The Balinese experience

Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, gets its name from the Sanskrit word for "temple." It's a tropical sanctuary dedicated to the self. The hotel, which is located in the Ubud jungle and fronts the Ayung River, is designed to look like a typical Balinese town, complete with working rice farms. Each of the 60 luxury apartments and villas includes a private outdoor space (some with pools) with views of the river or surrounding scenery, showcasing the area's architecture and craftsmanship.
