When there is a Steigenberger hotel in my destination it is a no-brainer decision, I just book it. Excellent value for money. High-quality service and very well maintained facilities. The breakfast is fantastic. This time I booked a suite. I love this hotel chain.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Stuttgart! The staff were incredibly respectful and helpful even though not all of them spoke fluent English, they made every effort to understand and assist me, which I really appreciated.
The room was very clean, self-contained, and well-maintained. Housekeeping cleaned my room daily, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The location is perfect right by the main road with a bus stop literally just outside the hotel. It’s super convenient for anyone using public transportation to explore the city. Plus, they offer parking, which is a huge bonus for those arriving by car.
Overall, my experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stuttgart!

Grande posizione, a 1 min a piedi dalla metro, una stazione da hbf. Camera pulita, con lavatrice e cucina completa inclusi. Una notte tranquilla e sicura.
Strumenti: la struttura della mia camera è strana, rendendo la stanza oscura la notte, con una sola lampada. Nessuna porta divisa la zona di doccia, quindi il bagno è pieno di acqua dopo ogni bagno. Il doccia si è rotto durante il mio alloggio, e io li ho chiesto di ripararlo, e non lo hanno fatto; dopo un sacco di caos mi hanno offerto di cambiare la stanza, e ho deciso di metterla in piedi e di usare la foresta piovana.
In conclusione, non è male se l'incidente del doccia non fosse avvenuto, il servizio è di grande altezza, ma non così pratico in caso di problemi reali.

Questo hotel è relativamente nuovo e le strutture sono relativamente nella media, il che è standard in Germania. Il cameriere che ha ricevuto il check-in è stato gentile e molto gentile. La colazione è ricca e varia e non è male, ho scoperto che ci sono tantissime persone che soggiornano nell'hotel. L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è stato il parcheggio: al momento del check-in mi è stato detto che il parcheggio era gratuito. Ma quando siamo partiti il giorno successivo, un altro cameriere si è assicurato di farci pagare 20 euro per il parcheggio. Quando comunicava con lei, era come un ripetitore, solo una frase avanti e indietro. La tariffa della camera includeva la colazione e non includeva il parcheggio. Una persona dalla faccia cattiva comunica durante il pranzo, quindi può solo pagare e andarsene. Questo è molto spiacevole

While the hotel was generally clean and comfortable, several aspects of the stay were disappointing—especially considering the nightly room rate. One major issue was the €22 per day charge for parking. Many comparable hotels offer complimentary parking as a standard courtesy, so this felt unnecessary.
Another inconvenience was the lack of daily replenishment of bottled water in the room. This is a small but basic amenity that many hotels provide, and its absence was noticeable.
Additionally, the room itself felt quite old and in need of some updates. It didn’t quite match the standard expected for the price.
On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near a Rewe supermarket, just about 2 to 3 minutes away, making it easy to grab any essentials.
Overall, these added costs, the room's condition, and the overlooked details made the stay feel less guest-friendly and not quite worth the price.

The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick.
The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise.
The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes.
The hotel’s location was another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to [city center / tourist attractions / business district], making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. Despite being centrally located, the hotel still offered a sense of peace and privacy, which I really appreciated after a long day out.

When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.

AAirborn63L'hotel è situato vicino alle stazioni dei trasporti pubblici della U e della S-Bahn, ma non è facile per le auto in quanto si trova in una strada senza auto.
Le camere sono pulite e offrono un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo considerando la posizione centrale e il prezzo. Sicuramente va bene per poche notti per lavoro o per esplorare la città.
I letti non hanno piumoni matrimoniali come, per qualche motivo, è normale in Germania, ma sono più due letti uniti con letti singoli. Molti negozi e ristoranti nella zona anche per la colazione se non inclusa.

