Hotel con piscina a Weggis

Hotel e paesaggio magnifico, adatto per il riposo lungo il lago per tutto il giorno

The name befits this grand old dame by the lake, for it is a first class, yet relaxed hotel in the most beautiful and tranquil location. And it was my good fortune to have been allocated a 2nd floor lake view room with a large terrace, affording the most stunning views imaginable. The only interruptions to the peace, being the atmospheric sound of the steamer's hooters and the church bells, along with a few ducks! I only had breakfasts at the hotel, which were superb, and with all tastes catered for, as I believe was the case with other meals also. Much quieter and smaller than the city of Lucerne, the location of Weggis was ideal, both for bus connections, and for the boats who regularly called in at the pier, just a short walk from the hotel. From here, Lucerne was easily accessible by boat, as were many other beautiful destinations. Mount Rigi, that is just behind the hotel, can be easily accessed by boat and cogwheel railway from the nearby village of Vitznau, and a trip to Mount Pilatus, via the steepest cogwheel railway in the world, is a wonderful experience affording the most magnificent views imaginable. Whilst a boat trip around the lake, with an essential stop at the beautiful village of Bauen, is a day I can highly recommend also. All in all, I had a wonderful week's holiday, and felt on returning home, that I had been living in some sort of utopian world!

Heidi in the breakfast serving & Michaela in the front desk made our week lovely! They where always friendly and helped us out with different requests with a smile and kindness that made us feel very welcome. The spa area is great, both indoor and outdoor. The gym has a fantastic view over the lake which made it a pleasant place to work out. We also appreciate the private area next to the sea, owned by the hotel, where you can swim in the clear sea. There are sun beds, parasols and a jetty. The Hotel also lent out SUP-boards, kayaks and bicycles for free. We also appreciated the free shuttle service. The three small things that where preventing me to give the facilities and the hotel 5 out of 5 is; 1) The lack of blackout curtains. The lights shines in, both from the street, and also from the sunrises around 6 in the morning. 2) The lack of bed mattress to soften the bed. The beds are very firm. We slept on our blankets for a whole week. 3) And lastly, the lack of AC. Our room was facing north and we got to borrow a fan, so the temperature was after all okey. But I expect that these three simple requirements would exist in the rooms of a four-star hotel.

Rimasi per cinque giorni. Il giorno due ci sentivamo già molto rilassati e come se ci fosse stato molto più tempo. Alla nostra arrivo ci fu benvenuto dal direttore. La nostra camera e bagno erano puliti, puliti, puliti. La camera ha un mini frigo. Le bevande possono essere ordinate dalla ricezione. La vista dalla stanza era del lago e delle montagne. Absolutamente respiro. Le ferries che passano vicino alla stazione barca sono un piacere da guardare. La piscina dell'hotel è stata nuovamente costruita solo lo scorso maggio. Molto simile a una piscina infinita. È anche un impianto per entrare nel lago per nuotare. La colazione è servita in forma di buffet nella Grande Salle, molto leggera e aria con splendide viste sul lago e sulle montagne. Si mangia anche il vostro pasto serale nella Grande Salle, se a metà bordo. Gli abitanti possono anche mangiare nel ristorante Wintergarden o sulla terrazza esterna del ristorante. Il menu a-la-carte è molto diverso. Qualcosa per tutti. Il cibo servito è eccellente servito da un team di guardiani molto efficienti. Weggis è un luogo brillante per una passeggiata o una vacanza visione. Ci sono molti caffè e anche un supermercato. Il servizio di autobus, che si trova vicino alla stazione di autobus, è molto efficiente. I treni sono in servizio da vicino a Vitznau. Sicuramente consigliamo un soggiorno a The Central am See, Weggis, per una favolosa vacanza con un servizio eccellente con ristorante.

I had such a great experience staying here! The view from my room was incredible! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had nice finishes & plumbing fixtures w/ a cute contemporary mountain vibe. Sadly the room did not have AC and it was very hot that week, but they provided me with a fan for my room & bottled waters which was appreciated. I ate dinner at the restaurant on the patio deck that overlooked the lake & town. Had incredible service by the wait staff, very attentive and friendly. Loved my meal & the wine so bought a bottle in the shop & brought back to my room. I didn't check out the pool or sauna, just didn't have the time. I will definitely be back another time!!

La posizione è molto remota, si consiglia di guidare in auto, il panorama è molto bello, anche la piscina dell'hotel è molto bella, adatta per scattare foto ma non permettere ai telefoni cellulari di entrare, non so se no si possono scattare foto di nascosto quando la porta viene aperta al mattino hahaha, l'hotel non ha niente da mangiare, è meglio portare qualcosa dalla montagna. C'è un piccolo supermercato vicino all'hotel per comprare cibo. C'è anche una stazione sciistica dietro l'hotel. Gli skipass non devono essere acquistati in anticipo. Quando acquisti i biglietti sul posto, ricordati di dire loro che rimarrai nel negozio. sconto
