Location of hotel is excellent next to Gancheng station where our nantou bus from Sun Moon Lake stopped . Room was spacious; toilet has dry & wet separation. Self laundry is available with NT$40 per wash and NT10 per 10min dryer time..Overall a value added hotel. Only disappointment was they asked guest to signed on an agreement to follow their instructions such as no throwing of toilet paper into toilet bowl, NT$200 for extra blanket etc.

Very convenient location, right at the metro station. Warm and welcoming lobby, very clean rooms. There is a snacks and drinks bar at the lobby for guests, and they provide instant noodles at night for free.  The breakfast was decent. The biggest downside was that there's only one lift servicing all 11 storeys (excluding basement levels). So a little patience is required during peak hours.  Service was great, staff are polite and courteous. Just a small hiccup though - the room wasn't made when we returned at 6pm, and the cleaner lady came over at 630pm to clean... Other than that, was still a great stay. Thank you!

Pro: Ottima posizione nel centro di Taipei. La biancheria da letto era pulita. Il prezzo era buono. C'è una sala comune con cucina nel seminterrato. Gli armadietti erano comodi per riporre le valigie in modo sicuro. L'orario di check-out alle 11:30 è stato più generoso rispetto alla maggior parte degli altri posti. L'acqua nelle docce aveva una buona temperatura. Contro: Il ragazzo che ho incontrato al check-in è stato sgarbato al punto da essere scortese. La tavoletta del WC nel dormitorio maschile continuava a cadere, quindi dovevi stare in piedi a fare pipì cercando di tenerla su o di farla attraverso il buco. Non l'ideale. Molte zanzare nel seminterrato. Ci sono innumerevoli piccoli cartelli che ti dicono di non fare certe cose e che i ”trasgressori” saranno multati - questo non sembrava il divertimento che il nome ”Fun Inn” implica. I bagni puzzavano di pipì - molto probabilmente a causa del problema con la tavoletta del WC di cui sopra.

I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I would recommend it to travelers visiting Taichung.

Chance Hotel in Taichung is exactly what you’d expect for the price of a 3-star hotel, and there’s nothing to complain about at this price range. The hotel is clean and provides all the necessary amenities. The most important highlight is the location—it’s right next to Taichung Train Station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, a good value stay.

La stanza era pulita e sembrava nuovamente ristrutturata. Offreno parcheggio pubblico gratuito, che ha lavorato bene per i miei piani. Colazione e caffè al mattino erano abbastanza buoni per iniziare il giorno. L’hotel’s anche a passeggiata dal mercato notturno. L'unico punto in basso era che la mia stanza era di fronte alla strada, così era un po' rumorosa dal traffico, e potevo sentire dei suoni dalla prossima stanza.

The service was very good and they had reminders all over for help and what to do. They have a cute downstairs living area. My husband and I stayed for only one night and wished we had stayed for longer. There was AC and a fan for cool airflow and there was everything else we needed there. Definitely recommend this place for a cheap and comfy place.

It is a good location. Very easy to go everywhere in Taiwan because very near to Taipei main station. The room is standard but late check in (16:00) and early checkout 11:00. The cleaning schedule of the room is 3 days each time. For me it is acceptable. I love laundry service with washing and drying machine but you have to prepare 10 NTD coin 30 for wash and 20 min for 10 dollar normally spend 40 for drying . My room has no window but no problem because we travel more than stay.

Everything was great. I loved the location, it’s very close to the train station and bus stops, with a FamilyMart nearby. There isn’t much to eat or see in the immediate area, but a 15-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk can take you anywhere you need to go (west central district, or any night market!), so we were fine with that. The room was clean, and the service was great. Nothing to complain about.

Love this hotel! great location, just walking distance to Wenhua night market! close to many tourist areas like Hinoki Village, art museums etc. also few mins away from Chiayi train station. Staffs are accommodating, the room is spacious and clean. Love the comfort of our bed and pillows. Price is reasonable. The bathrooms is also spacious with a bath tub. overall great experience, highly recommended!
