L'unica cosa buona è che ha il parcheggio gratuito sotto l'hotel ed è in centro, anche se a noi non è servita questa cosa perché siamo arrivati alle 21.30 e tutto intorno era un deserto. Proprio accanto c'è un grande supermercato con panetteria. Ha un distributore di bevande calde a buon prezzo. Però l'arredamento, ma anche la struttura, è vecchiotto ed essenziale. Per una notte va bene, ma non di più. La camera a due letti era piccola, ha un bagno ed un altro vano piccolo solo con wc. La porta esterna della camera è strana, sembra quella di un capannone e quelle interne sono vecchie, come l'arredamento e le piastrelle del bagno. Vero è che i gestori, gentili in verità, sono fan dell'America, degli anni Cinquanta e degli attori di Hollywood, ma mi sembra troppo. Non ci tornerò.

We were there to overnight on our way back from Perpignan to Calais so didn’t want anything fancy , just clean and comfortable. It was clean and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was dangerous and a disaster . The shower was minute, the shower thermostat veered from freezing to very hot and back again. The shower tray leaked so we had to use towels on the floor to absorb the flood . The plug in the wash basin stuck down so the only way to .empty the basin was via the overflow. All this happened late in the evening. I reported the problems in the morning and was offered a complimentary coffee as compensation, I refused . Yesterday I returned the .’ Happiness ‘ questionnaire highlighting the problems. The automatic reply thanked me for my positive comments !

Stayed for one night on way back towards Calais- was ideal for a stopover. Hotel is in a small industrial estate with ample parking and convenient to get to. Two nearby restaurants - the pizza restaurant was good. Bar in the hotel comfortable. Reception staff very helpful and communicative. The double room was big enough and clean, good shower. Breakfast ideal. Overall great value.

Buona permanenza con il minimo di prestazioni di cui abbiamo bisogno e personale piacevole e molto investito. Prezzi moderati, non è un hotel di lusso, ma c'è tutto ciò che è necessario a prezzi moderati, che è una scelta ragionevole in termini economici.

This was our first time to stay in a Campanile Hotel and we were under the impression that they were normally of a higher standard than other Motorway convenient hotels This is definitely not so. In view of Covid 19 we were a little apprehensive of a hotel stay but it was necessary as we were travelling from North Wales to the south of France. As we are of the venerable age with underlying health issues we decided to take our own food for the two day journey, After booking in with a not the usual nice French welcome we receive each year we went to our room which they stated was a quiet room. It was in the block closest to the Motorway. The whole of the outside of the premises looked shabby and our room, No 24, had a massive crack in the toilet bowl, (not very hygienic) and two holes in the bathroom wall where the towel rail had fallen off at some time. In view of the fact that we had brought sandwiches as we didn't know the restaurant situation in France, and our vulnerability, we asked if we could just sit down at one of the many empty tables outside and eat our sandwiches. We were told that ”IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE” !!! There was one chair in our room so we sat on the chair and the bedside cabinet. It was extremely hot and the air con was not working in our room or in the neighbour's room. The neighbour called reception and a man called round and insisted it was working. It was warmer in the room than it was outside!! In the ”Cheaper” hotels we have always had security gates, there were non here. I would definitely not recommend Campanile Vierzon and will not be staying there again
