An excellent 'home from home' stay and a great location. It's a short walk to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. A warm friendly welcome on arrival and we were shown immediately to our room. Our room (No6) has a great view and is spacious and bright. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Tea & Coffee making facilities along with biscuits were appreciated. The ensuite bathroom was spacious too and had complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was lovely, so many choices to pick and the portions were generous. A great place to stay!!

Stayed for a night and will definitely be back next time. Room has great sound proofing and is modern, clean and spacious and we had a great view of Harrogate from the window. Brekkie was generous with lots of warm dishes and there’s an option to order from the menu as well. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommend!

Great reception staff. The room was advertised as a ‘cosy double’ but it was a huge bed, huge room and small bathroom. The breakfast had an excellent selection which you could help yourself to. The one downside was that the walls were quite thin so you could hear people in the next room or talking while passing along the corridor.

Good hotel. Clean and well located. Walking distance to the train station and central to the town. Helpful staff and a good breakfast.

Great location, 5 mins walk to city centre, york castle etc. Rooms were comfortable and decently clean. Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) in a double bed and sofa bed. Rooms are small but not an issue as we were out most of the day. Only gripe was that the lift was out of service for the duration of our stay and there is only 1 lift. It was a hassle going up and down with my young children, we had a double stroller which was 10kg, thankfully hotel staff offered to keep in the baggage area on the lobby.

Molto bene, c'è un pantry gratis, lo stile di decorazione è molto unico, super raccomandato, l'atteggiamento di servizio è molto buono. Penso che dovrei vivere a York e la colazione è anche fantastica.

This was a nice boutique hotel and great location - 10 minute walk to all the main sites. The breakfast was lovely with a selection of pastries, muffins and cereals as well hot food to order from a menu. The room was large with lots of space to move around and the bed was comfy. Great shower too and you get free welcome chocolate which was a nice touch.

We had a comfortable stay with a spacious room and great amenities. However, there was a party in the lobby during our stay that made the area quite crowded and noisy. Despite that, we still had a good experience overall and would recommend it for families.

La mia esperienza dall’ingresso alla ricezione era eccellente, mi rendeva immediatamente comodo, e era chiaro che tutti i membri del personale erano dedicati e orgogliosi del loro lavoro, continuamente andando fuori dal loro modo di aiutare gli ospiti. I colazione erano davvero meravigliosi e deliziosi! Voglio in particolare lodare Steve, il cuoco del colazione, il cui eccellente cucina era solo incoraggiata dal suo sorriso incredibilmente gioioso.

Very pleasant staff on check in. Parking free and could spill into Toby Carvery car park next door with no fear of being stung for parking charges. Room had everything we needed and was accessible - hairdryer attached to mirror. Places to hang towels on walls. Plenty of hanging space. Spacious shower and Dove toiletries. Comfy beds. Excellent breakfast. Staff were brilliant. Dealt with spillages efficiently and with a smile and tables were cleared promptly. Only negative was decor was perhaps a little tired. Perhaps a key card entry to access bedrooms although reception was 24 hour. Would recommend 👍
