Hotel in zona West End, Washington D.C.

Confortabile - solo negativi sono stati un aria condizionata rumorosa e un frigorifero che congela tutto.

Molto conveniente e confortevole

We had a terrible experience with a nearby hotel after checking in at 3:00 in the morning, so we decided to move out after one night and moved to the Ritz-Carlton. I called to ask if they had a room available on the morning of our student's graduation - clearly upset and distressed as there were four events that day, and we'd had a terrible night - and Nik, the front of house manager, immediately put me at ease. I didn't see how we could possibly check out of the other hotel, get our bags and car, then check into the Ritz-Carlton and still make all the ceremonies and celebrations. To further complicate matters, I was in a wheelchair, which slowed us down and made getting around difficult. But Nik took care of EVERYTHING! Someone was sent to retrieve our bags, someone went for our car, and everything was in our room once all the events were done. There was even a bottle of champagne and some incredibly delicious chocolates waiting to help us celebrate our son's graduation when we got there that night! The room was spacious and well equipped, and the bathroom was a good size (although the shower is on the smaller side - we've encountered this in other Ritz Carlton hotels as well, but it doesn't bother us at all). Everything looks and feels 5-star at this location! Thanks to Nik and his fantastic team, what started out as an unpleasant start to our trip turned out to be an amazing stay, and we are very grateful! I should also mention that ALL the staff we came into contact with at this location couldn't have been nicer. Their front desk personnel, concierge, valet and outdoor staff are incredibly kind and helpful. What sets a Ritz-Carlton apart from every other 5-star hotel is it's staff; I can't say enough good things about everyone we met. The hotel is centrally located, plenty of Ubers are available, and lots of places to eat nearby. Every aspect of our stay was stellar. Won't hesitate to stay there again when we go back. Highly recommend!! *PS - I'm a terrible sleeper and can't sleep if I can hear the drip of a faucet or ticking of a clock, so if you need peace and quiet, request a room overlooking the courtyard - no noise could be heard at all.

Nel campus dell'Università di George Washington, è molto tranquillo intorno a due o tre sentieri dalla stazione di fondo della metropolitana Foggy. È molto conveniente. Il pizza del piccolo bar è buono (non è ancora necessario pagare). L'unica domanda è che la prima volta che ho visto la porta principale, ho pensato che la porta posteriore non osasse entrare. L'hotel è enorme e uno dei più economici intorno a DC. L'aria condizionata nella stanza è un po' rumorosa, ma il tipo di operazione è venuto a dire che è così. Ho chiesto alla caldaia di bollire l'acqua, ma è venuto molto veloce. Il servizio di ricezione è disponibile in un'area di servizio con un'assegnazione di 20 USD per camera per notte, ma è possibile compensare con i pasti all'hotel. Il desk front also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.
