Grecia: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Tessaglia

La mia famiglia ed io,in arrivo da Atene,abbiamo prenotato due camere comunicanti in questo hotel,per due notti,come appoggio per la visita delle Meteore. Purtroppo,le nostre considerazioni sono negative su ogni fronte. Accoglienza fredda e scarna. Ambienti comuni rinnovati non proprio recentemente,ma diciamo,comunque,accettabili anche se privi di accoglienza e calore. La piscina non è’ stata da noi utilizzata.Quindi,non posso esprimere un parere. Per quanto riguarda le camere le definirei di una tristezza assoluta. Spazi piccoli ed angusti,mobili vetusti e trasandati.Il livello massimo di decadimento concerne il letto che era stato così tanto usato da essere sfondato e con doghe che scricchiolavano.Senza parlare della qualità delle lenzuola e delle spugne in bagno. In bagno abbiamo trovato qualche capello. Quindi,la pulizia risultava anche approssimativa. Noi abbiamo consumato una cena e una colazione e che dire il cibo era da mensa. Per nostra figlia celiaca avevano a disposizione pane e pasta,ma nulla in più. Presi dalla disperazione trascorsa la prima notte,abbiamo preso tutti i bagagli,benché ci avessero già fatto pagare due notti,e ci siamo trasferiti in una graziosa e accogliente e soprattutto pulitissima guest-house. A favore del responsabile c’è da dire che ci ha offerto la cena della sera precedente. In conclusione,direi che si trattava di un hotel di media qualità che,però’,negli anni,e’ stato solo sfruttato senza fare alcuna miglioria delle camere. Per noi sconsigliatissimo.

Ho soggiornato una settimana in questo hotel con mia figlia. Tutto perfetto! Situato in zona strategica al centro di skiathos town, pochi minuti dal centro e dai negozi. Si trova al porto nuovo nella zona pedonale con tutti i ristoranti che affacciano sul porto. È ad un minuto dal capolinea dei bus Ha a disposizione un servizio gratuito per 3 spiagge ( da prenotare in anticipo). Servizio reception molto cortesi e competenti. Colazione abbondante a buffet servita su uno stupendo terrazzo panoramico Stanze pulite l’albergo pulito e ristrutturato Consigliato

Un dignitoso tre stelle felicemente ubicato all’inizio della strada principale di Kalambaka e quindi in posizione ottimale sia per una passeggiata in centro sia per uscire in auto e dirigersi verso le Meteore. Camere arredate con gusto e dotate (almeno quelle fronte strada) di un comodo terrazzino con tanto di sedie e tavolino. Molto piacevole la stanza da bagno, minimale ma perfettamente fruibile e ben rifinita. Personale gentilissimo e premuroso, colazione all’altezza. Unico neo i comodini con ripiano spigoloso ad altezza della tempia. Un dettaglio da rivedere.

Very disappointed as I spent quite a bit of time looking for just the ”right” place to stay in this magical area. This was a long awaited trip extensive trip through Greece (and Istanbul) and as stated, I took great pains to find just the right establishment in each place I visited. My stay in Kalambaka was to be no different. With only 2 short days, this was to be of quality, not quantity. While still be somewhat budget conscious, I was not going to settle for a bottom of the barrel ”economy room” someplace in the area. I wanted a warm and inviting room with a nice balcony to relax, have some wine, look up at the Rocks and ponder over my experiences that day after a magical and spiritual day of exploring the Monasteries. After searching and reviewing any hotels, bnb's (what have you), many the same price range, if not less, I landed on Toti. Close to everything (shops, town life, markets, scooter rental, and train station), but not ”right in the middle” of it all where it wouldn't be quite as peaceful. Had simple, but warm and inviting decor and an inviting and comfortable balcony, just as I wanted (...or so it was advertised). As I have learned over the years, I had contacted the establishment to confirm the room I was booking; size, style, amenities, balcony, view etc. Upon receiving their reply email, informing me there was no coffee pot/kettle, so I should buy breakfast (???), did have a nice balcony with meteora view, as well as advising me to look at the pictures of the room they had posted, as to show what to expect for the room I was booking. With that confirmation I went through with the booking. When I arrived and shown to the room I was in awe (and not in a good way), so much so I expressed as such pretty much the minute I stepped into the room. I was simply told it had what I booked (??). When I saw the ”balcony” I was even more so taken aback. It had a metal security door on a side wall that opened up into a ”space” that was more of an outdoor landing than a balcony. No more than 5x3 feet, a metal corrugated partition, and one plastic yard chair squeezed in. There wasn't even room for a table so they had a ”tray table” attached to the railing. While it did have a view of the Rocks, it was far from comfortable and relaxing as I had to squeeze around the door just to be able to get to the chair to sit down. Forget about being able to sit back and relax, as the only way I was able to stretch my legs was to shimmy the chair out a bit to be able to close the door (leaving me outside); which I was afraid to do without leaving a wedge in the door jamb for fear of getting locked out on said ”balcony”. (as the door, handle, lock etc were some subpar ”storage unit” looking type deal). So, after a quick debate with myself to address this with management in attempt to resolve and remedy, I didnt want to waste the minimal time I had dealing with this bs. I dropped of my bags and went to explore. Upon my late evening return, after an AMAZI