Clean, comfortable, great bed/pillows and shower. Because of our travel, we arrived 30 minutes before the 3pm check-in time, and were not able to check-in early. I am not sure if this is standard practice, or the result of a busy weekend trying to get all the rooms ready. Just be aware, if you have an early arrival. We would stay here again if we came back to Ulm

AAng_ieThe highlight of our stay at Bad Hotel Überlingen was definitely the spa area. It felt very new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The sauna resting area, in particular, stood out—it connects directly to a garden, and from there you have a beautiful view over Lake Constance. Stepping outside for fresh air between sauna sessions, with that view in front of you, was genuinely relaxing.
The gym, on the other hand, felt a bit disappointing. It’s quite small, and strangely, there were no weights available. It seemed like all the equipment was locked away in a physio or personal training room, which made the space feel incomplete for anyone wanting a proper workout.
Breakfast was a much more positive experience. The selection was excellent, easily better than what I’ve come across in most German hotels. Everything was well presented, and the refilling was always timely, so nothing ever felt empty or neglected. That said, the service was a little inconsistent. One staff member—a dark hair runner in the restaurant—handled a small issue with a pepper grinder poorly, initially dismissing the concern instead of checking it. Thankfully, another server stepped in quickly and resolved the situation before it escalated further.
Parking is available either at the hotel or at the car park across the street, both at €17 per day, which is straightforward but something to factor in.
What really ties everything together is the location. The surroundings are beautiful—the lakefront promenade is just there, perfect for a walk, and there’s a nearby park with a charming tower that adds to the scenery. The Bodensee-Therme Überlingen is also just around the corner, making it easy to extend that spa-like feeling beyond the hotel itself.
In the end, Bad Hotel Überlingen is a place where the setting and spa experience really shine, even if a few details—like the gym setup and some service moments—don’t quite match the overall potential. This is one of the very few hotel I would love to stay over again.

JJadesandhuL'hotel perfetto per un viaggio di due notti a Baden-Baden. Un hotel fantastico in una posizione fantastica, vicino alle terme, a negozi e ristoranti, parchi e fermate degli autobus per l'aeroporto e Merkur (tra le altre attrazioni imperdibili).
Non ho trovato alcun difetto in questo hotel e siamo rimasti sbalorditi dalla sua bellezza. Ogni dettaglio è stato curato e realizzato alla perfezione. Mi aspettavo un'esperienza economica, visto il prezzo incredibile pagato, ma non c'è proprio niente di economico in questo!
La nostra camera era pulitissima, delle dimensioni perfette e molto confortevole. Letti super comodi con piumone pesante e 2 cuscini di diverse dimensioni per ogni persona. Asciugamani morbidi e freschi e articoli da toeletta di buona qualità in bagno. Illuminazione perfetta e ben studiata in tutta la stanza. Ampio spazio per riporre gli oggetti e grucce. Stirapantaloni, asciugacapelli, bollitore, cassaforte e macchina per il caffè in camera. Ottima doccia multigetto con 3 impostazioni. Avevamo una camera lato strada e non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore. Il check-in e il check-out (che non è prima delle 12:00, il che è stato davvero comodo!) sono stati super facili e veloci e l'hotel ci ha sistemato un po' in anticipo, il che è stato molto gentile. Area lounge fantastica con un distributore automatico di bevande e snack.
Non abbiamo usufruito di questo servizio (lo abbiamo scoperto solo l'ultimo giorno), ma la reception dell'hotel è in grado di noleggiare adattatori per le prese elettriche se necessario e aveva ombrelli e borse da bagno per chi volesse utilizzarli per visitare le spa. La palestra era accessibile 24 ore su 24, ma anche in questo caso non l'abbiamo utilizzata. Abbiamo usufruito del deposito bagagli, sicuro e gratuito, il che è perfetto!

SSUSAN TOMIf we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service.
The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had.
Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room.
The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that.
The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

Il cappello del bagno è rotto, il servizio clienti telefonico, apri la porta prima, il ragazzo di ricetta è venuto a riparare, non ha detto di togliersi il vestito, ha riparato il vestito, non è limitato a casa. Il bambino ha detto che potrebbe essere perché l'operatore di manutenzione è arrivato, non so se l'anno di Machu è ～～～
