This was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

Il proprietario del soggiorno di casa era molto gentile e ci ha condotto alla stazione di autobus, ci ha aiutato a comprare biglietti su WeChat/in-person, ha spiegato possibili rotte di cammino, e ci ha fornito una mappa conveniente con interessanti visibilità. La strada che aveva raccomandato era molto carina e scenica. La stanza era comoda, ed era molto rilassante guardare un film con il proiettore dopo la passeggiata. Puoi anche comprare cibo qui, che è conveniente e delizioso. Raccomando vivamente questo soggiorno a casa per il molto gentile, esperto e considerando il consiglio del proprietario che ha reso la nostra visita comoda e semplice.

Il popolo è nella zona paesaggistica di Zhuzga, molto vicino alla porta nord.Dopo avercela il primo giorno, abbiamo messo il bagaglio e andato alla zona paesaggistica per cena e vedere la performance notturna (fiori di fumo e fiori di ferro sono stati visti). La nostra stanza è anche molto buona, con le mutande e le mutande, tutti i bambini amano molto. La colazione è anche particolarmente apprezzata, è fatta ora da zia mattina.Soprattutto la carne di bovino, è deliziosa

Hotel al fondo di una valle con panorama molto bello. Design contemporaneo e di gusto. Pulitissimo, organizzatissimo. Grande disponibilità dello staff a gestire le nostre esigenze tramite comunicazioni via WeChat e anche nell'organizzazione delle attività e dei trasporti (con auto super confortevoli). Bellissima la stanza, i materiali, gli arredi, l'aria condizionata (indispensabile purtroppo perché faceva caldissimo). Vista rilassante dalle grandi vetrate verso le verdi montagne e il giardino. Due terrazze con arredi e in stanza ogni comfort. Ristorante molto piacevole e cucina ottima e abbordabile a livello di costi (abbiamo cenato). Molto piacevole anche il tè pomeridiano. C'è una sorta di piscina naturale sul torrente che è di pertinenza dell'hotel dove ci si può rinfrescare e fare piccoli giri con barchette di plastica. Poi sopra alla collinetta ci sono 2 vasche con acqua calda dove ci si può rilassare. C'è la palestra (che non abbiamo usato). Uniche 2 note leggermente negative: non abbiamo apprezzato la colazione cinese (non perché volessimo altro ma perché non era delle migliori). Infine la strada che porta all'hotel è davvero brutta panoramicamente e degradata non adeguata anche perché fino a che non si arriva all'hotel non si capisce cosa aspettarsi.

Il servizio è stato eccellente; dal personale addetto all'accoglienza a quello della reception, tutti si sono sentiti come a casa. Anche la colazione era abbondante. Quando ci sono andato, non c'era molta gente e il personale della reception mi ha aiutato a ottenere un upgrade, ma si trattava di una camera esposta a nord. Il principale svantaggio era che le camere esposte a nord avevano un forte odore di muffa. La camera era molto pulita e ci hanno persino fornito un pigiama e un diffusore di aromi particolare. La posizione è davvero ottima. Il personale ha accennato a dei lavori di ristrutturazione previsti per il prossimo settembre. L'hotel offre un servizio di massaggi ai piedi, ma il cartello non era molto visibile; l'ho notato solo in camera, dopo aver terminato il massaggio all'esterno.

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The facilities and location are top notch. We were within 10 minutes of everything. The breakfast buffet was great. It could benefit from more fresh fruit options. The lobby lounge tea is fantastic. We spent every morning overlooking the garden sipping fantastic tea from all over China. The laundry service was timely and well packaged although a little pricey. Overall, the only place to stay in Hefei.
