Majestic view of Himalayas from well decorated room with room heater and heated mattress, wonderful experience, serene... Food is very good, staff very courteous, overall... highly recommended for a calm n cozy stay with a magnificent view

This was my second visit to Yak n Yeti at Majhkhali. It's a very pretty place with beautiful rooms . Each room has its private balcony that gives a clear view of the mountain range. The staff are very cordial and helpful. The food and overall ambience are great too. We friends all senior citizens, we're indeed very happy about our stay of 5nights and 6 days 🥂

We stayed at yak and yeti inn for 2 nights. The hotel location is just on road. Easy accessibility still so calm. The environment at the hotel was so positive ***** with delicious food. The birds chirping in the morning instead of the alarm or any honking was one of its kind experience.

This place truly makes an impression on me. Service was excellent. The meals were delicious and especially in desserts my favorite walnut brownie. My time there was wonderful because of the excellent room. My room had a captivating view of Himalayan peaks. The staff were really helpful. Highly recommended Will surely visit again

As soon as I arrived at Yak and Yeti Inn, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff, who made me feel right at home. The inn's rustic charm and traditional architecture, adorned with wooden interiors and stone walls, exuded a sense of warmth and comfort that instantly put me at ease. The rooms at Yak and Yeti Inn were simply delightful. Spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, they offered stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks from large windows that let in ample natural light. The comfortable beds with crisp linens ensured a restful night's sleep, and the modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, and a tea/coffee maker, added to the convenience of my stay. One of the highlights of my stay at Yak and Yeti Inn was the culinary experience. The on-site restaurant served delectable Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines. The cozy fireplace in the restaurant added to the ambience, making my dining experience truly memorable. The inn's serene location amidst the lush greenery of Ranikhet was a true retreat for my senses. I spent my days exploring the nearby trails, enjoying leisurely walks in the pine forests, and immersing myself in the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas. The inn also arranged for a bonfire in the evenings, where I sat under the starry sky, listening to the crackling fire and reveling in the tranquility of the surroundings. The service at Yak and Yeti Inn was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and personalized service left a lasting impression on me. In conclusion, my experience at Yak and Yeti Inn was truly exceptional. This hotel is a great find in Ranikhet. The location, views of the valley and the Himalayas from the balcony is awesome!! The room service by the staff and food at the restaurant (quality, quantity and taste) are all excellent. Thanks to Mr. Devanshu Gangola for sharing his trekking experiences and for great conversations. He provided us with a local taxi to Kathgodam drop for an economical price. Everything at this hotel is of great quality for an affordable price. Great view of Sunrise everyday. We were lucky to view Mt. Nanda Devi and Mt. Trushul from the balcony one day ( very difficult in Summer). We also found great souvenirs of entire Kumaon range and few other close shots of Himalayan peaks. Thanks to the entire staff for great hospitality. Memorable Stay. We would love to come back again.

Hotel Echor - Yak and Yeti Ranikhet is conveniently located at Majkhali - Someshwar Rd, Near Helipad Majkhali Ranikhet, about 9 km from the centre. There is a parking lot offered to all the car owners. There is a cozy restaurant by the hotel. Guests can order the delivery of food and drinks right into their rooms. We had taken buffet breakfast as a part of our package and food was delightful, the service was quick too. The last order in the night is at 09:30PM so keep that in mind if you planning a whole night party kinda place. The Rooms here have a balcony view of the Himalayan ranges and a scenic view of the green arena. The wooden decor and pale ambience give a nice texture to the overall room. Overall i feel the room size is quite small, washrooms too are a little conjusted. Also the Hotel doesn't have a Terrace Garden/View which would have been a lucrative option with the kind of Hill side view they have. The restaurant too has a closed area, an open Terrace would be beautiful. Due to these limitations i believe that the hotel is ok to be picked if the price range is somewhere between 4500-6000 incl. breakfast otherwise for the facilities they offer they would be quite over priced. Overall we had a nice experience staying here for 1 night, next time we would explore some other options if at all we travel here again !

My room has this amazing view of Mt Trishul. It was surreal to wake up to a view like that and have your morning cup of tea. This just calms your soul. The place has amazing food, great interiors and supportive staff.

3 reasons why not to consider Echor Yak & Yeti! 1. Poor service - worse than any hotel one would experience. They won't clean with out reminders. One incident during our 4 day stay was that we left the hotel in the morning around 10 am, and returned back in evening around 5:00 pm to discover that room wasn't truned around! The bathroom wasn't cleaned and the morning tea crockery laying in the room the way it had since morning. When we informed the ***ager he began passing the buck, and then to our horror began repri***ding the staff before us! This must be highly unusual and would be very demotivating for the working staff. 2. Average food and service that starts NO. Their first response to any request is a big fat NO! Specially for simple requests like wanting a simple Paratha for breakfast, instead of having what's on their breakfast - seemed like a dictation to have chole bhature even if one didn't want it. I had to speak to their ***ager at the reception to get a Paratha happen! They didn't have cheese for cheese sandwich!Cheese is a basic ingredient these days, even available at roadside stalls. 3. Overpriced (there are better places in the vicinity which are 50% cheaper)
