Un hotel attraente in un ex complesso imperiale (una biblioteca o qualcosa del genere) che offre camere grandi e pulite. E'anche molto vicino al centro della città e è una breve gita ai templi che sono di interesse a Chengde. Il ristorante del sito offre un buon colazione e un servizio di cena con piatti locali che si pensano essere simili a quello che un imperatore avrebbe potuto mangiare, per cui si può mangiare come un imperatore, per un prezzo. Il grande pellicce roaming le terre ti guarda con gli occhi grandi, tristi, ovviamente cercando un'uscita, ma non cadere per lui perché c'è molta erba. Si sta facendo una costruzione, sembra che gli edifici siano stati ristrutturati, ma non ha davvero interferito con il nostro soggiorno.

Abbiamo prenotato la stanza 270. La finestra era grande e aperta, offrendo una vista marina stupenda. Anche se il personale non parlava inglese, abbiamo comunicato facilmente utilizzando un app di traduzione non era un problema. Tutto era pulito, e la stanza aveva caratteristiche intelligenti. La luce e i controlli di cortina erano a buon fine vicino al letto, che rendevano il nostro soggiorno ancora più confortevole. Se stai pianificando un viaggio in mare, questo hotel ha una vista veramente lussuosa e una posizione perfetta. Era sia cordiale che elegante. Siamo sicuramente pronti a rimanere qui di nuovo. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del mio primo soggiorno all'Hotel Sofia, devo elogiarlo: 1. La posizione è ottima, a soli due semafori dal Summer Resort. 2. La stanza è abbastanza grande e pulita. Le grandi finestre possono vedere il fiume in città. 3. La guida turistica autonoma dell'hotel dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo offre un tour approfondito del resort estivo per soli 9,9 yuan. Altre guide turistiche all'ingresso dell'area panoramica offrono un minimo di 150 yuan e del Tempio di Puning Anche il tour approfondito della guida turistica costa 9,9 yuan. La guida turistica Xiaoyu è molto professionale, bella, paziente e attenta. Lo scenario durante l'intero viaggio è diventato vivido e vivido dopo aver ascoltato la sua introduzione. Da elogiare! Altamente raccomandato! Sono andata all'aeroporto per accompagnare qualcuno nel weekend. Era troppo tardi, quindi ho pensato di fermarmi a Shijiazhuang per una notte. Mio figlio ha detto che voleva nuotare, così ho cercato la parola chiave ”piscina coperta” e ho visto questo hotel. Le strutture sono esattamente le stesse delle foto e l'esperienza reale è ancora migliore! Appena entrata nella hall, ho sentito una fragranza più intensa ~ che ha fatto sentire bene le persone. Dopo il check-in, ho scoperto che erano rimaste solo due camere nella camera standard che avevo prenotato. Il responsabile della hall ha preso l'iniziativa di offrirmi una suite di categoria superiore gratuita quando ha visto che ero con mio figlio e che aveva le idee chiare! Due camere da letto, un soggiorno, tre TV e una macchina da mahjong elettrica! (È stato un po' uno spreco stare lì solo in due, ahah) La sera ho portato mio figlio a visitare la piscina che aveva sempre sognato. Il personale all'ingresso mi ha detto che per nuotare è necessario un biglietto a parte. Sebbene il prezzo sia ragionevole e accettabile, spero ancora che questi servizi possano essere inclusi nel prezzo della camera. Ma prima che aprissi bocca, un bel ragazzo alla reception ha preso l'iniziativa di chiedere se fosse solo il bambino a voler nuotare (perché hanno anche la possibilità di fare il bagno e di sudare). Ho detto di sì, e lui ha detto: ”Allora puoi metterti il ​​costume in camera e nuotare direttamente, senza bisogno di comprare un biglietto~” Oddio! This is currently one of my favorite hotels in Cangzhou, the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. A charming French bakery on one end of the hotel offers coffee and pastries with an English menu, perfect for foreign guests unfamiliar with local food apps. There isn’t much English-speaking staff, understandable given Cangzhou’s limited foreign tourism, the language barrier posed no issues at all. Would definitely come back to this hotel again !

MMichael Exploring China and BeyondWe visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. UUtente ospiteStayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay.

UUtente ospiteThis is my second time at Aranya, and I have to say, it is a beautiful, tranquil resort. The room had wonderful energy and was very very clean. We booked the private hot springs room and we're blown away at how clean and spacious and premium the experience was. The staff were always courteous and were always available to help us with our requests. My Chinese is poor, however they made sure to help communicate and take me to the convenience store for my items and picked me back up. Their Ramen is the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. It is a wonderful establishment and I will definitely be back soon.

KKellyC_**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

GGlenysMThe Modern Crystal Hotel in Baoding is only a 2 minute walk to & from Baoding Railway Station and there are lots of small shops and places to eat, as well as a shopping mall nearby which includes an Apple store! The hotel is quite old and some parts of the rooms I saw were badly in need of refurbishing, but the customer service is excellent. Every staff member I dealt with during my 3 night stay was wonderful …. the Reception staff, and the lovely ladies who clean the rooms and work in the dining room were all consistently and naturally extremely helpful and friendly to me ☺️ The Reception staff ask if you use WeChat, which is great, because you can message them if you need to ask anything and they respond immediately. One of the young guys on Reception went out of his way to help me when the sole of my shoe came away from my shoe, by trying to find a shoe repair shop (there wasn’t one) and then finding & ordering shoe repair glue on Amazon China for me and delivering it to me in my room an hour later! That kind of service is really heartwarming to a foreign traveller 💜 There is a hotel laundry available for guests to use, which was great! BYO laundry detergent. The only real issue - and it’s a major issue - was that smoking is allowed (and encouraged) in the hotel, which, as an Australian, I find shocking and quite unacceptable in this day & age of global “no smoking” health laws. The first room I was allocated smelt so badly of cigarette smoke, I couldn’t stay in it and requested a clean smelling room. The Reception staff complied immediately, and the 2nd room was much better, although it also had a very faint cigarette smell which was not ideal because it spoils the enjoyment of the room, and a No Smoking room should not smell of cigarette smoke at all, but I assume that every room was probably the same. Even the lifts & foyers on each floor smelt badly of cigarette smoke, and it wasn’t nice to see ashtrays everywhere. I have found the same problem in other hotels in China on this visit, more than ever before, and it’s really not pleasant for those of us who hate the smell of cigarette smoke and also get headaches from the horrible smell. It’s a shame, because no matter how excellent the customer service is, the cigarette smoking would prevent me from booking there again, or recommending it to anyone. Pity 😟

As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.

Tissues and toilet paper are of good quality. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff gave me complimentary food for my birthday, which was a nice surprise. The downside was that this whole area is a little deserted. You will like it if you enjoy just relaxing. Also, the balcony looks older. It was also difficult to get a Didi. We waited for several drivers for about 10 minutes, and they canceled after the long wait. So, schedule a ride beforehand. The staff tried hard to help with that. Overall, we had a very nice experience. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I’m in Qinhuangdao.
