Abbiamo fatto il check-in e ci siamo diretti verso la nostra villa sulla scogliera. La villa si era spostata seriamente, il livello della piscina presentava un dislivello di +|- 10 cm. L'elettricità non funzionava, mancava l'acqua, la piscina non funzionava e l'acqua era torbida... È venuto un tecnico a ripristinare la corrente elettrica che dopo 5 minuti è venuta a mancare di nuovo….. Dopo 2 ore e con una lunga trattativa decisero di cambiare villa, presumibilmente aggiornandola…… Mozziconi ovunque nelle fioriere vuote, chiodi che sporgono dal fondo della piscina…. Per un cosiddetto 5 stelle la manutenzione è scarsa, i giardini mal curati ecc. ecc La carta del menù è molto povera di scelta anche se nei dintorni non c'è nessun ristorante… Molto deludente per un hotel di questo livello Nessuna attività da offrire… La cassetta di sicurezza non è sigillata al muro e quindi non è sicura…. Fortunatamente il personale locale è molto cordiale e disponibile.

Beautifully set over the cliff, the resort offers a spectacular ocean view that comes with the villa. The room is spacious, rustic, and wonderfully decorated. It comes with both tub and shower, mini bar and A.C. The infinity swimming pool and the outdoor patio/lounge is perfect incase you just want to stay in and relax in the villa. Keep your eyes on the ocean for the dolphins. If you lucky enough you may spot them swimming in the morning. The staffs are very warm, helpful and ready to assist your needs. The breakfast in general is delicious, eventhough a little improvement on the Hollandaise sauce that come with the egg benedict can make a better taste next time (it was a little too sour). Another suggestion, maybe you can consider to place the toast on the side instead of with the eggs on top for breakfast, in order to avoid soggy bread especially for room service. Apart from that, it's the place to be to spoil yourself while exploring the beauty of Sumba. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for 12 days at Lelewatu Resort. The experience was great with the view and the service was great! While we were there, we were able to truly rejuvenate our mind and soul with the sound of wave after wave splashing into the shoreline. I would like to praise the service staff there Wanto, Anton, Alin and all the staff who had provided us was great service. Especially Colin who was the operation manager, who will take his time to explain what we can do and experience while we were at Sumba and Lelewatu Resort! With Colin recommendation, we visited the beaches around the area, caves and cliff, paddy rice fields and waterfalls! Thank you for making our wedding anniversary a relaxing memory for us!

During family holiday in Sumba, my husband spent most of the days in the hotel room for busy working. He also tended to only eat 1 meal per day, because breakfast was far from the villa and He didn't have time to go there and back... When we ordered room service breakfast, the housekeeping that was cleaning the room already removed it unbeknownst to my husband and before he could eat it...

We have loved our stay at Lelewatu and feel very grateful to have been able to experience staying there. We stayed in a cliff pool view villa, the view is spectacular, the villa itself is so beautifully designed and very clean. The pool is a nice size, very clean and has such a beautiful outlook. The bathtub is lovely overlooking the ocean and fills up very fast with clean water. The bed is comfortable with soft and clean linen. The staff are all very helpful and kind and we really have enjoyed all meals that have been lovingly prepared and delivered to our room. As we were celebrating our anniversary the staff organised a beautiful table setting for dinner which was such a kind gesture. Although neither of these two things would deter us from staying again they are worth noting. 1 the villa floor itself is noticeably unlevel and tilts down a little towards the back wall of the villa. 2 If you are a surfer this location does prove a little difficult and the hotel itself does not have a boat for transfers nor were they able to supply us with a rental bike that has a surfboard rack. As my husband is an experienced rider and has previous experience of navigating in rural areas using google maps he managed, although the trips to find the waves were not too comfortable without having a surfboard rack. If you have your own car or rent a car with a driver that is familiar with the area this may be fine for you to get to the local surf spots which are all around 30 minutes from the hotel. There is surf at nearby Nihi however that beach is private for hotel guests only. This is an ideal resort for honeymooners, couples of families looking for peace and tranquility.

Nice & neat room, friendly staff, marvelous scenery to enjoy

Beautiful hotel! There are only a few resort type hotel on the islandZ and this worth every buck to spend the day chilling in the room, by the pool and ordering room service. Food quality is great. Staffs are nice. Also there are not many restaurant options on the island. And we were able to see the milky way right from the room. Stunning!

Lelewatu is an example of understated luxury in Sumba Island, which is much off the beaten track compared to other parts of Indonesia. The staff is very attentive but low key at the same time. The restaurant is great, especially on local choices. The villas are spacious with really high ceilings, a great pool and plenty of privacy. Will miss sleeping at the sound of the waves.

Beautiful location and villas, food at the restaurant is good. Service was good until they asked me for an outrageous amount when I asked for an additional blanket. That sort of ruined the experience but everything else was super nice.

This place was stunning! The views, the room, the staff all were top quality. The food could be improved but very good considering the lack of restaurants in the area. Thank you for an amazing stay.

雖然坐了三趟飛機才到，但是絕對值得，風景太美了，服務尤其好，會記住每個人的名字，酒店裡住了很少，包酒店的感覺。

This is our first time to Lelewatu Resort and it's definitely one of the best Resort we ever been to. When we arrived, the staffs were very welcomed and took us to our room. We were happy with the complete amenities and especially the shampoo and soap were personalized. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the authentic Sumba theme decoration in the room. Everything in the room was special such as the cute kimono and matching sandals were one of our favorite. The view from our room is absolutely amazing. We got to see the perfect sunrise in the morning from our bed. We couldn't asked for better view and relaxing sound of the ocean. The next day we tried their breakfast. We loved their homemade croissants and Sumba coffee. They were made fresh. Then for lunch we had their handmade thin crust Pizza and complete Indonesian Fried Rice. My kids definitely enjoyed the delicious pizza and the fried rice was very tasty. We had so much fun enjoying and relaxing by the pool. The gym had a beautiful view of the ocean as well as we worked out. Overall, we had an amazing stay and we wished to stay longer and definitely would come back to stay with Lelewatu again! Thank you to all the staffs and manager to ensure that our stay is memorable.

Great place with kind and helpful peaople. Great thanks to menager Risda and Adhy who took care of us. Resort is after renovation, view is stunning. Staff makes u feel good cared, food is really good with nice prices. Looking forward to come back with our friends
