I recently stayed at Hotel Grandeur in Valsad, and unfortunately, my experience was not great. Starting with the positives, check-in was smooth, and the rooms, including the bathroom, were clean. However, there was no mat for feet cleaning in the bathroom, which was a small inconvenience. The real issue arose when I requested a towel before leaving the room for some work. When I returned after a couple of hours, I was shocked to find two towels placed on my table. This meant that the staff had used a master key to enter my room without my consent—something I find completely unacceptable in terms of privacy and security. The restaurant, Flame, does not serve any Gujarati cuisine, which was disappointing given the location. I ordered Punjabi food, but it did not meet my expectations in terms of taste or quality. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. On the positive side, check-out was smooth, and Bhavesh Patel at the reception was very helpful and cooperative. He listened to all my concerns regarding my stay and assured me that they would be addressed. Overall, while the hotel has potential, the lack of respect for guest privacy and the underwhelming food experience made my stay less enjoyable. I hope management takes steps to improve these aspects.
