This place is awesome!! I can feel that a lot of thought has been put in when they came up with services/things the hotel guests might like to have eg extensively long hrs for public bath, free ramen for supper, free icecream after bath, free yakult kinda drink for morning, massage chair, manga comic books to read, free dessert and water in fridge in room ….and the hotel is close to merikan park as well as train station! Absolutely loved my stay!

One of the best experiences in my life. The view from the windows is incredible. Kaiseki dinner was awesome (requires booking in advance, though).
Modern yet real onsen.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful.
The only problem: bad private bath condition. But nothing critical.

Vicino al luogo, ma un po' lontano dalla stazione. Ci sono 2 grandi centri vicino all'hotel. La vista è estremamente grande vista sul mare e il prezzo è ragionevole. Tuttavia, nessuno risponde al mio servizio in camera.

This is a five star hotel in a three star body. Rooms are TINY, like scandanavian homes, but everything was clean and fresh, staff were outstanding, we could store out bags before and after our stay, missing personal articles available for free downstairs. Clear rooftop vie of the castle so you don't have to leave the hotel for beutiful shots of the castle. Near a huge gorgeous, covered pedetrian only walking are. Only sorry to have had only one night here.

L'hotel è molto vicino alla stazione, a pochi minuti di distanza. Il punto forte è che è economico e include colazione e cena. I pasti sono a prezzo fisso, con due opzioni: menu fisso con riso al curry e menu fisso con pollo fritto. All'inizio ero un po' titubante a prenotare, ma ho pensato di provarlo visto che è solo per un giorno... Ho incontrato molti studenti delle elementari e delle superiori.

First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

Camera spaziale, comoda letto di dimensioni reali, personale amichevole, splendide viste sul mare, caffè gratuito, microonde e forno (fornito di cucina), lavanderia. Ottenere un po' di senbei quando hai completato un sondaggio prima di check-out, sicuramente rimanere in questo hotel quando torni ad Awaji.

Il luogo è conveniente, a un minuto dalla stazione ferroviaria, c'è un piccolo negozio di comodità sotto.
Servizio, educato, praticamente in giapponese, servitore inglese, non c'è problema di comunicazione, diversi ventilatori privati sono completi e puliti, e la zona di riposo ha acqua pulita e neve gratuita.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Meriken Park, making it ideal for a relaxing stroll or sightseeing. It also provides a shuttle service to and from Sannomiya. Do note that the pick-up and drop-off points are at different locations, and the shuttle bus departs punctually.

NNuneChangCommunication with the hotel before arriving in Japan was nearly impossible. Once you are in Japan, if you use a local phone to call the hotel, they can provide information about where they can pick you up if you are traveling by bus. Apart from that, the service and facilities were excellent. The hotel provided a mobile phone that you could use to call them for pick-up at any time and from any location in the Nijigen no Mori area. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

UUtente ospiteOur favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. ＜3

Особенным плюсом для нас было, что в рекане разрешается проживание для гостей с татуировками.
Огромное вам спасибо за ваше гостеприимство! В следующеем нашем путешествии обязательно остановимся здесь снова 🤗

PpepperjitwiIl letto singolo dovrebbe essere alto 1,2 metri, non 0,8 metri. È molto vicino alla stazione e il lato strada è quasi completamente ombreggiato. C'è un'area relax comune al primo piano con bevande disponibili. È tranquillo e ben insonorizzato. La camera era anche abbastanza pulita e dotata di vari utensili e attrezzature self-service, cosa che ho apprezzato molto. È anche molto vicino al centro commerciale vicino alla stazione, con diversi buoni ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Ottimo! La reception è stata molto veloce e disponibile.

