The sourdough lodge is very clean.. reliable airport pick up and drop off. Rooms were a good size. New owners are gradually adding new beds. Community refrigerator and freezer . You can bring your own food. Great coffee. Continental breakfast could use some improvement. Hospitality was a 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ staff always available in person or by phone text to answer questions about anything..if I felt I needed something they would accommodate it . I left my wallet there.. they contacted me. !!!! Honesty beyond compare..!!!!! Nice water view from yard, nice areas to sit outside. Inside great room , games available. 0.9 mile walk to city dock. Easy walk to town. Met many neighbors and great harbor views . I would stay at the sourdough lodge again..Jill lodge manger was outstanding.. picked us up at the airport.. made suggestions on places to eat.. pointed out local landmarks… JILL made our visit to the lodge a welcoming experience… Thank you to Jill for my wallet.!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great experience. Jillian was such a gracious and kind host. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Wrangell. I also enjoy the old fashioned ambience. I had good conversations in the morning over coffee and a pastry.
