Place was nice and spacious. Shower was great. Though the heater couldn't be turned on for long it made noises. You can book a private guide from the reception. There was an in house costume store. Seems like you can wear costumes for free?, but they didn't explain it to us. the place is near to a mall which has haidilao. There is also a 24 foot massage place along the path to the mall and a famous almond store. Do try their almond drink it is delicious! I Don't eat beef, but the lamb noodle store along that stretch was also nice. The location is perfect for 1 day in chengde.

Abbiamo prenotato la stanza 270. La finestra era grande e aperta, offrendo una vista marina stupenda. Anche se il personale non parlava inglese, abbiamo comunicato facilmente utilizzando un app di traduzione non era un problema. Tutto era pulito, e la stanza aveva caratteristiche intelligenti. La luce e i controlli di cortina erano a buon fine vicino al letto, che rendevano il nostro soggiorno ancora più confortevole. Se stai pianificando un viaggio in mare, questo hotel ha una vista veramente lussuosa e una posizione perfetta. Era sia cordiale che elegante. Siamo sicuramente pronti a rimanere qui di nuovo. Grazie!

Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del mio primo soggiorno all'Hotel Sofia, devo elogiarlo: 1. La posizione è ottima, a soli due semafori dal Summer Resort. 2. La stanza è abbastanza grande e pulita. Le grandi finestre possono vedere il fiume in città. 3. La guida turistica autonoma dell'hotel dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo offre un tour approfondito del resort estivo per soli 9,9 yuan. Altre guide turistiche all'ingresso dell'area panoramica offrono un minimo di 150 yuan e del Tempio di Puning Anche il tour approfondito della guida turistica costa 9,9 yuan. La guida turistica Xiaoyu è molto professionale, bella, paziente e attenta. Lo scenario durante l'intero viaggio è diventato vivido e vivido dopo aver ascoltato la sua introduzione. È molto più economico acquistare il trasporto all’interno dell’area panoramica dall’hotel e puoi anche ottenere molti sconti sul pass per l’area panoramica, il che è un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! 4. Booked on friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! This is our first time in this region and first time ever in a ski resort and it has been a very pleasant and memorable experience. L'hotel è nel cuore del centro sciistico, dove le opzioni e gli negozi sono facilmente accessibili. La camera di famiglia è di dimensioni decente per 3 persone (me e due adolescenti) e dispone di tutte le strutture usuali. I bidet non sono tipici nel paese, quindi non si aspetta di vedere uno qui. La colazione è venuta con la mia prenotazione e abbiamo dovuto provare il cibo tipico per questo momento. La selezione non varia per giorno, quindi forse tenere in mente se si sta soggiornando per più di un paio di giorni. Ci sono alcune opzioni alimentari fuori ma non molto al mattino. La maggior parte negozi e ristoranti aperti alle 10. Il servizio clienti è eccezionale e probabilmente quello che abbiamo amato più di noi circa il nostro soggiorno. Signor Lang, il concierge parlante inglese, è stato molto attento e ha fatto il suo meglio per noi, assicurandoci di sfruttare appieno le strutture come i biglietti per il cinema libero e le sedute calde di primavera. Ha preso molta cura di spiegare come nourrire attrezzature e pagare per le sciate ai noobs e lo apprezziamo davvero.

房間雖然小，但是服務太棒了，值夜的小姐姐還出來幫忙找停車位，房間衹有一個插座，還給了一拖三使用。雖然枕芯略微發黃，但是明顯就是清洗過的，抹塵也很到位，不錯不錯，可圈可點，雖然入住時間有點晚了，早餐不一定會去吃，也提了能否免費贈送一份早餐，還是沒有權限沒法贈送，但也無可厚非，整體來説還是不錯的，值得推薦！

La suite è incredibilmente grande, con un soggiorno e un tavolo da mahjong. L'ambiente è fantastico, anche la colazione è piuttosto buona e il personale della reception è molto gentile e ci ha persino offerto un piccolo piatto di frutta. Grazie mille!!! Anche la piscina è molto bella e riscaldata, quindi ci siamo divertiti un sacco. La trapunta in camera è stata sostituita con una sottile, molto comoda. This is currently one of my favorite hotels in Cangzhou, the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. A charming French bakery on one end of the hotel offers coffee and pastries with an English menu, perfect for foreign guests unfamiliar with local food apps. There isn’t much English-speaking staff, understandable given Cangzhou’s limited foreign tourism, the language barrier posed no issues at all. Would definitely come back to this hotel again !

MMichael Exploring China and BeyondWe visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. We look forward to our next stay, see you soon.

UUtente ospiteRoom & Cleanliness: I booked a double room but was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a 6-person family suite! The room was spread over two floors and was incredibly spacious and modern. It was very clean and well-equipped, though it lacked a refrigerator. One minor issue was the lack of a heater on the lower floor, which stayed quite cold, so I spent most of my time on the upper floor where it was warmer. Service & Perks: The staff provided decent service, and although their English was limited, they were very helpful. Check-in was a bit slow despite there being few customers. A huge plus of staying here is the 30% discount on ski passes and complimentary access to the Ski Lounge. Having access to the lounge meant I didn't need to rent a locker for my belongings, which was very convenient. Transportation & Getting There: After arriving at Taizicheng High-Speed Railway Station, walk to the far left towards the bus parking area. You’ll pass ski rental shops and staff holding signs for various hotels. Take the shuttle bus (runs every 15-20 minutes) and stay on until the very last stop right in front of the hotel. Don't make the mistake I did by getting off one stop early at Thaiwoo Ski Resort, or you’ll have a long walk! Ski Access & Facilities: For snowboarding, just take the elevator to the 1st floor, which leads directly to the ski slopes. You can buy passes and rent all your gear and outfits right there. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor. I stayed in Building C, which is a separate building from the lobby but only a very short walk away. Noise & Atmosphere: The room was extremely quiet and offered great privacy. At night, the atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful, though it gets incredibly cold (I visited in late December). Surroundings & Dining: At the ski area, you’ll find a McDonald’s, and inside the main building, there are noodle shops, milk tea stands, and restaurants serving Xiao Long Bao, wontons, and hotpot. I highly recommend walking over to the Thaiwoo Ski Resort area in the evening. There are plenty of restaurants, clothing shops, live music, and beautiful light decorations—it’s a great spot for photos. Note that Thaiwoo has its own separate ski entrance from the hotel's.

UUtente ospiteStayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay.

KKellyC_**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

As foreigners visiting Zhangjiakou in December for the first time for both travel and skiing, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They immediately noticed that we were traveling with children and had quite a bit of luggage, and proactively offered assistance, which made us feel very well cared for right away. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, and the availability of late-night snacks was a wonderful bonus, especially after a long day of skiing. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Atour to anyone visiting Zhangjiakou.

OOlga aka AmyZhangjiakou is a great place, but not when it’s full of people… Starting from: Pluses: Checked in before 14:00; Accommodated my kid’s needs; Restaurant personnel is great; Mind that breakfast/food is Chinese, western choices are poor. Minuses: Bad cleaning (cleaning left smell of old cloth); No bathrobes, no soap in the room (had to ask for it); When checked in, no one told me about breakfast time, neither wrote where/when on the breakfast voucher; Receptionists mostly are ignoring you; Haven’t told about swimming pool, receptionists are mostly trying to avoid communication, father then help, I was figurinista things myself; Staff doesn’t speak English, when I addressed them, first they said they didn’t understand, and then waited for me to leave the receptionist desk, absolutely inappropriate for that money.
