La camera era abbastanza spaziosa, anche se le strutture erano un po' datate. L'hotel si affaccia sul mare e l'ambiente è molto naturale. Anche la colazione era buona e quando siamo arrivati l'hotel era al completo. Il ristorante era buono, abbiamo ordinato cibo occidentale e birra indonesiana. A Bintan, bisogna spostarsi in auto per ogni attrazione, quindi è meglio prenotare un mezzo in anticipo. L'igiene dei ristoranti esterni è discutibile, raccomando il ristorante di pesce Kelong, che è molto vicino al Lago Blu. Molti altri ristoranti esterni hanno mosche, quindi suggerirei di mangiare in hotel 😅, anche se è più costoso. Le mangrovie/il Lago Blu/lo snorkeling sono così così, un giorno è sufficiente per visitarli, per il resto del tempo è meglio rilassarsi in hotel.

We recently celebrated a special getaway at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel and it truly felt like we had rented the whole place for ourselves. The atmosphere was so peaceful, exclusive, and romantic — perfect for spending quality time with my wife. The hotel itself is incredibly unique, with so much history and character. Staying inside a beautifully restored ship made the entire experience unforgettable. Every corner had a charming nautical touch, and the ambiance throughout the property was elegant yet cozy. One of our favorite spots was the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The view during sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and the calm surroundings made it feel like a private paradise. We spent hours just relaxing by the pool, enjoying the ocean breeze and quiet atmosphere. The restaurants were also very good. The food was delicious, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the dining ambiance was warm and relaxing. Having dinner with the sea view and soft lighting created such a romantic mood for our celebration. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive, which made the experience even more comfortable. The entire property was clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite being such a famous landmark. If you are looking for a romantic escape, peaceful retreat, or simply a unique experience in Bintan, I highly recommend Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel. It was a memorable celebration with my wife, and we will definitely come back again. Potrebbe essere un 5 stelle, ma per ora mi sembra più un 4 o 4,5 stelle. Lasciatemi spiegare. Prima di tutto, ci sono molti vantaggi davvero notevoli per il Nirwana Resort: - L'hotel è in una posizione meravigliosa. La spiaggia proprio di fronte all'hotel è bellissima, tuttavia, se esplorate un po' più a fondo, la spiaggia proprio accanto (collegata ad alcune mini-case in affitto) fa anch'essa parte dell'area Nirwana ed è ancora più pulita e invitante per una nuotata diretta. - La camera era persino più bella di quanto mi aspettassi dalle foto. Tutto era arredato con gusto, pulito e il servizio in camera faceva un ottimo lavoro ogni giorno. L'hotel in sé ha circa 35 anni, è molto vicino al mare ed è costantemente esposto ai venti salmastri. È semplicemente incredibile che siano riusciti a mantenere i corridoi aperti in così ottime condizioni. Ci sono molti elementi in legno (che a mio parere sono davvero belli). - Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Troverete molte attività se è questo che vi interessa. Ora passiamo alla parte un po' neutra: alcuni servizi dell'hotel non erano disponibili durante il nostro soggiorno. Ad esempio, per raggiungere la palestra bisognava spostarsi in un altro edificio a poche centinaia di metri di distanza. C'è comunque tutto il necessario, quindi non è propriamente una lamentela, ma più una questione di comodità, ma dato che tutta la zona circostante è piuttosto bella, consiglierei comunque di esplorare un po'. I due principali fattori negativi sono stati: - È un resort molto appartato e non c'è un supermercato normale o qualcosa di simile nelle vicinanze per le necessità quotidiane di base come acqua o altro. Questo significa che dovrete pagare cifre esorbitanti. 1 litro d'acqua costa oltre 100.000 rupie, ovvero circa 7-8 dollari. Una bottiglietta di Coca-Cola costa circa 3,5 dollari. Lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri snack, bevande e cibo. Sono molto costosi, semplicemente perché non si ha scelta. Un altro esempio: una pizza + un hamburger ”gourmet” costavano quasi 50 dollari. Non mi lamenterei nemmeno se fosse davvero ”gourmet”. Tuttavia, non ci si avvicina nemmeno: si possono mangiare entrambi, non è terribile ma è molto semplice, la pizza è troppo secca e un po' piccola, l'hamburger è il più noioso che abbia mai mangiato da anni e la carne non è affatto un granché. Lo stesso vale per tutto il resto del cibo che abbiamo provato nel ristorante interno. Non è male, ma ogni piatto sembra un po' fuori posto, mancante o semplicemente molto semplice. Soprattutto per il prezzo elevato che si paga, questo non sembra giusto. Ci sono altri due ristoranti a circa 1 km a piedi: un ristorante indiano. I prezzi sono un po' alti, ma più ragionevoli rispetto al ristorante interno. Il pollo tandoori era troppo speziato (non piccante, solo troppo forte, senza nulla che lo completasse) e molto secco/noioso. Il famigerato pollo al burro era ottimo, invece. Consiglierei il ”ristorante piccante” (4 stelle), ma assicuratevi di prendere qualcosa con la salsa. E poi c'è un ristorante di pesce. È davvero costoso (soprattutto se paragonato al pesce di Batam, per esempio), ma offre un'incredibile selezione di pesce/granchi/gamberi freschi e ben conditi che vale assolutamente la pena di andarci. Anche la vista è fantastica. In realtà darei a tutta questa esperienza 5 stelle: se si potessero avere le cose essenziali (acqua, Coca-Cola, qualche piccolo spuntino) a un prezzo ragionevole, al momento questa parte sembra un po' una fregatura. Inoltre, il servizio taxi locale è un po' troppo caro, lo stesso vale per le attività. Non mi dispiace spendere di più, ma ci deve essere un equilibrio per non sentirsi sfruttati. Se questo non vi interessa, consiglio vivamente il soggiorno al Nirwana Hotel.

