I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is extremely convenient, it’s right next to a food street, so there are plenty of dining options as soon as you step out. It’s also just a little over 1 km from West Street, and getting a ride is very easy. There are three bubble tea shops right across the road, including Chabaidao directly opposite the hotel, which was perfect for me.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They even assisted me in receiving my parcels, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable to stay in.
One small suggestion would be to improve the breakfast by offering more choices of main dishes. Other than that, everything was great. Overall, very good value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Quanzhou.

Such a great transit hotel. Arrived Xiamen at 10pm and and before that we already contact the hotel through wechat for a pickup service. They pickup us by van which is so convenience since we had 4 big luggages with us. And our flight next morning was easy as well. You can refer their airport transfer schedule & wait at lobby. Def coming back if I need to transit at Xiamen in the future.

My experience at Lanou Hotel was truly amazing 🤩. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a fresh and pleasant scent that added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The bed was clean, cozy, and provided a great night’s sleep. I also really enjoyed the breakfast—it was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. Another great convenience is that the hotel is located close to both the airport and nearby universities, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Plus, they even offer a free airport drop-off service, which makes the stay even more convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou. It truly felt like one of the best hotels we've ever visited. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We experienced an issue with water leaking in our bathtub, but the staff's response was exceptional. As soon as we mentioned the problem, they quickly arranged for us to move to a bigger room in the middle of the night. Their prompt attentiveness and willingness to accommodate us made a significant difference in our experience. We were genuinely impressed with their customer service, which turned a potentially frustrating situation into a positive one. This level of care truly reflects the high standards of the hotel, and we left feeling valued as guests. The amenities were fantastic, and our room was both luxurious and comfortable. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we can't wait to repeat!

L'hotel è ben posizionato. Alle sue spalle si trova la zona pedonale di Zhongshan Road. A un minuto a piedi si trova un enorme centro commerciale. La stazione MRT più vicina, Zhenghai Lu, si trova a circa 7 minuti a piedi attraversando il centro commerciale.
I servizi dell'hotel sono molto completi. Ho utilizzato la lavanderia e il vaporetto gratuiti quasi ogni giorno. Sono forniti anche detersivo per il bucato.
Il personale è estremamente cordiale e disponibile sotto molti aspetti. Una menzione speciale a 小钟 e 小纪 che mi hanno aiutato con la prenotazione dei biglietti dell'Alta Velocità, un processo difficile se prenotato tramite l'app 12306, che richiede un numero di telefono locale, che non avevo.
Prenoterò di nuovo questo hotel? Assolutamente sì.

The homestay is clean, although the isle is a-bit dodgy due to the motion detection lamp. But the airport transfer service is 👌 the front desk is super good. I got a free upgrade upon arrival with a queen bed room and projector screen player which allows me to watch movies

Upon arriving at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel, I was greeted with great hospitality. As I was unfamiliar with the surroundings just after getting off the car, my Driver called the Hotel for assistance. The Hotel is located inside a PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Shortly after the call, Siao Dong came to my drop-off point to help me with my luggage and assisted me to check in. She also carried my Baggage to My Room 2303 at Level 3 as there is no Lift Facility here. I thanked here very much as I would have problems carrying my Baggage as I am over 77 years of age. This Ancient City is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel environment is quite pleasant as well. There are lots of variety of local food and snacks. The Hotel also assisted to book a Group Tour to visit Nanjing Toulou and a Private to Fujian Toulou.
Also arranged for my private transport by Car to my Hotel in Xiamen.

We had an enjoyable stay at Fuzhou InterContinental. Housed in a standout high-rise, location’s convenient. Classic InterContinental experience—steady, reliable quality you’d expect anywhere. Our room was comfy, well-kept, just a touch of wear. Big thanks to Amy at reception, who kindly sorted a late check-out for us, super helpful. L'hotel è fantastico e ci soggiorniamo sempre quando viaggiamo a Xiamen. Ottimi servizi e personale accogliente, sebbene il ristorante che abbiamo provato all'interno dell'hotel fosse pessimo. Il ristorante era quello italiano al piano terra dell'hotel. Abbiamo ordinato una varietà di antipasti e piatti principali, anche se ci sono stati serviti a orari diversi e di fatto abbiamo mangiato tutti da soli. Ho sottolineato il fatto che è possibile portare tutti gli antipasti e i piatti principali contemporaneamente e la risposta è stata che impiegano tempi di cottura diversi. L'ho trovato sorprendente e sicuramente gli chef avrebbero potuto modificare la situazione per soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Il personale del ristorante era pessimo, non ci hanno chiesto com'era il nostro pasto, anche se ne avevamo lasciato la maggior parte. In conclusione, l'hotel è meraviglioso, ma se state pensando di mangiare al ristorante italiano, lo sconsiglierei vivamente, perché il trattamento e il denaro speso non ne hanno giustificato il prezzo.