Плюсы:
1. Великолепные номера в стиле классического рекана: все очень красивое, аутентичное, масса мелких деталей, записок и подсказок для гостей, интересных безделушек в номере. У нас были кровати, а не футоны, но минусом это никак не назвать - кровати удобнейшие. Вид из номера (3 этаж) - на горы. Чистота идеальная, в номере есть все, что должно быть в номере классического рекана: от татами, до низкого столика для отдыха.
2. Бесподобный ужин кайсеки. Великолепный завтрак сукияки (готовишь себе сам).
3. Красивейшие интерьеры отеля, по нему интересно гулять, изучая его изнутри. Отель красивый снаружи тоже.
4. В номерах можно курить (мы этого не делали, да и номера не прокуренные совершенно). Есть курилка при входе в отель.
5. Чудесный персонал. Все просьбы и жалобы удовлетворяются за минуты. Плохо говорят на английском, но это не беда, общались через переводчик. Ребята классные, веселые. Быстрый чек-ин, куча напоминалок по поводу того, куда и во-сколько приходить / что и как правильно делать.
6. Есть приватный онсен (мы не пользовались).
7. Дают беспланый пропуск в 7 общественных онсенов. Дают скидки на сувениры.
8. Дают отличные юкаты для онсенов, для женщин - дадут красивые, выбор огромный.
Нюансы:
1. Единственный минус отеля - удаленность от центра Киносаки (15-20 минут ходьбы по не слишком красивым местам). Но! Есть бесплатный трансфер от отеля до центра города, плюс есть трансфер вокзал-отель-вокзал. Да и ходьба от отеля до центра Киносаки нас особо не напрягала.
2. Это не бизнес-отель, поэтому ни стиралки, ни утюга, ни душа в номере нет. Душ (а по факту - онсен) общий на минус первом этаже - отдельный для мужчин и женщин.

Review:
I recently stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kobe Sannomiya. While the hardware of the hotel is good, certain policies and service gaps significantly impacted the comfort of my stay.
On the positive side, the hygiene standards here are excellent. The room was spotless and very modern, which is always the most critical factor for me when traveling. I also want to express my appreciation for the luggage keeping arrangement. Being able to store my bags securely and easily both before check-in and after check-out was a huge help, allowing me to explore Kobe freely without the burden of heavy luggage.
However, international travelers need to be aware of a major caveat: this is a strictly ”cashless” hotel. I attempted to pay with cash to avoid bank fees, but was refused. I was forced to use my VISA card, which meant I was hit with foreign transaction and exchange fees that amounted to roughly an extra 5% cost on my trip. I found this policy very rigid and frustrating for guests who prefer using cash.
Furthermore, the in-room amenities and service were disappointing. Guests should know that the rooms are completely bare of essentials—there are no razors, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided in the room. Realizing this late at night caused unnecessary trouble. Additionally, the housekeeping service lacked attention to detail; even though my Yukata (sleepwear) was clearly used and left out to be changed, the staff did not replace it with a fresh one.
Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn offers a very clean environment, but the lack of basic in-room amenities and the strict payment policy make it difficult for me to fully recommend it to travelers trying to manage their budget and convenience.

UUtente ospiteMy non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Fortunately the staff were exceptional, and I soon received another room.
One staff told me that because the room was ”Japanese Style”, and that I had to take the bedding from the closet, move the low table and make up my own futon.
I live in Japan and I know what a ”Japanese Style” room is. Ryokans of a good grade will have staff make up the futons. When a hotel is too large, the work of making up the futons for all rooms becomes onerous, however, one wonders why ”five star hotel” if one has to make up one's own futon AND receive education on what a ”Japanese Style” room entails [ I am in the hotel business].
The lobby is bleak and looks cheap. No style, no charm. The seating is ugly and cheap. There are real plants here and there but no cut flowers. Cut flowers are very expensive in Japan. Too expensive for this hotel.
The final point is that I booked this specific hotel in order to take a swim. Although the weather was fine, the pool had closed the day before I arrived. The pool was still full of water, perfect and peaceful, but ”closed”. No doubt, this saves on staff and other expenses, in the same way that making up one's own futon does . . . all this is fine for a hostel, but not for a luxury hotel.
I have been generous with my star-giving because I like to be kind, and because several of the staff were truly exceptional in their kindness and service, however, we hope that the management will note our comments. Please pay for more staff and please keep your pool open as long as the weather permits. Global warming means pools can stay open longer. :-)