Questa è la mia terza volta, il che dimostra quanto ami il Turi Beach Resort per la splendida vista sulla spiaggia dalla camera e per come la spiaggia sembra privata e così tranquilla. Ma questa volta, ho avuto una camera proprio di fronte alla piscina e vicino alla reception. Il rumore della piscina e i diversi eventi organizzati proprio accanto alla piscina, con un presentatore e un altoparlante a tutto volume, hanno davvero rovinato l'atmosfera tranquilla che desideravo: una fuga dalla città e dal suo rumore. Avevo richiesto una camera silenziosa con vista mare, quindi sono rimasto davvero sorpreso dalla camera assegnata. Forse la vicinanza alla piscina e al buffet della colazione è un vantaggio per altri, ma non per me, che non nuoto e adoro passeggiare per il resort. Sebbene sia davvero grato allo staff per le elaborate e laboriose decorazioni di compleanno, questa volta non mi sono goduto molto il soggiorno a causa degli eventi rumorosi organizzati durante il fine settimana. Se siete come me, specificate che desiderate una camera lontana dalla piscina, oltre a una camera silenziosa, per garantire un soggiorno tranquillo. Oppure l'hotel potrebbe avvisare gli ospiti che si terranno degli eventi e a che ora, così potrei pianificare di essere via in quel periodo.

