吸煙點，除了蒼天餐廳還有其他餐廳，一樓大廳有一個大商店和咖啡廳，大浴場はままです
在蒼天連着吃了四天4頓晚飯4頓早飯，每一餐有細微的變化，都是非常健康新鮮的食材，但是下一次我會衹訂兩天宿泊、二天宿不含餐，因為就餐時間要提前確認，遲到早退會影響其他客人，影響了其他行程安排，為了吃飯夜間大津博物館沒去成。
房間贊極了，和式兩間房，兩個電視，露天風呂はジャグジーある、広い。保潔和鋪床完全無接觸，早飯時填好表格，人出去玩的時打掃，晚飯時間有人鋪床，非常非常舒適。如果想體驗千與千尋裏面油屋的風呂、建議步行去湖邊的あがりやんせ、裏面吃喝玩樂理髮按摩，還有免費劇場，圖書館，按摩椅，1600円一人可以玩一天。

TthewandercuratorDopo un'influenza di Kyoto, amo l'ambiente tranquillo e tranquillo di questa bella città di gioielli e di castello di onsen. Tutto circa l'hotel parla di relax e benessere. È solo un 7-8min passeggiata dalla stazione Hikone, ma c'è una navetta alberghiera che parte alle 9, 10 e 11 se hai bisogno di un calo. Probabilmente anche il pick-up potrebbe essere organizzato. L'hotel offre una bella terrazza esterna con vista sul castello, un spa in loco con massaggio, una sala biblioteca con bevande gratuite fino alle 10 pm, un angolo riflesso a piedi e un accoppiamento compatto con un bagno di seta (tutto con vista sul castello) e bancone di pietra calda. Ho avuto tutta la mia mente stasera, quindi è stato molto rilassante, il personale è gentile e carino, cercando di spiegare tutti i servizi e le attrazioni in inglese. Il buffet è stato anche uno dei migliori che ho visto durante le mie viaggi in Giappone. Se stai visitando il castello, la strada di ingresso è proprio fuori dall'hotel. La strada principale del castello è a circa 5-10 min di distanza, ma vi passerete attraverso una famosa cantina giapponese, Taneya e Club Harie. I loro souvenir sono uno che anche il giapponese ama. Vorrei tornare qui con il mio partner un giorno. Grazie per il piacevole soggiorno.

BBoluoxingrenDa Kyoto a Tokyo, per adattare il tempo di uso della nuova linea di secco del tic, era pronto a prenotare alla stazione di Meiyuan, ma aprire la mappa per scoprire che la radice di Zhuang era vicino al lago di Zhuang, e ci era la città di Zhuang, che era qui per una notte.
L'hotel è molto caldo e molto confortevole, perché il tempo di arrivo è più presto, non è ancora arrivato al momento del soggiorno, ho riposato nella sala dell'hotel per un po'. La reception è molto entusiasta. Dopo aver pulito la stanza, ho fatto il mio primo soggiorno.
L'hotel non è lontano dalla stazione JR Wugan, ci sono molti negozi di cure vicino a 711.
