We usually perform Umrah every year and stayed in multiple hotels in the past near haram but this time staying at swisstel Al Maqam Hotel was excellent. Never had an experience of stay like this before. Decided to stay always in the same hotel when ever will come to perform Umrah again.

The hotel is outstanding for those traveling for Umrah. Check-in experience was excellent, Riham answered our questions regarding the stay and gave us a room on high floor. We booked a room with partial Haram view, and it did not disappoint. The room itself is spacious, bathroom is clean, with separate basin for washing feet etc. If you’re tired after Umrah, 24/7 room service can deliver food to your room, although a bit pricey. Concierge service was excellent, Basir helped us store our luggage after we checked out, so we picked it up after few hrs. Definitely recommend!

Mi è piaciuto il mio soggiorno, la stanza era grande con un paio di divani su cui rilassarsi, una scrivania e una sedia comoda. Acqua, bollitore, tè/caffè disponibili in camera gratuitamente. Anche il bagno è grande e pulito con gel doccia e dispenser di shampoo. Ci sono 6 ascensori, quindi non c'è quasi attesa per l'arrivo. Il personale è accomodante, disponibile e flessibile. Si impegnano al massimo per assicurarsi che tu sia soddisfatto del loro servizio. Ogni richiesta viene gestita prontamente. Un soggiorno piacevole, grazie a tutti i membri dello staff.

Totally lovely stay with warm and helpful hotel staffs! Always willing to lend a helping hand whenever approaching them! Easy walking distance to Masjidil Haram. Everything is at the doorsteps. Lovely view of Masjidil Haram day and night! Literally out of the window! Easy access to food and amenities! Best breakfast served daily with change of meals daily and huge area to cater to huge crowds! Would definitely return back here!! Thank you all for the amazing hospitality!

Se stai cercando un hotel economico a 4 stelle, non cercare da nessuna parte. Questo è il meglio che puoi ottenere. Hanno un servizio di bus navetta gratuito che parte ogni mezz'ora. Ti lascia a Marwa Gate. Devi camminare per 10-15 minuti per raggiungere Haram. Ti verranno a prendere dallo stesso posto. Non ho avuto alcun problema con il servizio di bus navetta. Il servizio navetta era abbastanza buono. L'unico inconveniente è camminare verso l'haram. Avevo mio figlio con me e ogni volta faticava a camminare. Il cibo per l'hotel è peggio. Non mi è piaciuto affatto. Ho fatto colazione a buffet e ho pagato 100 riyal. È stata un'esperienza gastronomica peggiore. La scelta per la colazione era molto limitata. Nel complesso è un buon hotel economico. Immagino che tu debba scendere a compromessi da qualche parte.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. It’s a value for money option… Rooms are not very big but well-planned and good for a several-day stay. It’s clean, well-maintained, and also offers a very good breakfast buffet. However, the selection of the complimentary drinks -tea and coffee bags are switched to brands that I have never heard of. Paper tea cups are also the cheapest you can find on the market. They provide only one type of soap inside separate hand, body, and shampoo dispensers. I understand that we are going through difficult times, but I think keeping the quality at certain levels is also important.

My 12 days stay at Jumeira Jabal Omar in Makkah was exceptional. The room service by Rovel was outstanding—efficient and thoughtful—and the reception staff went above and beyond by assisting with baggage and even offering change for my taxi fare without prompting. The hotel exemplifies luxury, comfort, and impeccable attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary hospitality experience in Makkah

Very good hotel with comfortable amenities, but it is not within walking distance to Al Haram in Makkah. A shuttle bus is available, which helps with transportation. The staff experience was mixed — the male front desk team could benefit from significant customer service training, as their approach felt a bit aggressive and lacked warmth. In contrast, the female staff members were much more professional and caring. I especially want to highlight a lady in niqab who assisted us with booking a car from the hotel to the train station. She went above and beyond, refusing to leave after her shift had ended and staying to ensure we secured the car on time. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but she was truly outstanding! One disappointment was with the connected rooms — unlike the photos, they did not feature king beds. Instead, we received four single beds (two in each room), which was not ideal for a small family. Overall, it was a good stay, but the hotel should improve cleanliness and maintenance. Despite being a relatively new property, it was clear that facilities management and housekeeping standards could be much better.
