Facilities are good. Bed is nice. Snacks that can be purchased inside the room are just Pringles and Pilipit. Outside food is not allowed in the resort. If this is the case, they have to ensure that they can feed everyone and provide us with a lot of choices. Unfortunately, they only have 3 restaurants which cannot accommodate all the people they let inside the resort. Food is hit or miss. Due to the so many people, quality of food suffers. Aside from having fully booked rooms, there are people who also got in for day tours.The pool for the suites at the uppermost level turned GRAY last Thursday. Good thing we had another room in the executive suite so we used the other pool. Although I must say that there are notable people like the concierge who helped my mom when she got stuck outside her room and opened her room for her. There’s also the waiter named AL from Haribar who made sure my sister’s pizza got to her and asked people from Bistro if we can eat it at the executive pool because we couldn’t stay in the other pool anymore because it was so murky. He also reserved us a table for dinner and had our food ready by the time we got there. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to eat on time on that day. There’s also the housekeeping staff who turned the bed for us and gave “towel animals” for my son. My son loved it so much, he kept the “sticker eyes” and he put it on his cellphone as a remembrance. Generally the housekeeping made a good impression on us. They clean our rooms twice a day and they give complimentary 2 pieces of puto or revel bars or maja mais. I also cannot forget the person who made sure my son’s burger and fries gets to our room in less than an hour. Average time for food is 55 minutes to an hour or worse, it doesn’t arrive at all. Imagine we stayed there for 5 days! If we didn’t have to ask some of these staff, we wouldn’t be able to eat properly. There was even a time we paid for another table’s bill. If we didn’t order additional ice cream, we would have never found out that we paid for somebody else’s bill! They fixed it and said sorry but that was it. Imagine we were eating there for 5 consecutive days 2X a day at least but they never gave us any complimentary stuff for the mess that they made. The transport service was always full that we had to assert ourselves so that other rude people who cut in line won’t get ahead of us. The staff can’t even control the people. They need to be able to have protocols in place to handle such situations. Out of frustration we didn’t want to add to the stress on the staff so we just got umbrellas and we just walked all the way to the port and we totally skipped the van from the welcome center. Even when we were about to leave, the staff said she would just call us when it is our turn but when we looked again she left and there were other people in line already. My husband had to ask another staff to put as in line even when we already signed the boat manifest ahead of the people in line. He had to ask them again to put our luggage in line. Unfortunately, they still forgot our luggage so we had to wait for them at the port.Also, we tried calling for a buggy to help us with the luggage from our room but no one was answering so we just did it ourselves. The beach was fine too. It had a lot of fishes and starfishes. Sand is not as fine as Boracay but clean. The water sports activities had a reasonable price point. My nephew and niece had a great time with the jetski. But towels are always running out. We had to look for them all the time even in the pool area and at the beach. So what was meant to be a relaxing week for us turned out to be a bit stressful at times. But overall, it was disappointing because I expected too much since they said it is the only 5 star luxury resort in Mindanao. I booked at Discovery Samal to give it a chance but I am sorry to say that I won’t be coming back.
Clean and nice hotel! Located 15mins away from Davao international/domestic airport! SM Lanang Mall is just a 7mins walk away. There's a UCC cafe just across the road.
I like it is in the center of the tagum city, walking distance In the park and not crowded, walking distance yo the Gisano mall and there's have a night market
Era un albergo di lunga tradizione, ma sembra che sia stato rinnovato in alcuni punti. Il ristorante è bellissimo. Stile buffet. Dato che mio figlio era stanco, abbiamo cenato in camera, ma il ristorante era pieno e ci è voluto un bel po' mentre per parlare al telefono. La camera era una grande camera familiare e, per qualche motivo, poteva ospitare 4 adulti e c'erano due letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in modo diverso. Ci sono molti servizi, tra cui asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani. C'era una vasca da bagno e i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno, ma ci volevano 30 minuti perché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era confortevole con due nuovi condizionatori installati.

