Three Worlds, One Italy

Rome was a vibrant time capsule. The sheer amount of history packed into the city was overwhelming in the best way. Walking through the Roman Forum and imagining the grandeur of ancient Rome was humbling. The Colosseum was as majestic as I’d hoped, and of course, no visit would be complete without tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain (because yes, I do want to return someday). The whole city felt alive—history and modern life blending seamlessly. Florence, on the other hand, had this artistic and romantic vibe. The Duomo was breathtaking, with its intricate marble façade and massive dome that dominates the cityscape. Wandering through the Uffizi Gallery and seeing works by Michelangelo and Botticelli felt surreal. But my favorite part? Climbing up to Piazzale Michelangelo and catching the sunset over the red rooftops. Florence felt intimate and timeless. Milan was a completely different energy—modern, fast-paced, and stylish. The Duomo di Milano was absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t get enough of its detailed spires. Strolling through the nearby Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with its luxurious shops and cafés, felt like stepping into a fashion dream. Milan is where history meets sleek modernity, and it’s perfect for architecture and design lovers. Each city brought something unique to my Europe trip, from Rome’s history to Florence’s art to Milan’s style.
