Quando sono arrivato, la signora al check-in, assieme a un'altra che sembrava essere la responsabile del servizio di pulizie, mi hanno chiesto (in francese) se volessi le pulizie della camera, lamentandosi chiaramente tra loro che non parlavo francese ma solo inglese e loro, soprattutto la seconda, non capivano nulla di quello che stavo dicendo (che volevo esattamente le condizioni sottoscritte sul contratto ******* ssnza stare lì discutere di altro). Essendo un albergo, che ha tra le caratteristiche ha la "pulizia quotidiana ", e non un B&B, ho pensato di aver capito male io e ho pensato a qualche servizio accessorio e ho detto di no. Ma poi ho scoperto che il servizio di pulizia (quotidiano) non é mai stato effettuato. Può un albergo di una grande catena internazionale chiedere al check-in se un cliente vuole o meno un servzio pagato e incluso nel trattamento e, credo, previsto dalle Leggi francesi sul turismo? Bah.

Gli spazi a disposizione sono minimi, con tre valigie in camera è necessario fare il salto agli ostacoli. Il riscaldamento ha funzionato 2 ore in tre giorni.

Stayed here as part of tour to watch the rugby at the nearby stadium. Fantastic location, just a 15-20 minute walk to stadium and 5-10 walk to local shopping centre with all the big stores including an Auchan, and also where the Metro station is located. Like elsewhere in France most places closed on a Sunday so the area is very quiet but only a 10 minute ride on the Metro and you are in the centre of Lille, with plenty of squares with great bars and cafes. The staff at the Ibis were lovely, friendly and very helpful, but had great sympathy for them on the Saturday evening as the bar was very crowded as people returned from the rugby match, wanting drinks and pizzas, I’m sure they would have appreciated more staff. We had a great pizza and watched the evening matches which were shown on the TV and large screen. I thought, from reading reviews, that breakfast may be disappointing but no, a lovely surprise, not busy and plenty of choice, choice of teas, fruit juices and coffee , pastries , some fruit and a small cold meat selection, and a small hot choice of bacon, sausages and scrambled egg, the egg was not very warm but just a very small complaint, thoroughly enjoyed everything! I would not hesitate to recommend this Ibis hotel, and a big thank you to the staff.

There's no way this is a 3 star hotel. No amenities, nothing! Small rooms, typical European, the way I see it, but damn, nothing, besides beds and heh, bed sheets. No fridge, but hey, where would you actually put it?! Nice staff, and decent bar area, but other than that I wouldn't recommend this for more than a day.

We stayed here during La Braderie weekend and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful , both at reception and their cafe restaurant pizzeria. Very useful for access to central Lille as metro station only 10 mins walk and the hotel has car parking

We spent a weekend visiting Lille and this hotel was perfect! It is very close to the metro station (villeneuve d’ascq - hotel de ville). The only trouble was finding the reception! There are 2 parkings, however the reception entrance was not indicated on the signboard and it was difficult to find. After several attempts, we decided to ring the bell of the bigger car park and the gate was opened. The room was small, but it was clean. I had requested a room quiet and on a high floor and we were given one on the first floor, on the side of a road. Luckily it was quiet, however I would have preferred a third floor room. Breakfast is ok, the only thing is that the receptionist had to deal with the reception duties and look after the breakfast (maybe take one extra person for a couple of hours during breakfast would be a good idea). Recommended!
