Hotel Zuri by Fassbind

Il personale della reception è molto gentile e disponibile. Sfortunatamente, quando sono arrivato, l'aria condizionata in tutto l'hotel era fuori servizio. Tuttavia, ho ottenuto un upgrade nella mia stanza. La posizione è molto comoda, dovrai camminare 6 minuti per raggiungere il trasporto più vicino. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, il bagno era ok, ma ho trovato almeno 7 peli sul letto e sui cuscini. Di notte sentivo dei suoni provenire dal bagno. L'ho ispezionato, è causato dalla luce LED nella scatola luminosa. Fondamentalmente lampeggia ogni 5 minuti. La parte inferiore sinistra della scrivania ha un angolo molto acuto, è facile colpire il ginocchio. la camera non dispone di bevande offerte nel frigorifero. Non ha spazzolino né dentifricio. Ha solo una bottiglia di shampoo, balsamo misto e una bottiglia di gel doccia. Nel complesso è buono.

Il riscaldamento era rotto. Mansarda solo finestra inclinata.

Il condizionatore d'aria non funziona e non dircelo fino a quando non abbiamo chiesto.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. It is 1.8km away from HBF(train station). So either you have to walk or always use tram to reach. Still the connectivity is good to the hotel. The room was clean and service was good!

Good location, friendly staff, close to the tram - perfect for our brief overnight in Zurich.

I booked this hotel for a night. We checked in around 8pm at room 601 and we found out that the temperature in the room was quite hot so before we went out for dinner we just turned it to 20°c which is the minimum. After we came back room, we still found that the room was still hot and the temp on the screen was shown as 24.5°. Then, we went to the front desk to tell them that maybe the A/C had problem but the staff said that their A/C works different from normal A/C, they call it “Cooler”! So, we told them this is not right because on the website exactly shows “A/C not Cooler”. Then the staff went to check the temperature in my room with a thermometer in front of the cooler in my room and it was shown 23.8° which that time we set it on 20° for over 3 hours! We asked them to check if there was any available room to change. First, they said the hotel was quite full and if they gave us another room and the cooler still didn’t work what they can do for us. Then they said they have fans if we are ok (30cm width fans), so I told them we were 3 persons, is it possible if we can get 3 fans. And they said “yes“. After that they told us they can move us to room 701 so we checked and we felt it quite better but still hot so we asked them can we get the fans. This time they told us they can only give us 1 fan because they have only 3 fans. I have to explained them again that first thing you said you had A/C but then turned out as “cooler”, second thing you accepted that you will give us 3 fans, third we paid for the room with A/C which is the price is higher than non-A/C room in other hotels. So, they gave us 2 fans finally. However, the room was clean and good for staying in winter according to the “cooler” really good works for “heater”! And thank you that solved the problem without saying sorry and making us felted like we were guilty to not able to sleep with that temp. (That night the temp outside the room was hotter than inside so we couldn’t open the windows) The temp is still hot till we checked out. The bathroom door is not completely closed as well Bad impression.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, with the location being a standout feature. The cleanliness was decent, though I did find some stray hairs on the bed, a minor downside. Despite this, the location makes it a good choice for budget-conscious travelers in Zurich.

Unfortunately it was quite disappointing as the receptionist was in bad attitude as we arrived early in the morning by flight, even we saw lots of people checking out, they didn’t allow us to check-in early until check-in time! And especially the lady at receptionist showed her cold face, it was disastrous!

Perfect stay for our little family for all the 3 nights. Staff was very attentive to all my requests and very accommodating. Communication was good, staff can speak english well. will come back again thank you so much!