Staying in Holiday Inn Lagoi was the BEST n enjoyable moments. Upon arrival, we were given complimentary drinks. We hv 3 rooms booked . 2 rooms were upgraded from pond view to pool view and the rooms were great with one special request for anniversary deco. The ofher 1 room i requested to be upgraded to pool access and they provided us with a nearby room as well in the same building. Front desk personnel were so helpful with our last minute requests. The beachfront was quite a walk but buggy service was there to bring us to the beach at any time . My grandson really enjoyed the buggy ride😍. They also have bicycles to ride to go around rhe hotel area including the beachfront. Food spread was good with varieties eg asian n western cuisine. Having said, the hotel is situated in an area where resorts n other hotels nearby eg indigo, four season by sheraton, kamuella villas etc , there is a small shopping area for souvenirs @ Lagoi Plaza where Mustafa Center n a few other small shoplots for local foods. Free hotel shuttle is provided hourly to Lagoi Plaza as it is only 5 mins drive from the hotel. In short, we really enjoyed staying @ HOLIDAY INN LAGOI and definately to return. I strongly recommend all to come and feel the warmth gestures n services rendered to the guests. Special thanks to the hotel crews : Siska, Agil, Ridha, Mondri, Ranti, Wawan, Bahri, Dhea and not forgetting pak Pius for finding me the raw tempe😍 ( am sorry if i hv mised out names, this includes the waiter n waitresses @ Warong Pak Lagoi) U guys are SUPERB🥰🥰!!! Areas of improvement : plants around the pool area needs to be extra taken care. There are a lot of dried leaves. This applies to all area which has swimming pool.

La camera è pulita. Siamo venuti per il nostro anniversario e al check-in ci hanno offerto un upgrade a una camera deluxe. Ottima e abbondante colazione a buffet... Speriamo che in futuro l'hotel si ingrandisca e aggiunga una piscina per più ospiti.

Staying in Cassia Bintan was the perfect sanctuary I needed to recharge and getaway from the busy city life. This 'me-time' was exactly what I needed to find my peace again. The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers. The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting. I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss. The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials. L'alloggio in villa vale il prezzo speso. Se cercate privacy durante la vostra vacanza, non potete sbagliarvi con questo posto. I pasti/le opzioni di cibo sono scadenti. La colazione arrivava fredda e insapore quasi tutti i giorni. Non avere un buffet per la colazione non aiuta. Se dovete servire in camera, vi preghiamo di acquistare ripiani caldi, carrelli isolati e coperture in acciaio per evitare che il cibo si raffreddi. Le pellicole trasparenti sono dannose per l'ambiente e rendono il cibo molliccio. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, anche se fosse stato caldo, avrei comunque dato 2 su 5. Ad esempio, date un'occhiata a questa pizza Margherita che abbiamo ricevuto il primo giorno del nostro arrivo.

During the check-in process, while verifying our guest identities using our passports, the front desk staff noticed my parents' birthdates. Without us even asking, they thoughtfully offered to provide a plastic stool for the shower to make things safer and easier for them. It is rare to see an administrative process turn into such genuine, proactive care! Security is also tightly managed, and the front desk service is available 24/7, ensuring complete peace of mind 🛁 Cleverly Designed, Spacious Bathroom The bathroom area was a pleasant surprise: The Shower: It is exceptionally clean and spacious. The layout is so generous that I easily managed to fit my 160\text{ cm} wide portable bathtub inside the stall with room to spare, turning the shower into a private spa setup. The Vanity Space: While the sink counter itself is on the smaller side and doesn't hold many toiletries, the design compensates perfectly with a wide second shelf underneath the sink area. It kept all our extra items neatly tucked away but within arm's reach. 🍜 Impressive Breakfast Buffet & Local Delicacies The breakfast spread at Oasia Bistro was varied, fresh, and delicious. For our first time in Batam, it served as a perfect introduction to local flavors: Indonesian Specialties: The buffet featured authentic Indonesian delicacies alongside standard international options, including a fun DIY ”Noodle Station” featuring classic local instant noodles with various condiments and fresh ingredients. The Bakery Station: They have an incredible assortment of pastries (like freshly baked Danishes, Palmiers, and Kouign-Amann), but the absolute star was the Pandan Toast Bread. It is a highly unique local twist on standard toast that you definitely shouldn't miss. 📌 Summary Whether you are traveling for leisure or with elderly family members, this hotel balances high-level security, excellent accessibility considerations, and fantastic dining. Highly recommended, and I will definitely book this room type through Trip.com again!

Excellent hospitality from the very friendly staff. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious choices. The room was exceptionally clean with a pleasant fragrance that made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience.
