Regno Unito: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di West Yorkshire

Good location near the train station and on a leisure complex with a cinema, bowling and restaurants. The only problem I had was my room was located overlooking the dual carriageway which is very loud all night. I did not get much sleep, even with some earplugs in. Maybe the rooms on the other side are fine

Booking a hotel was a little complicated but amendment requests were a disaster. I panicked a lot but there were no restrictions when I stayed at the hotel, everything was smooth.

La stanza era molto confortevole e aveva tutto ciò che era necessario da asciugacapelli, ferro, molte socche di plug. L’unica colpa era la plug in bacino che si fermò nel buco. La colazione era bella, non sbrigata e aiutatevi a fare qualcosa dal buffet - caldo o freddo. Grande parcheggio auto gratuito.

All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.

My wife requires gluten free food ( which most frequently means no wheat products) and lactose free milk. She has reacted to soya milk in the past and generally opts for oat milk.  At breakfast in the hotel everything was clearly labelled if it contained wheat, but there were few alternatives provided and no alternative to the croissants and muffins. One waitress was very helpful and offered to see if there was any oat milk in the bar. Good idea - we knew there was because my wife had it in her coffee the previous evening. The waitress went and soon returned with a carton of oat milk. She apologized for the carton but we didn’t mind, we were pleased that my wife could enjoy her cereal.  However before she could use it another waiter (the Barman?) came along and demanded its return. My wife offered to return it after her breakfast but, no, it was needed immediately in case there were other customers who wanted it. The problem was solved by my wife pouring some into a cup and giving him the carton. Not the sort of situation we expect from a decent hotel. We were pleased at the imitative of the waitress, and thanked her for it. We were appalled at the crass behavior of the man who demanded its return. All in all it was a very poor breakfast.

The Craiglands Hotel was better than a lot of five star hotels where I have stayed and I could not find any fault. The room (106) was of a good size, it was well decorated including the bathroom and totally clean. There was a large smart tv perfectly placed to be viewed from the bed. Extra touches such as a full length wall mirror and iron and ironing board all added up to emphasising the thought that had gone into making the room. There was even a fan for warm nights although not required on this occasion in March! A very nice full English buffet breakfast also made for a very pleasing stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel 👍

The apartment was very clean with large shower room and comfy bed. The communication was great and the snacks and tea making facilities were spot on. The only problem we had was the light outside our apartment 34 was not working which left the steps dimly lit and had to use phone torch to open door with the key when returned from evening out. Would definitely stay again though. Thanks

The hotel is very picturesque and traditional. I attended a family wedding and the food and service was exceptional. Breakfast was ample and served in a beautiful room. Our room was a twin and quite functional, but the bathroom could perhaps do with a little tlc. I was disappointed that we couldn’t use the spa - because we didn’t know we had to pre-book, and unfortunately it was fully subscribed. I would stay here again and it was good value for money.

Un soggiorno molto piacevole, personale molto utile e attento, l'hotel molto comodo, il cibo era di un alto standard, un bel hotel

Come prima volta una sola donna, ero all'inizio preoccupante, ma non devo essere stato. A colazione, mi sedevo da solo e un membro del personale venne a chiedere se mi sentissi bene, e mi serviva qualcosa. Pensavo solo che fosse un bel contatto personale, soprattutto oggi, dove un buon servizio al cliente sembra essere una domanda dura. Questo hotel è sicuramente raccomandato, e sarò sicuramente tornato la prossima volta che sono in città. Mantenete il buon lavoro!!
