My stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an from October 11-13 was marred by several issues. The room had bugs, and when I raised this concern, they offered to fumigate, which was not a pleasant solution. The quality of food was disappointing, as they served recycled leftovers repeatedly. The transportation within the resort using the trolley system was time-consuming, taking 20-30 minutes to reach amenities. The jacuzzi showed signs of rust, and upon arrival, a strong paint smell was present. My friends and I had planned to celebrate their anniversary and another friend's birthday, but due to these issues, we were all compelled to leave early. Our overall experience was far from luxury.

This property is an adults only and extremely suitable if you are wanting that paradise tranquility. You’re able to transport into the other three properties and obtain the more family oriented environment that you seek.
Each property has its own beauty and excitement based on taste.
Highly recommend for those seeking one in one and are open to a bit more of tranquility.

Very nice resort , very quiet though for elderly people it was nice we were able to access the other resorts though.some of the staff act like they did not like their job

Area was clean and service was great.
Food was not warm or hot. Didn't have any flavor. Food was horrible.

I really like going to Sian Ka’an because it is fairly quiet and you can eat dinner at a wide variety of à la carte restaurants each nights. You also have full access to the other three resorts. Had a try relaxing, wonderful time.

Property is nice. Access to all Bahia properties and restaurants (Tulum, Akumal, and Coba). Sian Ka’an in particular is for someone looking for a more quiet /relaxed experience.

The property and hotel staff were truly excellent - it was easily the best resort we've ever stayed at. Special thank you to Estefany in the customer service department for their assistance when ******* lied to us and refused to assistance with a booking problem.
We did have one negative experience with the airport-hotel transfer; the hotel recommended a taxi service that frauded our credit card. I don't necessarily blame them for that company's actions, but I do think it should be noted as guest safety should be #1.

It is far from the beach, it has limited beach axis. It is rocky, and not enjoyable we personally did not like that. It is full of dried leaves on the ground and buried jungly and it’s very small, and the night shows are very limited with an extra charge. The dining was also very limited, à la carte you had to make a reservation prior to dine, which was almost impossible, because some of them required two weeks in advance.
