Beautiful hotel. Grand entrance with chandelier. Easy check in. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel staff Assisted with every request and made the holiday pleasant. Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

L'ambiente dell'hotel è di prima classe, è molto comodo prendere un taxi nelle vicinanze, quindi è molto comodo andare ovunque. La camera dell'hotel era molto confortevole ed è stata la migliore notte di sonno che ho avuto durante un viaggio di più giorni. La cosa più importante era che la temperatura era moderata e la camera era molto spaziosa. Il servizio alla reception è molto professionale, paziente e molto efficiente. Soprattutto il senior manager dell'hotel, Crystal, parla un inglese fluente, il che rende ancora più difficile lasciare una buona impressione ai viaggiatori fuori città. È molto premuroso che l'hotel consegni frutta.

The reception service staff was good and helpful especially that lady who works in the day time. She has guided me on the whereabouts within the surrounding of the hotel. She recommended a nearby big mall within walking distance whereby you can find all the local stuffs including a food court at the top of the mall where you can get reasonable good Korean food. Hotel was conveniently surrounded by big shopping mall. Getting food & buying stuffs was relatively easy.

Il nostro soggiorno a Park Kairo è stato fantastico! Il personale è molto amichevole, soprattutto il servizio del manager VIP. La posizione dell'hotel è anche eccellente e, soprattutto, è ben decorato e pulito. Godetevi il nostro soggiorno nella stanza coreana. Il personale ha anche preparato un piatto di frutta per una festa di compleanno. Molto consigliato!

Not so good. The photos look very different from reality. Room is old, cold, AC doesn’t work well, bed is horrible, mattress is like a wood. Not for recommendations at all.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel offered a complimentary pick up and drop- off service from the train station which is highly appreciated especially in the cold. The room is clean and location-wise, while there isn’t much around, I could walk to the touristy street in 15 mins with many restaurants in the vicinity. Changbaishan Visitor Center is also about 25 mins by foot. I find it quite convenient! The driver(s) also offered private transport to the various local attractions like hot spring and float down the river at reasonable rate (there is a published rate for transport provided in the hotel for reference) and at discounted price for the various attractions. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at the hotel!

Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers.
