Globalmente grande esperienza. Il personale dell'hotel è amichevole e utile. Le camere hanno storia e il lobby ha un ambiente di alta classe. I guardiani sono andati sopra e oltre diverse volte. Le camere, mentre accoglienti e confortevoli, sono un po ' date. Non dire le cose si sentono vecchie e decrepite, piuttosto si può dire che la stanza non è stata aggiornata in un certo tempo. Il servizio in camera da colazione è stato eccellente. La posizione è centrale e facile da raggiungere dai locali hotspot. I bagni in camera erano di alta qualità. Il letto è molto comodo.Ci è piaciuto il nostro soggiorno.

We decided to go to Vancouver for Christmas and new year 2023 with my family. the snow had made it extremely difficult to get to Vancouver from Atlanta Ga and to connect in Toronto. WestJet lost my wife's ticket and even though she held the ticket to the plane, they would not let her in. so we got separated. my wife found only one ticket the next day so she insisted that I go so we can be actually together on Christmas. I took all the luggage and my passport and headed on to Vancouver. after 9 hours, including a 3-hour delay on the runway, I arrived at the hotel at 3 am. I can't tell you how miserable I felt.  I was sleep deprived, hungry, and emotional as I did not have my family on Christmas Eve and ETC. Nonetheless, I was happy to arrive at the hotel, so I can take a shower and order some food. I went to check in and showed my passport and it was all good until James asked for my credit card. I took my phone out to tap for accidentals since all my cards are on my apple pay. He said I have to have the actual card if I want to sleep there tonight. I told him we have fully paid through Expedia for 9 nights and my wife has the physical cards, but she'll be here in the morning. James said it was hotel policy and I can't even be on the property anymore. i asked to speak to the manager and he yelled at me ”I am the manager”. all of a sudden two security guys show up and I was speechless. these guys did not say a word. although I felt like they felt sorry for me.  I could not believe how we got escalated this far. So after 10 minutes of trying to reason with James, he agreed to let me sleep on a two-person couch in the basement lobby. they had good couches in the main lobby. but he said I have to be under his supervision. at 6 am he woke me up and I have to get up as guests were arriving. I told him I was one of his guests and he said we'll see. The next day, the day manager said hello and heard what happened. That was literally it. they all moved on. So to be clear, we had paid in full to a Forbes 5-star hotel, and this hotel treated us like nobodies because i did not carry a physical card at the time. I understand you have policies, but whatever happened to customer service? How much damage can I do? you cant have a 25-year-old guy in a black suit run your customer service department who lacks simple principles of customer service and understands the grey in black and white policies.  Honestly, this probably falls back on corporate's lack of training and lack of recruitment of top talent. I really hope that the brand manager reads this review and does something about it.

Il paradosso è stato finora la migliore esperienza di ospite e servizio che abbiamo avuto negli anni, dalla ricezione, dal servizio in camera al valletto. Sono amichevoli, estremamente utili, ci sono dettagli che non penserete mai a pavimenti riscaldati nel bagno, aria floreale filtrata nel lavandino. Proprio nel centro della città, tutto è a piedi, le camere sono assolutamente un'oasi nel centro di una metropolitana.

Great location with outdated room. Swing door lock was missing. AC is not working (maybe I’m not using it properly). Biggest issue is noise level. It’s 12:26am and there is loud music sound coming from somewhere non stop for the last 3 hours. My room is on 13th floor. I don’t know if it’s because Friday night and maybe it’s from a bar at the ground level. Don’t people sleep here. Next time I’ll find another hotel. Vancouver was great tho After a call and a personal visit at the front desk, finally the noise stopped around 1:05am. It was from a rooftop party. I don’t think I can sleep tonight as I’m wide awake dealing with this issue. The following day, checked at the front desk and found out that on the weekends, there are parties on 15th floor rooftop between Thanksgiving and year end. I was able to switch room to 7th floor and the problem disappeared the following 2 nights. I loved the location and people were friendly but just beware that you may have to deal with loud music if you were to stay on 13,14th floor (maybe 12th floor) on the weekends in Nov/Dec.

This hotel is SUPERB in every way. Their location is within walking distance to one of the train stops (we didn't use, but its 5 minutes away), a short 10 minute walk to the cruise terminals/seawall. We stayed 2 days prior to an Alaskan cruise and everything was amazing. The level of service was genuine and fantastic. So often these days you can feel like someone is ”going through the motions”. That is not at all the case here. The front desk greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and was so personable. The hotel is beautiful! A historical building restored beautifully both inside and out. The lobby area is amazing with dark beautiful woods. We were upgraded from a standard room to one of the largest standard rooms, overlooking the museum directly across the street. Upgrades are amazing, but just know they aren't always possible! Food - We at breakfast both mornings in the lobby lounge. Which saying sounds odd... but it is such a cozy spot. Food and service, again were fantastic. Room Service was also delicious! Concierge was so genuinely interested in ensuring we enjoyed out time in Vancouver! I look forward to a return trip where we will likely include some time back at the Hotel Georgia and some time in Whistler as well. Thanks to all at the Hotel Georgia for making our two days such an incredible experience!

Although we booked an ADA-accessible room months in advance, we did not find out until 3 days prior to check-in that the hotel had no ADA rooms for families needing two beds. It took a number of phone calls for the hotel to come up with a solution for us which was to book two rooms (one King ADA and another King room) at the JW because the Douglas was completely booked. This option would cost our family and additional $2,300 over our stay. As there were two cruise ships in port and a marathon that weekend, I was unable to find any other hotel with availability at that late notice. Thankfully our son is able to transfer and my husband was able to assist him enough to make the room work but it was a huge inconvenience and stress I did not need. We are loyal Marriott rewards members and were very dissatisfied with how little the staff seemed to care. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the location but it is ridiculous there are no ADA rooms with two queen beds in either the Douglas or JW and even more ridiculous this isn't noted on the website. Reservations should have contacted us immediately so we could make other arrangements. Not every family with a wheelchair user is going to be able to make this work.

