Hotel in zona Paper Heroes Comic Book Lounge & Collectibles, Windsor

La camera dell'hotel era pulita, il letto era comodo e il colazione era grande. Il check-in e il check-out erano veloci. Ho condiviso la stanza con un amico mentre visitavamo Windsor. L'unica cosa che poteva essere migliore era avere una visione migliore di un uomo che stava sgattaiolando la porta posteriore che scorreva nella nostra prima stanza.

Upon arriving to check in we were told our room wasn’t ready as the previous guest checked out and stole the tv. Yes, stole the hotel tv. That made us second guess our stay but we thought the hotel can’t tell wether a guest is a good or bad guest. We decided to go have dinner and then come back, giving them time to install the new tv. The room was a “jacuzzi room” , but it for sure had seen better days. It did not smell so that was a bonus. *first the wooden coat rack with steel hooks was so broken that the second I put my coat on it it tilted 90 degrees almost slamming into my face. My hubby took a video of it to show the front desk. *the jacuzzi tub had hair in it, we informed front desk and they came and picked hair out, I myself sprayed down the tub with sanitizer and wiped it after that as it must not of been cleaned from previous tenant * the lights flickered on and off when turned on * you were left on your own how to figure out the heat. * the tv the my just put in there went back and forth between snowy screen and regular tv, upon Investigation the cable in the back had no proper end and was just a loose wire set into the cable hole * the bedding had a hole and some stains and very uncomfortable. The staff was the saving the grace they were pleasant and nice. Will not be staying there again, one too many issues and for 119.99 for the night not worth it all.

Normalmente non scrivo recensioni, ma questa è una che merita. Camere molto pulite, personale amichevole. I letti sono buoni, ma le cucine sono un po' dure. Colazione decente. Buon soggiorno complessivo. Certamente prenota di nuovo

Sono rimasto qui qualche volta per affari. Sta camminando a distanza dal fiume dove c'è un bel percorso per camminare. Check-in è stato un brindisi e la donna al desk front è stata gentile e utile. L'hotel è molto pulito e ben tenuto. La sala è la tua sala media con attrezzature limitate, ma il lavoro è finito. Ma potevo certamente vederle come le camere che si trovano davanti alla strada possono essere alte. In passato, ho sempre avuto camere che guardavano l'ingresso del tunnel e non avevano mai problemi acustici. Ora c'è un Starbucks attaccato a questo hotel - che è un bel toccamento. Parcheggio è terribile, ma credo che stiano costruendo. Attento a salire o scendere la rampa, perché le luci rosse e verdi non sono accurate per il traffico in arrivo. Questo è il posto che mi piace stare a Windsor - ci sono molte opzioni alimentari vicine.

Rewriting as there appears to be confusion from TripAdvisor team. This review is about our experience with Towneplace suites and the Towneplace moving us to Sheraton. (Same hotel brand - Marriott), upon literal arrival. Since writing this, and having it posted, the Operations Manager, Samantha, of Towneplace Suites, graciously reached out to make what I feel, is a grand gesture and show sincere appreciation for our concerns. So thank you! This doesn’t excuse our upset for if “we” know better we do better! So, I will begin with this, we did not end up staying. Although I felt compelled to write this for our disappointment upon arrival. Leads me to say, in writing this, expressing our concerns, when “we” know better; “we” do better! Please don’t wait until I’m at your front door. We booked this hotel months in advance to attend a Nexus interview the following day, over another hotel - the Sheraton Windsor! Literally! Coincidentally, the weather that particular week had temperatures with heat warnings including air quality warnings. We drove 3+ hours after finishing work, to literally arrive to Towneplace Suites hotel being told their AC is not working and anywhere in the hotel! They knowing/ having this intel days before our arrival, as staff of the hotel advised us! We were neither called nor notified pre-arrival for us to make alternative arrangements!! This shows lack of respect for themselves, their customers including a Platinum Elite Member such as I! We were told if we stayed, the window does open albeit a few inches! It was not ideal. They said, the alternative is, “they send us to the Sheraton Windsor (their other branded property), at same rate.” (Many reasons for not booking with “other hotel” originally. Rooms are extremely small. And, TripAdvisor reviews for which I do rely on, were less than I would consider. We have never had any luck with “other hotel name” albeit now part of Marriott brand. Hence, the reason I was skeptical.) So after attempts to make immediate alternative arrangements, I came up dry, and acquiesced to their moving us to the Sheraton Windsor. I did express my reasons for not wanting to stay there. FYI -and ORIGINALLY we got no offerings of any kind. No discounts, no free parking, no price adjustments, no offer of Marriott points. NOTHING! This is a huge inconvenience and now the restaurant we wanted to eat at, becomes unavailable option. I’ll explain! FYI - I will submit a separate review of the “other hotel”, and FYI, in advance - we would not stay there again! So, are we disappointed and put out we, as Platinum Elite or really any guest, be given Marriott points to express “sincere” gratitude? I chose the Towneplace Suites for the size of the rooms, and based on TripAdvisor reviews! Questa posizione era davvero buona per noi. E' sul fiume e abbiamo avuto una grande vista. Il parcheggio era molto buono. Il colazione era terribile, ma non è per questo che ero lì. Il personale del desk front era molto bello e utile. La stanza era moderna e pulita. L'hotel era pieno di bambini collageni e non lo sapevo fino a mattina.

Il personale è stato amichevole e utile per le chiamate telefoniche e le interrogazioni durante il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo amato la nostra suite da letto con una vista sorprendente sul fiume Detroit, dove si possono vedere i monumenti di guerra, le navi e le barche che attraversano il fiume e Detroit attraverso l'acqua.La nostra suite era moderna, spaziosa e immaculata. Bella cucina per preparare snack e ricaldare i restanti dai nostri ristoranti. Non abbiamo chiesto di pulire durante il nostro soggiorno, ma li abbiamo contattati perché pensavamo che non fossero stati forniti piatti o biancheria per il letto di divano, ma li abbiamo trovati in un trattore più tardi. La piscina è più grande di quanto sembra con acqua calda, ma ricordate che la porta è impegnata per entrare. Non ci sono colazione, ma c'è un piccolo mercato con caffè Starbucks, e Tim Hortons è meno di dieci minuti a piedi dietro il Centro Acquatico/Adventure Bay. Abbiamo preso il consiglio delle recensioni precedenti e abbiamo controllato l'hotel prima per ottenere il passaggio di parcheggio e le chiavi della stanza che avete bisogno di accedere al parcheggio dell'edificio collegato. Non abbiamo tenuto alcuna proprietà in macchina e non abbiamo avuto problemi con i privilegi di entrare e uscire.

Suggerisco di spostare il portatore di carta da bagno dal lato inferiore della gamba e di sollevare la gamba più alta, quindi quando devo usare la camera da letto come una donna più grande, non mi fa male la gamba o devo far male alla schiena cercando di ”finire” la camera da letto.
