Indonesia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Isole Riau

Potrebbe essere un 5 stelle, ma per ora mi sembra più un 4 o 4,5 stelle. Lasciatemi spiegare. Prima di tutto, ci sono molti vantaggi davvero notevoli per il Nirwana Resort: - L'hotel è in una posizione meravigliosa. La spiaggia proprio di fronte all'hotel è bellissima, tuttavia, se esplorate un po' più a fondo, la spiaggia proprio accanto (collegata ad alcune mini-case in affitto) fa anch'essa parte dell'area Nirwana ed è ancora più pulita e invitante per una nuotata diretta. - La camera era persino più bella di quanto mi aspettassi dalle foto. Tutto era arredato con gusto, pulito e il servizio in camera faceva un ottimo lavoro ogni giorno. L'hotel in sé ha circa 35 anni, è molto vicino al mare ed è costantemente esposto ai venti salmastri. È semplicemente incredibile che siano riusciti a mantenere i corridoi aperti in così ottime condizioni. Ci sono molti elementi in legno (che a mio parere sono davvero belli). - Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Troverete molte attività se è questo che vi interessa. Ora passiamo alla parte un po' neutra: alcuni servizi dell'hotel non erano disponibili durante il nostro soggiorno. Ad esempio, per raggiungere la palestra bisognava spostarsi in un altro edificio a poche centinaia di metri di distanza. C'è comunque tutto il necessario, quindi non è propriamente una lamentela, ma più una questione di comodità, ma dato che tutta la zona circostante è piuttosto bella, consiglierei comunque di esplorare un po'. I due principali fattori negativi sono stati: - È un resort molto appartato e non c'è un supermercato normale o qualcosa di simile nelle vicinanze per le necessità quotidiane di base come acqua o altro. Questo significa che dovrete pagare cifre esorbitanti. 1 litro d'acqua costa oltre 100.000 rupie, ovvero circa 7-8 dollari. Una bottiglietta di Coca-Cola costa circa 3,5 dollari. Lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri snack, bevande e cibo. Sono molto costosi, semplicemente perché non si ha scelta. Un altro esempio: una pizza + un hamburger ”gourmet” costavano quasi 50 dollari. Non mi lamenterei nemmeno se fosse davvero ”gourmet”. Tuttavia, non ci si avvicina nemmeno: si possono mangiare entrambi, non è terribile ma è molto semplice, la pizza è troppo secca e un po' piccola, l'hamburger è il più noioso che abbia mai mangiato da anni e la carne non è affatto un granché. Lo stesso vale per tutto il resto del cibo che abbiamo provato nel ristorante interno. Non è male, ma ogni piatto sembra un po' fuori posto, mancante o semplicemente molto semplice. Soprattutto per il prezzo elevato che si paga, questo non sembra giusto. Ci sono altri due ristoranti a circa 1 km a piedi: un ristorante indiano. I prezzi sono un po' alti, ma più ragionevoli rispetto al ristorante interno. Il pollo tandoori era troppo speziato (non piccante, solo troppo forte, senza nulla che lo completasse) e molto secco/noioso. Il famigerato pollo al burro era ottimo, invece. Consiglierei il ”ristorante piccante” (4 stelle), ma assicuratevi di prendere qualcosa con la salsa. E poi c'è un ristorante di pesce. È davvero costoso (soprattutto se paragonato al pesce di Batam, per esempio), ma offre un'incredibile selezione di pesce/granchi/gamberi freschi e ben conditi che vale assolutamente la pena di andarci. Anche la vista è fantastica. In realtà darei a tutta questa esperienza 5 stelle: se si potessero avere le cose essenziali (acqua, Coca-Cola, qualche piccolo spuntino) a un prezzo ragionevole, al momento questa parte sembra un po' una fregatura. Inoltre, il servizio taxi locale è un po' troppo caro, lo stesso vale per le attività. Non mi dispiace spendere di più, ma ci deve essere un equilibrio per non sentirsi sfruttati. Se questo non vi interessa, consiglio vivamente il soggiorno al Nirwana Hotel.

La camera è pulita. Siamo venuti per il nostro anniversario e al check-in ci hanno offerto un upgrade a una camera deluxe. Ottima e abbondante colazione a buffet... Speriamo che in futuro l'hotel si ingrandisca e aggiunga una piscina per più ospiti.