It is perplexing that the Senior Management had breakfast at the same restaurant and didn't notice the depleted breakfast items. Speaks volumes on how high the guest ranks on their priority list.

UUtente ospiteFrom my experience at 4 different accommodations in the Jinjiang/Quanzhou area, I have come to learn that the cleanliness (or rather, lack thereof) at this hotel is typical of this area at this price range. So I don’t want to make it sound worse than it deserves.
That said, the first thing I saw when I entered the room was a gross-looking tangle of hair on the floor. I sent a WeChat message to the person managing it, and to their credit they were very apologetic and sent someone to clean it up, which they did (I was gone at the time). When I got back, though, I was disappointed that although that particular tangle of hair had been cleaned up, the rest of the floor still had visible dust and who-knows-what on it. I ended up seeing a broom and dustpan in the hallway against another door, and I decided to briefly borrow it and quickly sweep my own floor so I didn’t have to feel like it was gross. After that it was ok.
Also, there was a sort of dank, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which I believe is from the drain. The toilet is the kind that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down (instead put it in the bin next to the toilet), so it’s also possible the smell was the result of that system after the previous occupant’s stay. There is a water problem in the bathroom such that when you take a shower, water ends up sitting in a kind of puddle on the floor near the sink, so it’s hard for the bathroom to ever be entirely dry, which no doubt also adds to the difficulty of keeping the bathroom smelling fresh.
The room itself was big and included a washing machine, which was very helpful! There was a little kitchen area and a kettle and such. Water bottles were supplied every day. The bed was comfortable and clean.
There was a sofa and a coffee table, and another sort of recliner seat near the window. Unfortunately the coffee table looked dirty (some sort of sticky residue on it) from the last occupant, so I didn’t want to put anything on it.
The location is right next to the Jinjiang airport, which is of course convenient for arriving or departing by plane. Checkin was done via WeChat - I just told them I had arrived, and they sent me a code for the door. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived, but I can’t say for sure that no one is ever there. Possibly if I had waited longer someone would have come, I don’t know.
For all the negative comments I had above, I want to repeat what I stated at the beginning - this level of cleanliness is apparently fairly normal for this price range in this area. I still think more effort could and should be put into making it a cleaner and more inviting space for customers, and things like the standing water problem in the bathroom should be fixed to prevent mold growth and such, but it’s also possible I just need to suck it up and spend more money on a better hotel room if I feel that my standard of cleanliness is so important.

Un ringraziamento speciale a Polly, la governante dell'hotel, che ha consultato le nostre esigenze prima del check-in e ha prenotato una tipologia di camera che soddisfacesse le nostre esigenze. Dopo il check-in abbiamo anche offerto uno spuntino alla frutta ai bambini. Inizialmente avevamo programmato di rimanere per due notti, ma era abbastanza confortevole. La nostra ospite Polly ha prolungato il nostro soggiorno per un'altra notte, quindi siamo rimasti per tre notti. Quando visiti Fuzhou, puoi dare la priorità a Sandi Hilton.

