Indonesia: hotel con internet nella provincia di Sumatra Settentrionale

"The Hotel is super good .. Everything are amazing.. But we face a scamming that we opened our safe to arrange some documents and cash then the housekeeping team arrived to cleanup … So i let them enter the room for cleaning but I didn’t close the safe since we are in the room in that time. The safe located inside the closet the one you can walk in .. After they finished the cleaning We find 200 USD from our cash in the safe .. The cleaning team put the new laundry bag right on the top of the safe (in that time it was open) and now body noticed us that the safe is open …!!! I submitted a complaint to the front office of the hotel …!!! And i I described the cleaning staff to them exactly, and who was the person who entered the wardrobe containing the safe...!!! They said they would investigate the incident, and after two days they contacted me again saying they had questioned the cleaning staff, who denied taking anything from our safe...!!! And of course, we didn't find anything... which is obvious because no one would confess in this way without being pressured. And here's the question: why didn't the cleaning staff warn us that the safe was open when they went in to put the new laundry bag on top of it?"

"Recentemente sono rimasto a Belinn Medan, con una piacevole esperienza generale, l'hotel si trova a buon punto nel cuore di Medan, rendendo facile accedere alle aree commerciali, ai ristoranti e alle attrazioni locali. La camera era pulita, comoda e ben mantenuta, con tutte le attrezzature di base fornite, il letto era a posto, e la custodia di casa faceva un buon lavoro per assicurare che tutto fosse pronto per tutta la mia permanenza. Il personale era amichevole, gentile e sempre disposto ad assistere con qualsiasi richiesta, il che rendeva l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. La colazione è stata molto buona, offrendo una varietà di piatti locali e internazionali, e la zona di pranzo è stata pulita e ben organizzata. Uno dei punti per migliorare sarebbe la connessione Wi-Fi, che potrebbe essere un po' instabile a volte, e la dimensione della camera potrebbe sentirsi leggermente compatta per soggiorni più lunghi, ma è ancora sufficiente per viaggi brevi. In generale, Swiss-Belinn Medan offre un buon valore per i soldi, soprattutto per gli affari o per i soggiorni di tempo libero breve."

"I didn't know that the room type I booked was at the other far end of the apartment building. Not only did I feel cast aside due to the distance, but the lobby area didn't look anything like a hotel. I barely saw any hotel staff around until the day I was checking out. The room was big, but for the most part, it looked dated, particularly the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with only a bread toaster, a frying pan, a wooden spoon (that really looked like it was time to replace), two glasses, two sets of cutlery, a teapot, and a small creamer pot. There was no electric kettle, not to mention coffee cups. There was no dish towel and again, not to mention kitchen soap. One cooking hob didn't work while the other kept beeping when switched on and stayed cold. There was a mineral water dispenser, but the water from the hot tap was only 70% hot. You can't make a cup of coffee or tea with water that isn't hot enough. I didn't have a good experience when making phone calls to book the 3-hour city transportation. I had the same experience on the first morning when I asked about the breakfast that was to be sent to my room. It was set to be delivered at 9 a.m. I made a call at 9:05 a.m. and was told that they would prepare it right away. When delivered, there were a few missing items: fresh milk for my coffee, orange juice, and a teaspoon for the coffee. I had to make a call again to request them. (I had already mentioned to the staff the night before what I would like to have for my breakfast.) On the next day, I made a call at 6 a.m. to request the same type of breakfast to be sent to my room at 9:30 a.m. Hours later, close to 9:30 a.m., I made a call to room service again to inquire if they were sending my breakfast already. My call was passed from one person to another until the third person who spoke to me seemed unaware of my 'order'. By this time, I was very upset. He said he would attend to it right away and have it delivered to my room in ten minutes. By the time it arrived, it was 9:58 a.m. Nonetheless, the chicken porridge on both mornings were absolutely delicious. The Soto Medan which I ordered as a room service was tasty too. My sleep on both nights was pretty uninterrupted despite the honking from the heavy traffic. On Sunday, after my Fajr prayer at 6-ish, there was music, announcements, etc., from an event downstairs that lasted for three hours. During checkout, staff was going to hand me 800,000 IDR until I told him that I had only made a deposit of 500,000. It was then I realized the amount written on the deposit receipt; the number 5 looked more like an 8. That must be why he wanted to return a security deposit of 800,000. He was grateful when I told him about the amount I made as a deposit and I told him to give feedback to his colleague about her handwriting (the one who did my check-in was a female staff). Overall, this hotel was just alright for me. The lobby, front desk, and the staff at these two parts of the hotel were great. If there were a next time for me, I'd try the hotel side instead of the apartment, but it's likely there won't be a next time here."

"We love our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and well maintained. Shower gel and lotion with lightly lavender scented were our favorites. Breakfast was very delicious with western, asian, and local cuisine. We also love the service that all the staff provided. Especially the receptionist that helped us had a smooth check in. Overall we have a great stay here and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Medan."

"Avevo un soggiorno molto piacevole a Aryaduta Medan. L'hotel offre una combinazione perfetta di comfort, comodità e ospitalità calda. La stanza era pulita, spaziosa e ben mantenuta, offrendo un luogo rilassante per riposare. Il personale era amichevole, attento e sempre pronto a sorridere.La posizione è eccellente, proprio nel centro della città, rendendo facile l'accesso alle aree commerciali e alle attrazioni locali. La colazione è stata piacevole con una buona varietà di piatti locali e internazionali. In generale, Aryaduta Medan offre un grande valore e un soggiorno confortevole."

"No hot water in the shower, a little bit seems dirty/ broken in the bathroom and it doesn’t give the feeling of real luxury, but for this price I think it’s very good still. You have a restaurant which is open 24/7 with friendly servers. The pool is shared by hotel guests with people who pay for usage of the pool, looks clean enough. Staff helped to bring luggage to the room. The location of the hotel is good, it feels a little bit less developed around the hotel tho, but there is a nice mall nearby, maybe 5 minutes with the car."

"Location is perfect. 5mins walk to train station to go to Kuala Namu airport. Next to Center Point mall, many eateries, shopping and Lotte Mart is there. Room is cosy and bed is comfiortable. It will be better if the air cinditioning in the room is colder, probably more regular servicing and cleaning the air cond is required. Nice Chinese New Year deco in the hotel lobby and restaurant. Breakfast is goid with many varieties."

"This hotel is well situated near Ferry Terminal. The hotel room is clean and the service is good. The breakfast has a variety of choice from western, local and Asian cuisine. They give us complimentary cake for our honeymoon trip. That is so thoughtful and great service."

"Abbiamo soggiornato qui solo perché prendevamo un volo al mattino presto infatti l’hotel si trova all’interno dell’aeroporto. Hotel normalissimo non troppo pulito ma dispone di tutto anche colazione a buffet."

"Everything is good except two points. Firstly the shower head and water pressure can be improved. The current ones are too old and not convenient to use. Secondly, I was disappointed during check in because I was provided with a smoking room despite my booking was for non-smoking room. I was informed that the hotel is full and there is no other option. Quite surprised because it was a weekday. With no other choice, my family and I entered the room but the smell was unbearable. I called the reception again to complaint. To my ‘pleasant’ surprise, another non-smoking room was provided to me to exchange. I wished this could be offered to me at first attempt then we can reduce the unnecessary unpleasant experience."
