Un soggiorno molto deludente con 8 clienti in una vacanza a piedi a Malta e Gozo. L'hotel sembra molto stanco e certamente non ha vissuto fino a 4 stelle. La mia camera al retro dell'hotel si sentiva più come una stanza in un ostello a basso mercato. Non potevo trascorrere un minuto più di quanto dovessi, il bagno era stato data, la doccia era così terribile che mi spogliai i capelli finché non mi sono tornato a casa, i bagni erano sottomarini per quattro stelle. C'era un mosaico intorno al bagno e la base della toletta non era pulita. Le tole erano troppo piccole, vecchie e a filo. Poiché ci sono stati solo pochi ospiti a cena all'hotel, abbiamo un menu con 3 opzioni per il principiante e la principale. Il cibo era mal cotto, soprattutto tutti i pasti di pesce e i dolci non erano grandi - una scelta di due dolci piuttosto sgradevoli che apparivano sul buffet del colazione la mattina seguente. Il buffet del colazione si sentiva come se fosse riregolato ogni mattina. Non era fresco e le giochi di latte non erano chiaramente state lavate e pulite per un po' ... appena spostate e poi immagazzinate fino al giorno successivo. E' stato anche profondamente frustrante che ogni volta che volevamo ordinare bevande, dovevamo pagarle immediatamente, perché non potevamo pagarle in camera.

Io e la mia compagna visitiamo spesso Gozo per fare volontariato in una fattoria educativa dell'isola. Questa e la prima volta che soggiorniamo al Duke e devo dire che é stata una piacevole sorpresa. Hotel caldo silenzioso e pulitissimo, personale cordiale e disponibile sin dalla prenotazione, colazione veramente buona con prodotti freschi e di qualità. durante tutta la nostra permanenza abbiamo notato l'attenzione ai dettagli che il personale utilizza per assicurare un piacevole soggiorno ai clienti. Un grazie speciale a Charlos per la sua disponibilità.... Consigliatissimo. Senza dubbio il miglior hotel di Victoria.

Excellent in every way! This newly built boutique hotel is located in the quaint village of Xaghra. It is beautifully set in a maltese type of a square. As soon as you step in you'll feel that joy of welcome! Not just a typical one. Receptionists will go that extra mile to help as well as they are highly good mannered and courtious. Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms throughout. Lovely decorated inside which will give you the needed rest. It is well clean and tidy. Breakfast is top! Whatever you're up to they provide! Everything is cooked on time and hence fresh and crispy. Hats off to the kitchen staff and restaurant staff. Highly recommended and this for sure will not be my first time there. Will sure return. Thank you Alejandro and Carol and the maltese receptionist which I can't remember his name along with the other front office staff. You're all a Gem and a credit to the hotel. Chapeau!

Just returned from our week in Gozo staying at the Cornucopia Hotel what a gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was great with a lovely large balcony looking down to Marsalforn. Very clean and tea/coffee etc replenished daily also towels. The grounds and pool areas are kept spotless and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice hot and cold selection. The hotel is very peaceful for a relaxing break and bar area very comfortable. The village centre is a short stroll where there are several restaurants. We did not hire a car as the buses ran from near the square and were very reliable. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday perfect and will definitely be back.

Un angolo di paradiso, immerso in una macchia mediterranea che offre un’infinita varietà di piante. Bungalows in muratura che garantiscono spazi interni ed esterni , privacy e assoluta armonia con l’ambiente circostante. Due piscine esterne ( una per adulti , l’altra per adulti e bambini), Arredi delle parti comuni curati e raffinati. Personale molto professionale. La “ spiaggia” , raggiungibile con navetta, è in realtà una piattaforma , posta a livelli differenti, di cemento con lettini ed ombrelloni con accesso al mare tramite scaletta. Unica nota migliorabile è il ristorante, non certo per la sua bellissima collocazione intorno ad un ultracentenario albero di carrubo quanto piuttosto nell’offerta troppo ripetitiva.

All'inizio di ottobre, dopo aver letto le recensioni, e prima di una riunione d'affari sull'isola principale, siamo rimasti per 2 notti. L'hotel era molto bello, aveva un ascensore, la stanza era pulita e tesa con un bel letto di 4 poster. Il seguito ha funzionato bene. È vicino a una chiesa. Il bus a Victoria è proprio fuori dalla chiesa. Ci sono un certo numero di bellissimi cibi intorno, tra cui il Coniglio Fat sotto l'hotel stesso. La parte migliore era Frankie. Questo manager ha fatto il posto speciale e vorrei che potessimo stare più a lungo. Era utile, impegnato e una fonte di informazioni. Ha anche preso il nostro bagaglio a Port il nostro ultimo giorno, per poter usare meglio la mattina. Abbiamo apprezzato anche il trasporto dall'aeroporto direttamente a Gozo, sulla nave da carico, che abbiamo organizzato in anticipo, e se c'è qualcosa che potrebbe essere migliorato, è che i dettagli di ciò che è l'inclusione del colazione dovrebbero essere chiariti. We booked the penthouse room to have a terrace where one can enjoy the view with a cup of tea or a glass of wine Unfortunately the terrace has a very high wall and once you sit down the view succumbs to a horrendous wall. We had issues with the tv as it kept going out of the programm and we couldn’t watch anything. We do call and fair enough a very polite lady came to check the issue, she couldn’t at first and after 15 odd minutes she managed although she told us it could be a faulty box. After she left the same thing happened , we didn’t call again as she had to come back from another town and as we were there just for a day we opted not to. When we returned after a lovely and enjoyable dinner at the Rendezvous restaurant and went to sleep we noticed that 3 flood lights were left on all night and light was coming in the room as the curtains rail was around 10cm away from the wall. As I am a light sleeper I couldn’t sleep at all. Anyway in the morning we went down to a most enjoyable breakfast and went to pay for the night we spent . I never complained but I did tell the receptionist about the tv problem and I mentioned it so the next person won’t have the same issues. I sent an email pin pointing the issues we had , I never asked either for a discount or my money back. All I did raise the issues as they were easy to solve , and if they did they wouldn’t have to face unhappy clients. Well well all hell broke lose as all excuses under the sun came poring down, such as the floodlights have been put up just three weeks ago….. the horrendous wall is what it is and nothing can do about it as it’s an old wall … Then a phone came and I was told I was imagining things by this fine lady on the other side of the phone, now that’s customer care at it’s best . If she had the time to notice that i wasn’t asking for any money back then she wouldn’t have been so offensive and so defensive. Sorry Quant but the issues are easily tend to The terrace should have an elevated area where one can sit and enjoy the weather and the views and the light from the flood lights can easily be solved by fixing the curtain further closer to the wall . This will prevent the amount of light going in