Mio figlio si è stancato, quindi ho rinunciato a mangiare al ristorante e ho cenato in camera, ma ho dovuto aspettare più di un'ora perché non riuscivo a prendere il telefono. Scegli una tipologia di camera familiare per 2 adulti e 1 bambino (3 anni). Per qualche motivo, c'erano abbastanza servizi per 4 adulti, asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani per 4 persone e 2 letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in un modo diverso. Anche se era poco profondo, c'era una vasca da bagno, così i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno. Tuttavia, ho aspettato più di 30 minuti affinché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era comodo con due nuovi condizionatori d'aria. Se vuoi mangiare a buon mercato, Foodpanda offre anche servizi di consegna. È bello uscire, ma i gas di scarico sono terribili. Ho pensato che fosse un ottimo affare in quanto il costo totale era di poco più di 10.000 yen con colazione a buffet inclusa, check-in dalle 14:00 al check-out alle 12:00.
We regularly stay here at the Royal Mandaya when we go to Davao City. It is just very convenient for us. The rooms are spacious, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is very nice. The parking facility is safe and covered in the basement. The hotel is undergoing renovation, so are some rooms. This is needed as some of the interior is not up to date anymore. Staff are extremely friendly and supportive (we have a newborn baby). I can recommend the hotel as it is really situated very centrally and value for money is great .
The hotel was easy to locate and conveniently located. There’s a mall nearby which is linked via a bridge to the mall for convenience to the guests. Room was clean and well equipped and I love the effort the hotel puts in on being more environmentally friendly. They cut down on plastic by providing carafe for water and water dispensers were readily available outside the rooms too.

La stanza è spaziosa e confortevole, ho sentito solo che alcune aree potrebbero essere un po' più pulite, perché ci sono cibo crollati dispersi intorno al desk.
Forse era pulito in fretta, perché dimenticarono di mettere la tovagliola, ma l'ho presa dopo una richiesta.
Nel bagno c'è acqua calda, ma solo sapone e shampoo duro disponibili, nessun gel di doccia corporeo.
Preparatevi a avere 500 pesos per il deposito chiave, ma anche, erano flessibili quando ho detto che sto lasciando il paese, e preferirei non avere un saldo in contanti (non fate il mio errore, dovete ancora pagare la tassa terminale aeroportuale in contanti - 784 pesos!).
Ho deciso di spendere le mie ultime banconote per il cibo.Francamente, il negozio nell'edificio dell'hotel è così costoso che ho preferito camminare 5 minuti indietro verso la città, e ho comprato alcuni snack al 7/11, molto più conveniente.
Puoi comprare aghi e farli con acqua calda dal corridoio dell'hotel, e anche la stanza è dotata di un riscaldatore d'acqua (per il caffè istantaneo), ma dovresti portare acqua potabile. Beh, ci sono stati anche noodles immediati offerti nella stanza, ma non ho visto gli utensili disponibili (spazzo, forca, o qualcosa del genere).
YYkhca_TravelsAbbiamo apprezzato la nostra permanenza nel cuore della città, e io e il mio partner abbiamo avuto un servizio eccellente, soprattutto quando si è verificato un incidente che ci ha costretto a visitare l'ospedale. Il personale ha collaborato eccezionalmente per fornire una relazione di incidenti, che ha contribuito incredibilmente al nostro processo di rimborso delle assicurazioni.
Mentre l'hotel è un po' più vecchio e le strutture possono essere migliorate, mi sentivo ancora molto comodo durante il nostro soggiorno.
Raccomando questo posto.

UUtente ospiteEverything was good. The staff are very kind. When I checked in the hotel, I left the hiking stick at the bottom of the desk. It was not 10 minutes before I was given back the stick. The feelings I have during the stay are coziness and peacefulness. It has a very beautiful beach and swimming pool. It will be a good option if you're scheduled to spend a couple of days in Davao.