Due fattori positivi: - la posizione, comoda per girare la città e vicino ad un centro per il noleggio biciclette; - si dorme bene: materasso comodo e camera silenziosa (al piano 11). Tutto il resto negativo. Non abbiamo trovato la camera pronta alle 21 (doveva esserlo alle 15). Per il check-in ci sono voluti venti minuti (dopo un viaggio di 12 ore pesano molto), perché non trovavano la nostra prenotazione nonostante avessimo presentato un voucher (camera già pagata). Problemi con il pos per convalidare le nostre carte di credito. Al check-out chiediamo aiuto per portare giù le valigie ma, nonostante la loro risposta “sure!” non si è presentato nessuno ed abbiamo fatto da soli. Ma soprattutto segnalo un fatto che ci ha lasciato stupefatti: al rientro nel pomeriggio del primo giorno troviamo la camera non rifatta. La loro risposta è stata che viene pulita solo se richiesto. Quindi letto disfatti, teli bagno non cambiati, insomma camera ritrovata come lasciata la mattina. È la prima volta nella vita che sento una cosa del genere… Infine, ma questo è gusto personale, non mi è piaciuto lo stile: mobilio stile classico di colore scuro, molto “pesante”. Solita moquette per terra (quindi poco igienica), ma questo purtroppo è tipico degli alberghi americani, Alcune luci non funzionavano. Bello invece l’affaccio sui grattacieli di downtown dall’undicesimo piano.

Appartamenti con cucina e utensili da pranzo sono molto adatto per il soggiorno di una famiglia di vacanze; la posizione è nella parte occidentale di Vancouver, che è molto piccola e non c'è problema di camminare in centro ovunque. Ci sono anche bagagli con chiusura password sotto. È molto buono. Il rapporto di prezzo è anche evidenziato in questa città di consumo a Vancouver. L'unica cosa che deve essere spiegata è che le connessioni di posta in arrivo richiedono un check-in online (nessuna ricetta nel senso stretto dell'hotel) sono spesso incerte, Se non puoi accedere online, è probabile che non ricevi messaggi e altre informazioni che ti vengono inviate dal codice di apertura dell'hotel.

L'hotel è molto timido, molto timido, il cameriere della ricetta è molto timido, il cameriere della ricetta è troppo povero, non può pulire l'igiene per sette giorni, ma manca qualcosa per dire alla ricetta di fare il bagno. Un cameriere maschile debole è venuto nella mia stanza e gli ha detto che non l'ha mandato per giorni prima, La mia stanza è sempre in pomeriggio e la radio è molto alta. Non so perché la stanza sarà così alta. Come ad esercizi antincendio, c'è una spiaggia di tramonto intorno a sé. Ci sono molti ristoranti alla porta, con buoni pannolini, è difficile comprare qui.

È un hotel di oltre 100 anni che si trova vicino alla spiaggia, ma per raggiungere il desktop dobbiamo sollevare il nostro bagaglio 3 passi, Un po' scomodo, ma fortunatamente ci sono 2 ascensori per sollevare le nostre cose, sarà un ottimo hotel se può essere ristrutturato.

L'isola di Granville è un grande luogo per il suo mercato pubblico, gli artigianati e i bellissimi taxi d'acqua che aiutano a raggiungere il centro di Vancouver. La camera era pulita e confortevole, anche se prima del check-out, vidi che la camicia da letto aveva qualcosa che un ospite aveva gettato su di essa, e che la letto era ineguale, con un lato un buon supporto e l’altro un buon sonno, che portava a un sonno cattivo. Il servizio all'hotel era buono, ma il server al ristorante era inesperto o un po' inesperto. Un'altra delusione era che avevano una stazione di noleggio di biciclette che non avevano mai biciclette da noleggiare nonostante la promozione come opzione. In tutto, un buon soggiorno, ma non un buon soggiorno.

Avrei consigliato all’hotel di arrivare tardi quando ho fatto la mia prenotazione un mese o più prima della mia arrivo. Hanno risposto che sarebbero pronti. Hanno risposto rapidamente alle mie altre domande prima della mia arrivo. Quando sono arrivato alle 1:30, il signore del dipartimento mi ha letto. Mi ha fatto un rapido trattamento, mi ha detto qualche informazione sulla zona, se volevo andare a mangiare qualcosa, mi ha dato i documenti WIFI. Sono andato in camera al 9° piano in pochi minuti. Era gentile ed molto efficiente! Come hanno detto altri, l'hotel è più vecchio e mostra segni di indossamento e lacrime da anni di servizio. Forse sono più pratico di molti ospiti, ma non mi preoccupano di queste cose. L'ascensore ha funzionato, hanno due in hotel. La mia stanza era facile da trovare e accedere. Era essenzialmente un appartamento, con una camera da letto, soggiorno, cucina e bagno completo. Più spazio di quanto mi serviva, ma molto bello. Tutto quello che usavo era funzionale e pulito. Il letto era comodo. Ci era un sacco di acqua calda per una doccia. Una delle cose sorprendenti era la vista della sala da pranzo. Era un piano per la finestra su due pareti. Era una vista della baia. Ho visto le navi passare e gli aerei marittimi atterrire. Ho anche avuto un volo di goose vicino alla finestra, così bello da vedere. Non ho ricevuto il nome del tizio che mi ha controllato, ma ho fatto della signora che mi ha controllato. Asna era molto gentile e utile. Penso di avere un ottimo valore per i soldi all'Hotel Tropicana Suite e sarei felice di restare lì in futuro.

We stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!