The Theatro Hotel Odysseon is located quite close to the road that connects all 6 monasteries in Meteora. This makes self-guided touring of the monasteries very easy (no need to hire a guide as it's super-easy to do on your own if you have a vehicle). There is private parking on-site at this hotel. The downside of the location is that is a rather long walk to restaurants in the town centre. The room was clean and well-maintained. Ours was the ”Madam Butterfly” themed room, which featured a very low ”futon - inspired” bed. Note this may be more difficult for those who have mobility challenges as it is very low to the floor. Otherwise, the furnishings we nice. We also had a private outdoor patio with a view of one of the rock pinnacles. Breakfast was good, and served in the restaurant area of the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. The wifi in our room was quite weak. We would stay here again if visiting Meteora in the future.

Camere grandi e ampio bagno con vasca. Accessori toilet compresi accappatoio e ciabattine. Balcone grande. Ampio parco esterno. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Buona anche cena a buffet a 18 euro se una sera non avete voglia di uscire fuori. Ottimo gelato artigianale! Due gusti euro 4.50. Ampi spazi sale. Personale gentile e professionale. Consigliato!

Abbiamo trascorso 2 notti in questa piacevole casa ospite, in una posizione ideale, in una zona tranquilla, ma solo a 5 o 10 minuti a piedi nella città che abbiamo fatto ogni notte per cena. Abbiamo una sala balcone con vista sulla piscina e sulle roccia Meteora, che è fantastica. La stanza stessa era molto grande e aveva un frigo e una caldaia che apprezziamo davvero. Il bagno era di dimensioni OK, ma, come sembra, in Grecia, il doccia era di dimensioni piccole. Tutte le aree erano pulite senza spot, i proprietari erano molto utili e hanno fatto un grande lavoro di spiegare i monasteri e fornendo anche una mappa. Noi apprezziamo in particolare il fatto che si siano impegnati a mettere sul mappa il numero di passi di ogni monastero, che è un tradizionale colazione greco con ingredienti di qualità, tra cui i gioielli e i biscotti fatti a casa. Il pane servito era fresco, come abbiamo trovato non sempre in Grecia, ma c'era parcheggio gratuito proprio fuori dalla casa ospite. Se non ci avessimo fatto uso della piscina, sembrava molto invitante, e se fosse stato più caldo, avremmo dovuto andare a nuotare. Ci siamo apprezzati molto il nostro soggiorno nella Penzion Monastiri e vorremmo ringraziare il personale per averci fatto sentire così benvenuti.

Buona posizione, vicino alla fermata di autobus a buon prezzo! Non c'è alcuna inconvenienza di visitare Meteora, e il personale del lobby è molto amichevole! Mi sono riposato confortevolmente 😁

L'Hotel Kastraki ha il vecchio fascino. Ci siamo trasferiti a piacere e confortevole. Il personale ci ha dato la mappa di Meteora e ha descritto ogni monastero e punto di vista, come arrivare lì, ecc. Tutti all'Hotel Kastraki erano amici e sempre sorridenti. Abbiamo prenotato una camera tripla. Ha un balcone. Il letto era comodo. Gli asciugamani e le mutandine erano freschi e puliti tutto il tempo. Il bagno è un po' vecchio e ha bisogno di un aggiornamento però. Non ho mai visto un hotel dove il pavimento è attentamente lavato ogni volta. La signora di pulizia ha fatto un lavoro straordinario. Mio marito camminava con calzini bianchi nella stanza dell’hotel, bagno e balcone e le calzini non avevano alcuna traccia di sporcizia, ancora molto bianche. Il colazione era buona. Tutto quello che dovevamo iniziare il giorno. Siamo soddisfatti. Il parcheggio è gratuito davanti all'hotel.

Καινούργιο, όμορφο ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο της πόλης. Έχει πάρκινγκ. Τα δωματια ζεστα και μοντέρνα ωστόσο έχουν βάλει το μπάνιο δίπλα στα κρεβάτια με τζαμαρία που δεν κλείνει καλά η πόρτα όποτε δεν υπάρχει καμία ιδιωτικότητα. Ίσως υπάρχει αυτή η τάση σε κάποιες ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις απέχει ωστόσο πολύ από την ελληνική κουλτούρα. Θα το συνιστούσα μόνο για έναν ταξιδιώτη, σε καμία περίπτωση για ζευγαρια. Είχαμε καλή εξυπηρετηση παρόλο που βρεθήκαμε εκεί μετά τις πλημμύρες που έπληξαν την πόλη. Το πρωινό ήταν a la carte αλλά οκ είχε ότι ζητήσεις και σε πολύ ωραία αίθουσα με θέα.
