Hotel buono e comodo il servizio navetta ma l’aria condizionata non funziona bene e non è quello che serve per un soggiorno in albergo e quindi bisogna migliorare il servizio e non è giusto che sia così perché non è possibile che non si può avere una camera con aria condizionata e stanza fresca il bagno e molto piccolo……………………………….,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Tutto andava bene e mi è piaciuto. All'arrivo c'era odore di sigarette in camera. Ho apprezzato la colazione cinese. Urumqi ha ora un nuovo aeroporto, più lontano e non raggiungibile a piedi dall'hotel. È necessario prenotare il trasferimento in anticipo. Grazie.

È relativamente vicino all'aeroporto e non c'è niente nei dintorni. L'hotel offre un servizio di pick-up. L'autista prende una scorciatoia ed è piuttosto veloce. È un soggiorno temporaneo durante uno scalo e non c'è altro da fare.

My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage. Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns). For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials. Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

The hotel itself has a great location near to the airport which makes it convenient when transferring flights. The room itself is big, however the bathroom was not functioning properly as the floor went all wet after I took a shower which could be avoided.

It's 16km from urumqi town. Good for transit as it's near to airport with free airport transfers. Need to reserve the airport pick-up a day before arrival and clarify regarding the location for pick-up in the airport. Urumqi airport is huge. I was confused with pick-up location, went to arrival gates instead of departure gate where the hotel pick-up was. Otherwise, the breakfast was great with many choices. There are lots of restaurants and small night market around hotel for meals

The hotel is mostly fine. The only problem is that the air conditioning pretended to be working but was actually in repair, so I didn’t sleep well from the heat. If the reception had informed me of this repair, I would have at least opened the window to let in the cool breeze in local May (I didn’t for fear of street and airplane noise. The deco is rather old-fashioned for a hotel that opened in 2021, with no smart features and some clear signs of wear and tear. The price is not too bad but is still 50% more than a much nicer and “smarter” hotel I stayed near the Chengdu Tianfu Airport. Breakfast buffet has a small but good collection. The millet congee and the tofu sheet salad are not bad! I may or may not come back, but I do hope the staff will keep people more informed of issues.

Hotel Pickup: I arrived at 1:30 AM and contacted the hotel for a pickup, only to be told that they don’t offer pickups after midnight. This was misleading as this was not mentioned on the hotel polict site. I explained that I didn’t have any Chinese yuan on me at the time, and only then did they agree to send someone to pick me up Drop-off: The drop-off service was also disappointing. Their website mentions a "free drop-off," and I requested to be dropped off at 6 PM for my 9:30 PM flight. The reception staff informed me that the last drop off was at 4 PM, which was a surprise since the English version of their site didn’t provide this. This caused inconvenience, and I had to be dropped off earlier than planned Rooms: The carpet in my room was quite old, dirty and with blood stains and hair left behind from previous guests, which was off-putting Cigarette Smell: The first room I stayed in was good, so I decided to return. However, upon my second stay, the room had a strong smell of cigarettes. I reported it to reception, and they simply suggested I "open the window." That didn’t help, and I had to request a room change. Despite the hotel claiming to have “non-smoking rooms,” this was not enforced. The second room still had a slight smoke smell, especially when the air conditioner was on. I was advised by reception that "people smoking in the hallways might be the issue" but if you advertise a smoke-free rooml, the policy should be consistently enforced throughout the property. The lobby also had a strong cigarette smell, and there were ashtrays around Limited English/No English: The staff had very limited or no English skills, even for simple requests like asking for the Wi-Fi password. This made communication difficult Staff: One of the male reception staff was rude when I asked for the Wi-Fi password. He responded with an annoyed tone and rolled his eyes, which is not acceptable behavior for customer service. Another staff member reception seemed quite annoyed me when I made simple inquiries. On a positive note, one of the female staff members -Uyghur descent was quite helpful and assisted me with booking food through the didi app I would not stay here again due to the persistent smell of cigarettes, misleading information, rude staff, and unclean rooms

Not so close to airport as expected as old airport closed. However w some help got picked up and service, breakfast, staff were fine. Next time I may just get off at the metro and walk 15 minutes.

I requested a smoke free room but upon 2300 arrivals we were given a room smells like someone being smoking with a hint of air freshener, the duvet and pillow also smells like cigarettes, we were too tired to make any complaints or request to change to a different room. Reception doesn’t seem bothered with us, very cold and clearly not enjoying his job doing a night shift. Airport pick up is every hour on 30mins past the clock, drop off is every hour starting 0600, then 0700 etc. Bus is small, just about to get all people travelling that time in. Took about 15mins in early morning 7AM. I can imagine there will be some traffic post 7 drop off. Overall, I have stayed in different hotel near the airport with much better amenities. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is a standard hotel with all you could need of. Beds are heavenly, I have never slept so well. Though quite far from downtown, the subway station is nearby and in less than 40 minutes you could reach anywhere. Personnel is nice and helpful.

This is a no frills hotel near Urumqi International airport. Convenient for overnight stay before heading to the international airport. This hotel provides airport shuttle service.

An old hotel with basic amenities. The front desk lady was not kind enough to provide good service to the guests. English only will be difficult.

The hotel staff were very helpful. I was stuck in baggage claim, they helped liaise with the driver to wait for me (through Trip.com's staff - very prompt response and helpful). My ******* wasn't working and they helped me order food. The airport shuttle is every hour, not every half hour. Leaving the hotel on the hour, and leaving the airport outside Gate 3 on Departure level every half past.
