Indonesia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Sumatra Settentrionale

"The Hotel is super good .. Everything are amazing.. But we face a scamming that we opened our safe to arrange some documents and cash then the housekeeping team arrived to cleanup … So i let them enter the room for cleaning but I didn’t close the safe since we are in the room in that time. The safe located inside the closet the one you can walk in .. After they finished the cleaning We find 200 USD from our cash in the safe .. The cleaning team put the new laundry bag right on the top of the safe (in that time it was open) and now body noticed us that the safe is open …!!! I submitted a complaint to the front office of the hotel …!!! And i I described the cleaning staff to them exactly, and who was the person who entered the wardrobe containing the safe...!!! They said they would investigate the incident, and after two days they contacted me again saying they had questioned the cleaning staff, who denied taking anything from our safe...!!! And of course, we didn't find anything... which is obvious because no one would confess in this way without being pressured. And here's the question: why didn't the cleaning staff warn us that the safe was open when they went in to put the new laundry bag on top of it?"

"I stayed here with my family during our holiday in Medan. Although the hotel is a bit old, it has its own charm. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Traveling with a young child, we especially appreciated the nice swimming pool, which made our stay very enjoyable."

"Don’t judge the hotel based on how it looks from outside as it might look like a run down building! The room is good, you get what you pay. Breakfast is good, local indonesian breakfast. The best part about this hotel is the staff. They might not be a 5 star hotel (I think) but the hospitality is 5 star! (From the staffs in the entrance area, to the reception counter, restaurants to the cleaning staff!) Kudos to the whole team! The location outside the hotel might be a bit creepy after 10pm to walk around because it’s dark. But don’t worry there’s always at least 2 staffs at the door and if you’re taking e-hailing service you’ll be fine, just don’t walk outside alone."

"Ideal placement for the airport, but other than that I probably wouldn’t recommend due to multiple issues. WiFi didn’t work at all (in my room anyways, 602), Aircondition took forever to properly cool the room, no hand soap in the bathroom, pillows were very uncomfortable (might just be me, but they were definitely a lot tougher than average), the restaurant didn’t have 80% of the menu so I had to go out to eat dinner, airport shuttle only drives a few fixed times a day so I couldn’t make use of that either, most water dispensers were empty, the TV was a piece of furniture rather than an actually functioning TV and in general the sorroundings were scruffy. The service team were very nice and helpful, but when basic things like WiFi and Aircon have issues, you start to notice the small things."

"I didn't know that the room type I booked was at the other far end of the apartment building. Not only did I feel cast aside due to the distance, but the lobby area didn't look anything like a hotel. I barely saw any hotel staff around until the day I was checking out. The room was big, but for the most part, it looked dated, particularly the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with only a bread toaster, a frying pan, a wooden spoon (that really looked like it was time to replace), two glasses, two sets of cutlery, a teapot, and a small creamer pot. There was no electric kettle, not to mention coffee cups. There was no dish towel and again, not to mention kitchen soap. One cooking hob didn't work while the other kept beeping when switched on and stayed cold. There was a mineral water dispenser, but the water from the hot tap was only 70% hot. You can't make a cup of coffee or tea with water that isn't hot enough. I didn't have a good experience when making phone calls to book the 3-hour city transportation. I had the same experience on the first morning when I asked about the breakfast that was to be sent to my room. It was set to be delivered at 9 a.m. I made a call at 9:05 a.m. and was told that they would prepare it right away. When delivered, there were a few missing items: fresh milk for my coffee, orange juice, and a teaspoon for the coffee. I had to make a call again to request them. (I had already mentioned to the staff the night before what I would like to have for my breakfast.) On the next day, I made a call at 6 a.m. to request the same type of breakfast to be sent to my room at 9:30 a.m. Hours later, close to 9:30 a.m., I made a call to room service again to inquire if they were sending my breakfast already. My call was passed from one person to another until the third person who spoke to me seemed unaware of my 'order'. By this time, I was very upset. He said he would attend to it right away and have it delivered to my room in ten minutes. By the time it arrived, it was 9:58 a.m. Nonetheless, the chicken porridge on both mornings were absolutely delicious. The Soto Medan which I ordered as a room service was tasty too. My sleep on both nights was pretty uninterrupted despite the honking from the heavy traffic. On Sunday, after my Fajr prayer at 6-ish, there was music, announcements, etc., from an event downstairs that lasted for three hours. During checkout, staff was going to hand me 800,000 IDR until I told him that I had only made a deposit of 500,000. It was then I realized the amount written on the deposit receipt; the number 5 looked more like an 8. That must be why he wanted to return a security deposit of 800,000. He was grateful when I told him about the amount I made as a deposit and I told him to give feedback to his colleague about her handwriting (the one who did my check-in was a female staff). Overall, this hotel was just alright for me. The lobby, front desk, and the staff at these two parts of the hotel were great. If there were a next time for me, I'd try the hotel side instead of the apartment, but it's likely there won't be a next time here."

"Pro: Economico, la receptionist è stata disponibile, entusiasta e orientata al servizio. "Good family hotel but it is above a complex not your regular ground floor hotel. Food variety is good. Convenient location and around 30mins from airport without traffic. So plan the trip if you are booking and staying here"

"Location is superb, other than that everything else just normal. People who are staying there usually either arriving late or flying early hence please expect some noises late night or early morning. But it is super near and convenient since it's right inside the airport."

"La camera iniziale era al livello 9, ma dal fine settimana tutti i tipi di camera sono completamente libri. Mi fa sentire l'odore di fumare residui, chiedendo un fresco d'aria. È vicino alla stazione ferroviaria Medan e letteralmente a fianco con il centro Point Mall, rendendo shopping e trasporto incredibilmente conveniente. * Eminente personale: l'equipaggio di ricezione era professionale! Mentre la stanza era sul lato più piccolo, era pulita e ben mantenuta. Ma ho notato che le foglie di cotone erano molto vecchie e avevano fatto un colore scuro, svanito, e non erano più bianche! La custodia deve ritirare queste lamiere e assicurarsi che solo le bianche fresche e luminose siano usate per gli ospiti. Ho notato alcuni piccoli anzicchi vicino alla zona del desktop/telefono.Un trattamento rapido da manutenzione aiuterà a mantenere pulito lo spazio di lavoro."
