We stayed here for two nights in December 2023. Our unit (three bedrooms) was simply huge. A family could live here. It has everything that you would ever need. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a washing machine and dryer for clothes etc. The hotel is located about a 3-minute drive from central Wanaka and a 20-minute walk along a nice walking track. The only reason for which I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the main living area got very hot in the afternoon (on a summer day, 20 degrees Celsius). There was no air conditioning, so the room was unbearably hot. The bedrooms that face the other side were much cooler. Then, the next morning, the bedrooms got extremely hot right from early morning and there was no way to cool them down, while the main living area was at a comfortable temperature. The unit could benefit from something to control the temperature. Other than that and maybe the fact that the TV had limited channels and reception cut out a bit, this is a very good place to stay.

Il posto era abbastanza bello - camere decente, zona di soggiorno, tubo caldo (anche se ci sono volute qualche ora per riscaldare il passato di lukewarm), e il colazione era delizioso. Ma il proprietario ha preso la sconfitta dalle gambe della vittoria alla fine - siamo entrati per prendere una tazza di caffè poche ore dopo averla controllata, e sono stati brutti dicendo: ”Sei come un penny cattivo, non puoi sbarazzarci” (non in modo leggero) e ammonito: ”Non dovresti essere qui. Altri ospiti stanno arrivando. Devi andartene il prima possibile.” Immagino sia giusto dire che gli ospiti non dovrebbero sviare dopo aver fatto il check-out, Ma non c'era bisogno di questo livello di rudezza per risparmiare 5 centesimi su una tazza di caffè.Una vergogna, lascia un cattivo gusto nella nostra bocca dopo un altro piacevole soggiorno

Siamo stati a Wanaka per due notti appena dopo Natale, quindi l'alloggio era breve da venire. Grande valore per soldi e così vicino al centro per l'accesso a ristoranti e negozi. La camera era spaziale con piano terra e l'accesso a piccoli patio. La cucina aveva tutto quello che ci serviva e la doccia era grande.

The welcome was very pleasant and the room we were allocated was indeed the quiet room we’d requested upon booking. We were upstairs with something of a lake view in a room that looked as though it had recently been re-furbished. The room was clean and comfortable and access to the car park via a set of stairs from the corridor made loading and unloading much easier than if we’d had to access our room from front reception, in what is quite a large building. There is a bar adjacent to the front entrance and a restaurant at the rear (which was closed during our stay) and I don’t know what impact they would have had upon our desire for a quiet room had they been going full swing of a weekend.

Questo era il nostro secondo soggiorno, e spero non il nostro ultimo; il personale era amichevole e molto utile, per consentirci di entrare in anticipo. Abbiamo avuto un unico alloggio (sovvento quattro), divano confortevole, bellissimo ponte solare, lavatrice e asciugatrice, bagno spa, grande cucina, frigorifero/congelatore di dimensioni piene, forno, lavastoviglie, parcheggio assegnato e molto conveniente per la città (3 minuti a piedi). Tutto in ottima condizione. Vicino a molti ristoranti, camion da pranzo e supermercato.

Molto buona posizione è anche buona per andare al lago Vanaka e il supermercato è a dieci minuti.E il proprietario è molto ricco, e l'hotel ci aiuterà a tenere le finestre della macchina con i pannolini per evitare il ghiaccio è molto intimide.Dovrebbe essere tutto dentro la stanza. La pulizia e la pulizia sono davvero soddisfacenti!La mattina alzati e apriti la porta e c'è un gatto che inizia a entrare e non andare a mangiare il mio hamburger.

UUtente ospiteDopo aver attraversato la bellezza alpina del Passo di Haast, e scendere SH6, passando attraverso il Lago Hawea a Wanaka, ci è stato chiesto di trovare il nostro alloggio. L'alloggio è situato nella parte meridionale della città, fuori Ardmore St, il fronte idrico, guidando su Helwick St. passava diversi negozi su entrambi i lati, attraversando due strade Brownston e Upton, a Warren Street, in basso, a sinistra. Ci è stata data una camera spaziosa, con un letto re grande, e un'area seduttiva esterna con vista verso il Cardrona Resort e il Parco Nazionale di Aspirazione. Ci sono state alcune aree, la cucina/la cena e una sala da pranzo/sala, condivisa con altri residenti e una ricezione maneggiata a mezzogiorno fino a tardi pomeriggio/prima sera. Le strutture erano insolite, ma perfettamente confortevoli e tranquilli sul bordo del centro, con ristoranti e negozi all'interno di una semplice passeggiata per la strada Helwick. Abbiamo avuto tempo di nuotare nel lago nei due giorni che abbiamo soggiornato a Wanaka, entrambi giorni caldi circa 30c a mezzogiorno, alleviati dal immersione nelle acque del lago glaciale. L'esperienza, contrariamente alla nuoto quotidiana di acqua fredda, ci aveva introdotti per il ritorno nella baia di Plenty, era notevolmente più chiara, non più boogievole come acqua di mare.

He pointed out places of interest and things to do in the area. The unit was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Comfortable bed, shower over the bath but great pressure.

UUtente ospiteRight in the center of Wanaka, only a few minutes walk to the lake and restaurants, with a huge supermarket right beside the motel. Beautiful wood interior, but you must be aware of the downside as they can create wood cracking sound during sunrise when temperature gets higher, so don't be alarmed by that. The beddings are comfortable, wifi is fast and shower is strong. Overall this is a great value and convenient place to stay in Wanaka
