Giappone: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Prefettura di Hiroshima

Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs. Lovely staff with excellent English.

The hotel’s facilities are excellent, and the location is very convenient. For the price, it offers great value. Most staff members were friendly and helpful, but the January 5th evening shift staff member was not friendly at all. On the night of January 5, this male staff member was quite unhelpful and rude. I had a package delivered to the hotel, and I had confirmed ahead of time that the hotel could receive it. When I asked about it, he said they hadn’t received any packages. I explained that the building’s address might be shared and that it could have been delivered to the neighboring property (this had happened before, and another staff member had kindly helped me retrieve it). However, he simply told me to contact the delivery company myself and walked away abruptly. Since I don’t speak Japanese, it was difficult for me to handle the issue alone. I chose a hotel with front desk service specifically for help in such situations. The next morning, I spoke to another staff member, who kindly said they would look into it. Later, they found the package, which indeed had been delivered to the neighboring building. That evening, I was finally able to collect it—but it had been opened. The staff apologized repeatedly, and I accepted their apology, but thinking back, it does raise some concern. The opened package contained over-the-counter medicine, and the box was clearly labeled as such. If there was any suspicion, I believe it would have been more appropriate to verify with the guest upon pickup or report it to the authorities, rather than open the package privately. Overall, the hotel’s hardware and location are excellent, and the staff are generally polite. I just hope that management can improve staff training and establish a better procedure for handling delivered packages to ensure a more professional experience in the future.

此次日本行住過的最好飯店。畢竟是G7廣島峯會的會議酒店，硬件設施和軟件服務都非常棒。廣島站到酒店有免費穿梭大巴，每天七次來回，絕對方便。從客房就可欣賞瀨户內海的日出日落。酒店的早餐太豐盛了，在23樓，邊吃早餐邊觀賞無敵海景。

La posizione è molto centrale, molte possibilità di mangiare nelle vicinanze, anche molti negozi sono molto vicini all'hotel. Peace Museum e Peace Memorial Park sono a circa 15 minuti a piedi. La colazione all'hotel è moderata, che riguarda sia la scelta dei pasti che le località in cui si svolge la colazione, potrebbe essere molto piena e stretta. La stanza che avevamo era abbastanza piccola per due persone, ma pulita, WiFi in hotel è debole. In generale, questo hotel è completamente ok per un breve soggiorno a Hiroshima.

La nostra prenotazione originale al Mitsui Garden è stata cancellata forzatamente per lavori di manutenzione, quindi questo hotel è stata la nostra alternativa e non ci ha deluso! Servizio: il personale della reception è stato molto gentile e ci ha permesso di depositare i bagagli fino alla sera del giorno successivo! [10/10] Camera: le dimensioni erano adeguate al prezzo, molto pulita [10/10] Posizione: fantastica, a pochi passi dalla stazione di Hiroshima [10/10] Costo: incredibile, considerando che era l'alternativa offerta come risarcimento, è fantastico [10/10] Miku ed io abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno! Lavatrice disponibile, tutto ciò che si aspetta da un hotel a buon bilancio capsula, buona posizione, solo alcuni dei mattress nelle camere che non sono stati aggiornati ancora usa un cambio perché soprattutto verso il centro non sono così spesso (confrontato con le parti).

Ok, this one is difficult to rate. The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place. But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road. There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat. You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that. Toilets, bath, all is shared. Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while. The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did. I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least. The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling. Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.

Tutto era perfetto e ho dormito benissimo. Tuttavia, ho scoperto che la mia camera aveva purtroppo iniziato a mostrare i segni del tempo da tempo, e avrebbe dovuto essere ristrutturata da tempo. La colazione era molto varia per quello che ho sperimentato finora in Giappone, con una selezione davvero completa e una vista mozzafiato dal ristorante al 25° piano.

Questo è stato il terzo Universal Hotel in cui ho soggiornato (Kyoto e Okayama). La posizione è buona, a circa 400 metri dalla stazione di Hiroshima. Questo hotel e quello di Kyoto sono come un condominio, aperti verso l'esterno. Anche se la stanza era confortevole, una volta fuori dalla porta si sentiva il freddo dell'esterno. Il cibo era standard in tutti gli Universal Hotel, anche se in quelli qui e a Kyoto il cibo era caldo mentre a Okayama era freddo. La stanza includeva colazione e cena. Tutto sommato, soggiornerei di nuovo negli Universal Hotel.

Ho soggiornato qui per tre notti. La posizione è strategica e ci sono molti posti dove mangiare nelle vicinanze. La receptionist è stata molto gentile, parlava un inglese fluente e mi ha spiegato tutto in modo chiaro. A volte, al mio ritorno, mi chiedevano come fosse andata la giornata 😆. Anche la ragazza che gestiva la struttura era gentile e parlava un inglese fluente. Ogni sera mi chiedeva se la temperatura fosse confortevole, se avessi freddo, ecc. Era davvero gentile 🥹🥹. C'è una camera speciale per donne con letti a castello per quattro persone, dotati di serratura automatica. C'è un ampio deposito bagagli e il Wi-Fi è gratuito. Il letto è un futon e bisogna sistemare le lenzuola da soli. Spazzolini da denti e asciugamani sono forniti ma a pagamento. Nel complesso, è fantastico e ha un prezzo estremamente conveniente!
