Svizzera: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Canton Lucerna

La stanza è grande e pulita, anche la colazione è molto ricca. Sceglierò di venire qui la prossima volta per la mia luna di miele. Sono molto felice di dire che il tempo a volte non è così bello ed è nuvoloso e soleggiato il giorno dopo ci sarà il sole.

Innanzitutto, la posizione non è troppo lontana dalla stazione ferroviaria di Lucerna. Avendo lo Swiss Pass, abbiamo potuto prendere gratuitamente l'autobus per una fermata. Scendendo, bastava attraversare la strada e girare a sinistra per arrivare. Il trasporto è molto comodo, con diverse linee di autobus che passano di lì, e il Ponte della Cappella è raggiungibile a piedi. L'hotel ci ha fatto un upgrade a una camera doppia deluxe, che era molto più spaziosa. Non ci siamo sentiti affatto stretti con i bagagli, la camera era pulita e ogni giorno venivano fornite due grandi bottiglie d'acqua, il che risolveva il problema dell'acqua potabile. Tutto era eccellente, l'unico motivo per cui non ho dato il massimo dei voti è che, come altri hanno già menzionato, sono state addebitate tasse extra. All'inizio la reception è stata piuttosto cortese, ma quando ho mostrato loro la prenotazione, indicando che le tasse sulla prenotazione erano diverse da quelle effettivamente pagate, hanno guardato per un po' e poi mi hanno risposto in modo piuttosto scocciato 'I don't know'. Alla fine, ho contattato il servizio clienti di Ctrip, che mi ha risposto di aver contattato l'hotel ma che non era possibile negoziare. Alla fine, il servizio clienti di Ctrip ha detto che avrebbero compensato la differenza con dei punti e che sarebbero arrivati rapidamente. Per questo, Ctrip merita un plauso. Questo problema delle tasse è stato sollevato da molte persone, e non so dove sia il problema. In altri hotel in Svizzera le tasse venivano addebitate esattamente come indicato nella prenotazione, solo in questo hotel era diverso. Anche se non era una grande somma, è comunque un po' fastidioso. Inoltre, qualcuno ha menzionato prima che viene richiesto un deposito di 100 franchi svizzeri al giorno, ed è vero. Al momento del check-out ho chiesto specificamente quando sarebbe stato restituito, e la reception ha risposto lo stesso giorno, ed è stato effettivamente restituito lo stesso giorno. A Lucerna c'è un ristorante cinese chiamato No.8 che serve un'ottima cucina cinese, perfettamente in linea con i gusti cinesi, e la proprietaria è anche molto gentile e cortese.

La camera dell'hotel è grande e nuova, arredata secondo gli standard domestici di un quattro stelle. Il servizio alla reception è molto buono e in camera vengono fornite gratuitamente 2 bottiglie di acqua pura, nonché una macchina per il caffè e caffè in capsule ad uso gratuito. L'hotel ha una posizione eccellente, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e dal molo di Lucerna. L'effetto di insonorizzazione della stanza è molto buono e nel corridoio non si sentono voci nella stanza. Durante l'alta stagione turistica il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è molto buono rispetto ad altri hotel a Lucerna. La particolarità per i turisti cinesi è che oltre a molte prese standard svizzere nella stanza c'è anche una presa target con spine di conversione standard europee, il che è molto comodo! Viaggiare in più paesi in Europa può essere fatto con una sola presa...

C'è acqua calda gratuita 24 ore su 24, c'è un supermercato con prezzi speciali in isolamento e viene fornita la cena. Ci vogliono 10 minuti per andare alla Stazione Centrale ed è facile raggiungere tutti i punti panoramici. Ma la cosa più bella è che il bagno e il bagno non sono chiusi a chiave.

The check-in process was really difficult. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM. The self check-in machine couldn’t find our booking. We called for help and talked on the phone for a long time, but still couldn’t check in. Luckily (and unluckily), some other guests arrived and had the same problem. Because there were more of us, finally a male staff member agreed to come and check the machine. This staff member kept saying it was our fault – that we entered our name wrong, or that we mixed up the first name and last name. He insisted the machine had worked fine for six months and couldn’t be broken. We tried different combinations of our names many times, but nothing worked. He tried too – and when it still didn’t work, he finally admitted the machine was the problem. Around 11:30 PM, we finally entered the rooms. The next day, after we explained everything, the very friendly and polite ladies at the front desk kindly gave us a 10% discount. Most things about the hotel were great, and the front desk ladies were super helpful. We fully understand that technical problems happen sometimes, and waiting 2.5 hours to check in was also okay for us. We doNOT blame anyone or anything for that. But what we couldn’t understand was how the staff member insisted it was our fault and how he did NOT believe anything we said, and his attitude was a bit rude when we tried to explain that it wasn’t our fault.

This hotel of Luzern boasts an exceptional location. It’s a convenient walk from the train station even with luggage. Getting to the area’s major attractions is easy. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The rooms are very clean and offer nice city views. Highly recommended—great choice for your stay.

Facile da trovare l'hotel in quanto è vicino alla stazione ferroviaria di Matternhorn (meno di 100 m) che è vicina alla stazione ferroviaria principale di Lucerna (2 fermate). L'hotel è pulito, la receptionist è disponibile e ci ha permesso di fare il check-in anticipato dopo che ci siamo uniti al membro IHG (FOC). La colazione era ok (nessuna colazione asiatica). C'è un supermercato, Subway, McDonald ecc. intorno all'hotel.

Location: The hotel is well located, approximately a 9-minute walk from the nearest station, which made getting around convenient. Room & Housekeeping: The room was clean and well maintained throughout my 4-night stay, which I appreciated. However, the minibar was not refilled during the entire stay, which was disappointing and not what I would expect given the price paid. Staff & Service: Unfortunately, the service experience was inconsistent. The front desk staff appeared inexperienced and unsure about basic matters such as payment handling and invoicing, which caused unnecessary confusion. It felt as though the staff member may have been an intern without adequate supervision or training. More concerning was the overall attitude at the counter, which came across as rude and unwelcoming. I sincerely hope this was not a case of discrimination, but the interaction especially with the man staff did not reflect the level of hospitality expected. Value for Money: While the hotel positioned itself as high-end in design, the service and experience felt surprisingly basic. For the price charged, it did not offer good value and did not meet the standards. Overall: Although the location and cleanliness were positives, the service shortcomings and lack of value significantly affected the overall experience

Hotel was located near the Lucerne station and easily accessible. Also a short walk to chapel bridge and old town. There is a dining area where you can have your meals and also provides coffee and tea 24/7. However, the television does not have any English channels and the tap water is cold. There is hot water for bathing but it doesn’t last long.
