Lumpy beds, warm rooms. To be fair to the hotel, it was about 30 C (85F) for several days. But my room faced south and in full sun, and when I got there at noon the curtains were wide open so it was about 44C in the room. Yikes! I closed the curtains and turned on a small portable AC unit, but it didn’t cool it down. Then I discovered a shade curtain you could lower (why didn’t they mention that at check in?), and by 9 pm the room had cooled down to a reasonable temperature. The mattress and pillows were lumpy, the shower was open to the room and sprayed water out of the shower (despite my best efforts). Charged +30Eu for early (noon) check in but after an international flight, I needed a shower! even if the room was a sauna at that time. OK if staying there for a conference, but otherwise, pass!

Stayed 1 night on a Leger Holidays tour. Before arrival our guide phoned ahead to book our group of 26 people into the restaurant for dinner. We were told this would be fine and there would also be porterage for our luggage. Plus as we had an early start in the morning a take away breakfast would be supplied and we would be given a list to select our choices. However on arrival the receptionist knew nothing of the conversation stating that her colleague had gone home and no one knew anything about the prior arrangement. So no porterage and no take away breakfast list. The issue of porterage was quite a problem as there was a fair number of elderly people in our group and some of the rooms had no lift access. (In fairness the receptionist did carry one elderly gentleman's case to his room) Our group was told to go to the Restaurant at 6-30pm for dinner which we did only to be told we weren't dining in the restaurant but in the bar area. We had no proper menu to look at and on complaining we were given a hastily prepared sheet of paper with limited choice and no prices. Once again we complained about this and another sheet of paper appeared with prices. We noticed that we were being charged the same price for our limited choice menu as the Ala Carte menu so why couldn't we be given the Ala Carte menu in the first place and sit in the proper restaurant? By now it was 8pm and a couple of our group had given up on the idea of eating and had gone to bed. The service we received was also third rate. Soup arriving after the main course and no spoon to eat it with, table water was requested which arrived but nobody thought about giving us glasses to drink it, food arriving luke warm/cold. Another 2 members of our group gave up with dinner and decided to eat bar food at the bar. They ordered their food together and one arrived an hour after the first. When we finally managed to track down a duty manager and brought all the above to her attention she was unsympathetic and quite obnoxious in the manner she responded to an elderly person who raised the difficulties the hotel were obviously having in catering for a group. You would think a hotel would welcome a group of 26 into their restaurant with open arms and provide a better service. The chaotic feel also extended into the rooms. Although they were of a fair size they were a little dated. The bathroom had a very deep bathtub that was quite hazardous to get in and out of even for a tall person like myself and there was no safety grab rails. There was a kettle in the room but no English breakfast tea and paper cups. (The kind of thing you would expect in a budget hotel) In fairness the take away breakfast was good and so large it also sufficed for lunch as well. Sadly any plus points were outweighed by the appalling treatment our group received the previous evening.

I would rate De Reehorst as somewhere between a three and four star hotel. The ground floor looks quite interesting although I did not make use of the bar or restaurant. The room I stayed in for one night was pretty basic. The best thing about it was the television. The pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom has seen better days.

Dopo quattro giorni di soggiorno, devo perdere questo. Da 30 anni, ho visitato regolarmente il Buunderkamp, ho ”penduto” in questo posto, vivendo all'estero. Prima il Bilderberg Group e ora da anni un Fletscher Hotel. La suite; nicchie accanto al cuscino principale pieno di viscosità e capelli, Le sedie rosse piene di padelle, il divano troppo grasso per sedersi, la parte principale rossa del letto come il frigo sporca, quindi questo è sotto il livello. Gli mattoni sotto il lato non sono posizionati molton o qualcosa che protegga il mattone. Le lame sono così strette che non possono essere inserite sotto il materasso, quindi domani, sei proprio sul materasso, come è successo anche in agosto, non si parla di letti di ricamo, di copertura e Kees è pronto. Non si fa assorbimento oggi e domani non si fa il letto, ma solo dare 2 nuovi asciugamani e spiegare il cestino. Due giorni di più abbiamo dovuto chiedere asciugamani. Pulizia del bagno (non che fosse sporco) non è stato fatto nemmeno 2 giorni. Il lavastoviglie non ha chiuso ...zat nl pieno di sporco. Il balcone non è stato inserito per sempre. Suite sul lato soleggiato, la degradazione è peggiore nelle finestre piene di mani e dita grasse. NUOVO RICONOSCIUTO. Il ristorante: personale abbastanza amichevole e domenica abbiamo mangiato delizioso. Ma dopo qualche giorno abbiamo avuto la sensazione che letteralmente tutto viene comprato in modo completo e finito e riscaldato, ma posso sbagliare. Il colazione è molto fondamentale e a partire dalle 9 ore si può dimenticare la salata di frutta o frutta. Ham, formaggio & co viene così freddo dal raffreddamento, è anche acquistato lato pronto tagliato, non si ottiene i colli. Caffè macchine sono costantemente in asciugare. Prezzo € 150 per giorno/camera con colazione. Cosa ci piace: la struttura, la posizione, i pulsanti normali di luce, un riscaldamento che si può semplicemente aprire quando si ha il freddo e una chiave normale della porta.

L'ambiente è bello come Little Switzerland e il ristorante con una stella Michelin che esiste da 50 anni è ancora più eccezionale. Puoi camminare e andare in bicicletta intorno all'hotel e vivere vicino alla natura, che è comodo e confortevole.

This is a beautiful hotel to stay but sadly I had a bad encounter with a rude receptionist who called me a liar after asking for change for the car park. A male receptionist stepped in to resolve the situation without a problem. The female receptionist just kept smirking and rolling her eyes! Just rude. I asked to speak to the manager who basically sided with the receptionist. Waste of time speaking to her. I then paid €7.90 for a basket of fruit, I had to chase them up for the fruit and when it arrived it was pathetic! Just not worth the money. I will not be staying here again.