DDaniel RodL'hotel è situato in una posizione abbastanza centrale nell'isola di Pingtan, in un piccolo villaggio. L'esterno è ben decorato con luci, e se arrivi a tarda notte come abbiamo fatto noi, lo ringrazierai, dato che brilla come un faro in una strada altrimenti non molto ben illuminata.
Il servizio ha brillato fin dall'inizio. Uno del personale era pronto ad aiutarci con i bagagli e a farci entrare, e non c'è stato alcun ritardo con la registrazione del mio passaporto (qualcosa che, come qualsiasi straniero che ha viaggiato nella Cina continentale, sarà in grado di capire, non è qualcosa dare per scontato), e subito è stato inserito su WeChat, dove durante tutto il viaggio sono stato aggiornato su tutto ciò che riguardava noi ospiti, dal momento in cui era pronta la colazione, al fatto che sarebbe rimasto un ospite con un cane in una stanza accanto alla nostra (alla quale si sono offerti di cambiarci se avessimo avuto bisogno nel caso qualcuno di noi fosse spaventato o allergico ai cani). La colazione veniva sempre tenuta calda per noi, anche quando scendevamo tardi e non ci aspettavamo che fosse lì, e in generale l'atteggiamento del personale era sempre quello che ti aspetteresti in un hotel più grande, più affermato (e più costoso), ma con un tocco di soggiorno in casa.
L'hotel non è molto vicino a nessun punto panoramico o destinazione turistica, ma offre un servizio di noleggio di biciclette elettriche che abbiamo utilizzato durante il viaggio e che consigliamo a chiunque soggiorni qui poiché toglie il trasporto dalla lista delle attrazioni cose a cui dovevamo pensare e ci ha permesso di sfruttare appieno la posizione centrale della locanda. Con 2 persone per bicicletta, andando molto a nord o a sud verso la città (a volte entrambi in un solo viaggio), non ci siamo mai avvicinati troppo per scaricare le batterie.
La camera era pulita, abbastanza grande e dato che eravamo all'ultimo piano e la nostra porta si apriva su un patio, molto ben ventilato. Anche il patio si è rivelato un bel posto dove sedersi, rilassarsi o mangiare, e ho potuto fare in modo che il lavoro che dovevo finire mi sentisse meno dolorante nel bel mezzo delle mie vacanze. Le uniche cose che aggiungerei o cambierei all'esperienza della stanza sono un posto dove appendere i vestiti (non c'erano armadi o cose del genere), la carta igienica (offrivano fazzoletti ma non danno la stessa sensazione quando vuoi , sai, tieni le mani pulite) e asciugamani veri (offrono asciugamani usa e getta, ma non sono la stessa cosa).
In conclusione, non solo ritornerei, ma lo farò sicuramente, dato che ho fatto un viaggio fantastico e questa locanda ha avuto un ruolo non trascurabile. Lo consiglierei al 100% se ti piace un'atmosfera meno rumorosa, più casalinga e non ti dispiace essere a pochi minuti di auto dalla città.

UUtente ospiteThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

It's the first time I encounter staff kept telling me my room is a ”special offer” room at check in process when I didn't ask anything about the room.
She was very friendly and even offered to usher us to our room. When we exit lift at level 9, she led us to a hidden stairs behind the lift. So no wonder she has to led us because the ”special offer” room was hidden.
The wall and corridor looked different from the normal rows of rooms from lift level.
When we went in the room, we realised it's very small but didn't immediately check trip.com photos and booking details. We put our bags and left quickly for dinner.
When we returned I don't think the room matched what I booked here so I went to the counter and inform the same staff. At this moment, I understand why she kept using the words ”special offer room” when I checked in.
Advertised pictures of the room type showed several different designs but all have space for table and chair.
The room given to me only has leg space around the double bed and a low cabinet (height of stool) near the door.
Shower and toilet are in the same space which means toilet will be wet when u shower. This room is 902.
At the counter, the staff said I should have rejected the room at first glance and she doesn't have other rooms which looked more like the advertised rooms because I rejected too late.
Her colleague besides her said the hotel has many different rooms. She said my room is ”special offer room” and they don't bother to look at my phone to see trip.com photos and listed space and furniture provided.
I made the colleague look at trip.com room photos and tell me the type of room they belong to. To my horror, the staff sad those are Yi yue rooms and not yi xin.
So I asked them if they are telling me that the hotel used yi yue room photos as advertisements to sell yi xin rooms. Then she became quiet and the girl suddenly has other room for me to change.
Although the new room (also level 9) still didn't have the table and chair as per listed in trip.com booking details and photos but at least it is far more decent.
Please be careful if you have already booked this hotel!

UUtente ospiteHad a good stay here. Its walking distance to the Zhongshan Road pedestrian street, in about 10 mins. Room is new and clean, giving us plenty of space to relax. Staff Wu Jin Xiu, who cleaned our room, made us a pair of towel bunnies to make us feel welcome. While the hotel is near to a ferry to Gulangyu island, do note that this ferry terminal does not allow foreigners to depart or land before 5.30 pm. Foreigners have to go to Dongdu Pier to access Gulangyu in the day