Cleanliness - 4/5 - Our room was clean on arrival and the staff were very quick in making up the room upon request. However, my parents room had a musty aroma so I think they could have done better with the smell of the room. Location - 5/5 - Honestly the ONLY good thing about this hotel is the beach. We stayed on a very busy bank holiday weekend and most people were using the pool, I was surprised at how few people were in the sea because honestly it is one of the most beautiful beaches for swimming I've ever been to. I've been to many beaches across south east Asia but there are always some negatives like sharp coral or crowds, but this beach had none of that. You could go out really far, the water was really warm and it was safe for swimming. I highly recommend this beach. Service - 1/5 - Now we get to the negatives of the hotel, and I want to say before I start that the staff were all incredibly friendly and really did try their best to make us feel welcomed. However, meal times are an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. The breakfast buffet was always crowded and every day there was a queue to enter the breakfast. There was never enough cutlery or bowls for food so you are always struggling to find them and frequently have to ask the staff who are rushed off their feet. All the coffee machines were broken for our entire stay so we had to ask staff to make coffee for us every time. At lunch and dinner there are both a la carte and buffet options. We had full board, which honestly felt like being treated as peasants. When they hear you want to use the meal voucher, there's a certain expression on some of the staff's faces. Some of the restaurants will also be reserved for paying customers without warning so you are not able to eat there, despite having paid for your meals in advance. Despite some of the staff being absolutely amazing and super friendly, some were incredibly inefficient. One lunch time we waited 2 hours for service and we were told they forgot our order. Additionally, some staff write your order on scraps of paper and don't have proper writing pads and pens to record orders correctly. When one staff member wrote down our order, he couldn't repeat it back to us because he couldn't understand what he had written, he was writing on the back of a crumpled up receipt. Not professional. Amenities - 2/5 - Although I would say the pool and gym are great, the quality of the food here is just so poor and meal times are so chaotic, I cannot give more than 2/5 for this one.

What's bad: cleanliness of the room was not great, it smelled a bit... funny? But i was fine with it cos i didn't stay much in the hotel. Room lights are warm and dim so it may be a bit spooky for some but we were fine with it. Breakfast spread were limited and cold. What's okayish: location is strategic within batam centre, going to the ferry terminal is very near. This is the only hotel i can find that is able to fit 3 pax in a room (1 twin and 1 single bed) so it great for small friends group. What's great: hotel room is very affordable. Also, there are eateries nearby within walking distance, including popular coffee places, breakfast and lunch places. There are also a few shopping malls nearby with great food veriety. And most importantly the hotel staffs were very friendly and provided great assistance to my queries. This is the best highlight of the stay. Verdict: if you dont stay in the hotel much, i think this hotel will do the job just fine.

We had a tremendous vacation even for short ones. We booked for 2 nights but the experience was awesome. They arranged my son's birthday with decorating the room.We got to tour the engine rooms and the entire ship hotel Tuti the staff hotel was very helpful . And the restaurant staff too.. And managed to meet the owner of the hotel Mr Eric as we were recommended by his son Daryl. Will definitely come again . Thank you for the experience.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione conveniente - a piedi dal centro commerciale, dai centri alimentari e da molti locali stazioni/mercati.. anche vari spa di massaggio intorno all'hotel (fino al più vicino alle 11 pm). Il colazione dell'hotel è molto vario e la famiglia ha goduto della maggior parte dei piatti.Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, ma consiglia di aereo la camera un po', perché le camere possono sentirsi un po' stufate. La squadra di servizio è amichevole e sincera, con un sorriso felice 😃 .

Everything is good, we went there for 4 days 3 night, they gave us 3 days Starbuck voucher, the location is the best to us as we like Grand Batam Mall alot, just 3 to 5mins to walk there, the food is also quite nice to us

Decent hotel at a very strategic location. Many surrounding facilities like coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, convenient stores, bakeries, massage parlours, KTVs, and etc. Nearby a large food court called A2 Food Court and shopping malls like Grand Batam Mall and Batam City Square Mall. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Standard room amenities. Lobby looks newly renovated. I believe some further renovation on going for breakfast restaurant and other parts of the hotel. Staffs are helpful like security guy helping with our luggage and receptionist keep us inform as soon as room available for early check-in. Overall, value for money accomodation.

Overall I would say, for the price I pay, I can't complain much. Massage wise was quite good and it is 24hrs so can't complain.. up to standard, service is up to point as well. It is near two shopping malls, BCS was just right beside, while grand Batam is slightly further. Picture is an indoor playground at BCS, worth it..

Staying in Cassia Bintan was the perfect sanctuary I needed to recharge and getaway from the busy city life. This 'me-time' was exactly what I needed to find my peace again. The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers. The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting. I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss. The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials.
