Really lovely reception area, staff were great during book in, very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, spacious and warm. Just what we wanted for our one night stay. Didn't visit the bar or restaurant as was with my 12 year old Son but the menu looked excellent and the bar area looked pleasant. Plenty of nice flat car parking spaces. Would definitely visit again!

Always a pleasant stay

On arrival although i paid for early checkin we were turned away and told to come back at 3pm. After checking our e-mailed they confirmed the mistake and refunded the £10.00. The room is tatty and run down small tv curtains with holes cracked wash basin, lumpy mattress and not comfortable. We mentioned to reception and their attitude was well take it or leave it. Only one power socket to service tv kettle and coffee machine which leave no room to charge your electronics. Evening meal was included very basic two course meal, limited choice and upgrading the meal came with extra charge. Starters Veg and Non veg it was not appatising the main meal Veg i had tagaitteli lumpy sauce lumpy of seasoning and no sides. Non veg the breast of chicken was overcooked and dry had to send it back and the second one came out and still the same. Morning breakfast very limited choice on cereal, bread and hot breakfast. The hotplates are not working so beans, scrambled egg was cold. The attitude of the staff is so like I don’t care. I would not recommend this establishment to any one and not sure how it has achieved 3 stars as i would rate it as less then 2 Star.

Great value, the rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. The staff are a joy and genuinely cannot do enough to make your stay pleasant. We had the all inclusive option and it is certainly worth the money and then some. Drinks are good quality and service quick and efficient with a smile. Staff are attentive and watchful so that food and drink is brought out quickly and orders taken without delay. The food was good too. Hot and fresh served on warm plates. The choice is limited but the upgrades are reasonable if you want to mix it up. The fish and chips were excellent and piping hot too. Breakfast was good too and again hot and fresh with a good selection available. Buffet style continental and help yourself to drinks and toast. Everything was well organised and seamless. We would recommend to anyone wanting a couple of nights away. Our package included afternoon tea and the scones were absolutely delicious, served hot with plenty of jam and cream and eaten on the terrace what a treat!

We stayed here for two nights for my daughters wedding. We were met by very freindly reception staff as were the bar/ wedding/cleaning staff. Our room was clean tidy and comfortable.the breakfast was very nice somthing for everyone. the wedding was fantastic and our stay was brilliant.only one moan the outside looks like it needs a good lick of paint as it gives the wrong first impression.

Stayed here on the all inclusive deal, upgraded to a suite. Whilst it's true the hotel is a bit dated and there are a few little things in rooms that could be improved (some minor stains on the carpet and desktop) overall we had a fantastic stay. The bathrobes provided were actually soft, the food was good, the suite had 2 bathrooms, we had some coffee pods, a large cookie, 2 packets of crisps and bottled water in the room. The all inclusive drinks list is fair. The staff are friendly but Andy in particular made our stay enjoyable, brought drinks to the table, took the food order, checked all ok, made sure we had everything we needed and in general was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Rooms very tired and bed not at all comfortable. First room we were allocated absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke despite being a non smoking room. 2nd room smelled better but like something out of the eighties. Food was good and the lovely older waiter ( sorry to point age out but didn’t catch his name ) is a credit to this hotel. He never stopped smiling whether he was on the bar, attending tables or greeting guests. Well done. It’s a shame some of the female staff don’t take a leaf out of his book and learn some hospitality skills. A nice manner and a smile go a long way.

The hotel is reasonably clean if a little dated, there where two functions on when we visited but no problems with noise. Good size free carpark. Food was very nice, we where all inclusive but some menu items can be expensive as are the drinks. Buffet breakfast was basic but tasty. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Biggest downer was the lack of spa. Despite it being advertised on the Lavender Hotels website staff told us the spa has been closed for some years and they continually ask for it to be removed. Lack of spa ruined what was otherwise a pleasant weekend.

One night stay on the way to Scotland and was a good place to stop off. Goid choice of evening meal and breakfast next morning. Room was clean and comfy. Staff were helpful. This would be a good bases for visiting Liverpool or the surrounding area

I phoned this morning to enquire about disabled access and was greeted by Katie who was extremely friendly, kind, informative & most helpful, to say this was only Katie's third shift our questions were answered with great clarity and if unsure Katie went and found out. It was from my initial phone call & a second conversation with The Hotel Manager Angie that put all our minds at ease and we booked a family room for the 3 of us for February 2025. We can not wait to meet and stay at The Everglades Hotel thanks to Katie & Angie. Ken Room 124

The hotel was very clean, good food, extremely helpful, happy staff and the whole place had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The manageress is both experienced and has a lovely personality that transferred throughout the hotel. Would definitely return again.

Stayed just one night as a stop on the way to holiday. Warm welcome from staff with lots of helpful info right from the get go- The hotel is great. Rooms were clean. food was lovely. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay!

Stayed here recently and had a lovely experience. Greeted by David, who was very pleasant, polite and cheerful gentleman. Went straight to the bar, where we were then greeted by Jim, James on a Sunday, and had exactly the same as David. These two made our stay perfect. I asked my partner to get married on our stay, and both David and Jim showed as much excitement as we did. It may not be everybody's place to stay, it's not Michelin starred or a 5 star hotel, but the staff in our case made it just feel like one.

Fantastic stay at The Everglades for the All Inclusive break, all food was made fresh and tasted delicious, all the staff were so lovely polite and nothing was too much trouble! Especially the lovely Bar Man Tony, he made our night! Thanks so much xx
