5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM. However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed.

The hotel is at good location, right on tge highway. You can walk or take a taxi to ski points or new gudauri. The best part is free sauna and jacuzzi in the hotel. The breakfast, though quite good has less vegan options so be careful. But overall good experience.

I brought my mom here for 5 nights and it has been a wonderful stay. 1) we lived on the 3rd floor facing the Kazbegi mountains and the view was stunning. It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the evening chatting and sipping wine or having coffee in the morning 2) The location is great, lots of trails for hiking. To do most of them you will need to go down the hill (about 600m) and then up the hill on the way back. Going up the hill might be a bit challenging for some people but you can always get a cab if needed! 3) Food in the restaurant is delicious. I’ve noticed that guests (including myself) would stay inside or take their food outside on the terrace and spend hours having breakfast in the morning, it’s that relaxing. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant a few times and it was great. And it wasn’t more expensive than the food in most local restaurants down at the hill. 4) I recommend going to the pool especially if you find time when there are not too many people (I went in the morning and evening sometimes and most of the time few people there) 5) Very helpful and friendly staff. Always smiling, always polite, being very professional and calm.

Il servizio è fantastico!Abbiamo portato il vino rosso ma non c'era un apritore. Il personale della cabina ha comprato un apritore speciale e ci ha usato gratis. Anche se si raggiunge il giorno della pioggia, la stanza è calda e il letto è molto comodo.La posizione è buona, ha una propria erba e aree di svago all'aperto, un ambiente molto comodo.E la cucina pubblica può essere usata. Il latte e il latte che portiamo al mattino sono molto comodi.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. The room is new and very clean, there is hot and cold drinking water in the foyer, and the views out the window are world class. It can be a little hard to find, but after you see the 10 Stefatsminda sign, go into the metal door (see photos). The photo of Gergeti Trinity Church I included was taken from the room. It's incredible. I have only good things to say about this place. It's amazing.

Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi. The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. Overall, a decent option for a short stay.

Vale la pena di pagare!!! Buona posizione. La stanza è davvero grande. Il tempo nella stanza è buono.

5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata di autobus Kazbegi. Le camere sono molto pulite e i letti sono confortevoli. Puoi riscaldare la stanza con un radiatore, ma non c'è un condizionatore d'aria all'interno, quindi non so cosa sarà in estate. Il desktop è amichevole e risponde bene quando richiesto È operato con un ristorante vicino alla porta, e un piccolo flusso fluisce attraverso il cortile e il paesaggio è molto buono
