Wanaka: hotel con bar

Ottimo ostello con una cucina eccellente, pulita e spaziosa. Una gran quantità di spazio frigorifero. Il personale era carino e utile e io ho avuto un buon tempo di chattare al check-in - si sono appena messo un'atmosfera amichevole e aperta. La mia camera era grande - aveva il doppio privato con bagno che era pulito e confortevole con una vista grande sul lago - ha bisogno di una sorta di cortina netta, anche se, come si sentiva molto esposto con le cortine aperte, c'è una strada principale fuori dalla window as well as the carpark Parking was easy and secure on site and it’s right by the lake and a quick walk into town - like 1-2 minutes. You’re right by the food trucks and supermarket so you can get a cheap good feed if you’re not in the mood to cook. Wifi ha bisogno di un miglioramento serio. Non potevo trovare una connessione nella mia stanza senza stare in un particolare punto e anche allora era debole. Deciso di provare la zona del salone ma la connessione era terribile anche lì, quindi è sicuramente una questione a livello ostello. Se dovessi lavorare qui, sarebbe piuttosto difficile farlo.

Un amico e io abbiamo avuto il piacere di rimanere qui nel febbraio 2024. In un luogo tranquillo, abbastanza lontano dalla città, così non era occupato ma abbastanza vicino da camminare. Ignorate le recensioni circa essere spinti a ascoltare una presentazione di tempo condiviso, solo gentilmente diminuire quando offerto e siete lasciati da soli. Ottimo personale alla reception. Anche se non abbiamo usato bar o ristorante è stato molto delizioso. Il nostro appartamento (una camera da letto, il mio amico dormiva sul divano e disse che era comodo) era perfetto. Un salone molto grande, con cucina, cena e balcone. Decor molto delizioso. schermo piatto in salone (puoi usare tubo, Netflix). Camera HUGE (anche con balcone, mobili esterni) e TV Letto di dimensioni reale, lince bellissime. Una zona di vestito (safe), bella bagno con servizi costosi. Un asciugacapelli decente! Perfettamente adatto per la cucina e la barbecue in tutto il resort. La piscina era perfetta, anche una piscina calda e un buon giardino. Ci ha colpito quanto ci fosse tranquillo. Non posso raccomandare questo resort abbastanza e sicuramente rimarrò.

酒店離小鎮中心走路要30分鐘左右，有點遠，吃飯、買東西不開車的話都不是很方便。三個卧室衹有一個衞生間。被子沒有用被套，是拿兩層床單包着的，我覺得很不衞生，因為睡覺的時候很容易直接睡到被子上。雖然有其他酒店也會這樣操作，但我在皇后鎮的酒店使用了正規被罩。而且，有一個床鋪的被子可能是粗心弄錯了，居然包了一個mattress cover，根本沒法睡。不過因為我們不用那張床，所以沒有影響到我們。服務人員態度很友好，不過這個酒店主要是給開房車的人住宿的，8pm以後服務人員就下班了。房間挺大，設施也還行。

We stayed here for two nights in December 2023. Our unit (three bedrooms) was simply huge. A family could live here. It has everything that you would ever need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a washing machine and dryer for clothes etc. The hotel is located about a 3-minute drive from central Wanaka and a 20-minute walk along a nice walking track. The only reason for which I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the main living area got very hot in the afternoon (on a summer day, 20 degrees Celsius). There was no air conditioning, so the room was unbearably hot. The bedrooms that face the other side were much cooler. Then, the next morning, the bedrooms got extremely hot right from early morning and there was no way to cool them down, while the main living area was at a comfortable temperature. The unit could benefit from something to control the temperature. Other than that and maybe the fact that the TV had limited channels and reception cut out a bit, this is a very good place to stay.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don't come here if you want a good time and what you payed for. We paid for 3 queen beds + 1 king bed. All we got was a room with 2 double beds + 1 single bed and an argument with a wall-faced staff member. We talked to a staff member onsite and she tried to tell us we did not need more beds and would fit perfectly in what they gave us. Mate it's not about if we fit or not. We're paying customers and thereby entitled to what we payed for. We tried to explain this to her and she had the nerve to try get us to pay $235NZ for an extra room with 1 queen bed + 1 single bed. We paid for a certain amount of beds and didn't get it and she wanted us to pay even more to still not receive the service. She tried to tell us we told them we only had 1 person staying on our booking form so we showed her our booking confirmation which clearly stated our guest number to be exactly how many people we brought. We even tried to suggest a compromise where they simply bring in an extra mattress. She refused our suggestion and kept trying to push us to pay for an extra room. She deflected all our requests to speak to another staff member, insisting that the manager shared her views. At this point she simply went back to her room despite our attempts to reason. We ended up having to BUILD a bed with two diagonally placed sofas. Upon further inspection of the rooms, we found that the showers were not very clean with spots of mould on the sides and some of the bedroom lights refused to switch on. Furthermore, one of the bedroom heaters did not function. Attached are some photos of the lights and heater.
