We booked an evening meal in the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary since we got married there 25 years ago, a happy celebration turned into a nightmare as I suffered severe stomach pain and terrible diarrhea in the early morning after that meal. What’s shocked me the most is the lack of follow up from the hotel after I informed them of my bad experience. It doesn’t seem that Rookery Hall is taking this food poisoning incident seriously which is truly disappointing. They just ignored my email asking for a full explanation and investigation which leaves me with no option but to share this bad experience.

We hired Rookery Hall as our wedding venue in August and thoroughly believe it played a massive part in us having the best day. Not only are the grounds and buildings beautiful, but is more about the people who work there who make it feel very warm. The reception team were lovely upon our arrival and everyone (from the chefs, to the bartenders and waitresses, to the team who helped coordinate our wedding itself) was on the top of their game and our guests were extremely impressed by them too. If you are considering Rookery as a wedding venue, it’s a no-brainer. The packages they offer take a lot of stress of the planning process and the team they have to help organise are brilliant. We love this place and will certainly be regular visitors in the future. Thank you for making our day!

Whilst I did think the rooms could do with a little refurb, everything overall was 10/10. The staff at check in were wonderful and so on it. The rooms were fully equipped with everything you could want for a weekend break from fresh milk for your tea, to TVs in the bathroom (!). The spa was nice, and we loved walking around the grounds. But the biggest highlight was dinner in the restaurant. The service was incredible and we loved the passion from every member of staff. Definitely will be back!

Visited Rookery as part of a spa weekend and cannot wait to go back. The thing that stood out for me was the faultless service, from the moment we arrived staff (from spa, check in, bar, restaurant, coffee shop, cleaners) could not do enough for us. Spa: spotlessly clean, good quality robes and towels, exceptional afternoon tea. Hotel: luggage had already been taken to our room, great spacious room, turn down service, again spotless. Bar: knowledgable bar man who was very attentive, lovely cosy atmosphere. Restaurant: food was exceptional quality, michelin standard, high attention to detail. Cannot wait to return here...the customer service was one of the best ive experienced recently..credit where it is due!

Having stayed at Rookery Hall before, I knew it would be the perfect wedding venue. From the moment I booked and the 2 years of planning Rookery Hall guided me every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and all of our wishes were catered to. Steph has been a fantastic wedding coordinator and made us feel very special. Thank you also to Alys for your calm and professional service on our big day. All of our guests commented on the outstanding service that was provided during our wedding weekend by all of the staff. So many happy memories! I would highly recommend Rookery Hall as the perfect wedding venue.

Had an amazing stay in this hotel to celebrate an anniversary. The staff at reception provided a very welcoming, professional and friendly service. The welcome pack including a personal card and bottle of bubbly was a nice touch and we are grateful for that. The room was perfect, with lovely views and facilities. Would definitely recommend the breakfast, service and food was a high standard. We didn’t stay in for dinner but if we stay again would choose to eat in. Close to Nantwich town centre with lovely cafes and shops to explore. The spa was lovely, very relaxing and not too busy. The swimming pool, steam room and sauna was great and if we had been staying longer would have considered booking some treatments. A beautiful building and brilliant staff.

Had my baby shower at rookery hall on Sunday afternoon. Thank you to the team for making it so perfect, Lauren in events organised this for me and was very thorough throughout. The restaurant staff on the day were all so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. All of my friends commented about how wonderful the day was and how lovely the atmosphere and food is there. We also made use of the outside terrace area which was just stunning, the weather was great and the fountain in the background made it so much more special. Thank you to rookery hall and all of the staff for making my baby shower so memorable

We had the most amazing wedding day. Venue,food & staff were faultless. Steph, our wedding planner and Alice our wedding day co-ordinator along with all staff were professional & made our day stress free and flow beautifully for us & our guests.
