Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Torun

I have called the hotel to book a room. The price with breakfast for a double room was 400PLN (800PLN two days). The receptionist asked to make a bank transfer of 400PLN to book it, and I did. We arrived in the hotel, made check in and had a nice weekend in the city of Toruń. I would say that it’s a bit overpriced but very clean hotel. The breakfast had everything and once we ordered from the restaurant the food was amazing. On the checkout I was asked to pay 808 (price for two nights plus a tax), which is the full amount. The receptionist couldn’t find my deposit. I had to show her my bank account to believe that I have paid in advance the 50% of the price. Getting here to leave a review, I realise that the price via booking is much cheaper than this one I was offered for the same type of room. Funny thing, the hotel does not provide housekeeping due to Covid except if you request it.

Hôtel bien situé en bordure de la vieille ville, avec un parking pratique et facile d’accès. L’ensemble des prestations est en revanche assez moyen pour un 4 étoiles et nous avons notamment déploré un accueil assez glacial, ce qui s’est accentué lorsque nous avons demandé de réserver un dîner dans un restaurant (4 Pory Roku) : on nous a affirmé que cet établissement ne prenait pas de réservations alors que nous avons vu, à notre arrivée à ce restaurant, que deux tables comportaient une étiquette mentionnant des réservations. A notre retour à l’hôtel, nous avons ensuite vu deux araignées dans la salle de bain : une petite et une autre nettement plus grosse. De telles choses peuvent arriver mais, en matière de qualité de service, l’accueil devrait être nettement plus chaleureux, ce qui est généralement le cas dans ce type d’hôtel….

Le camere superiori sono pulite e pulite fino a quando non vuoi lasciare l'hotel. Il fascino li aggiunge senza dubbio al tono locale di grafica/fotopaper sul letto. Il servizio è molto efficiente e professionale, a partire dalla ricezione, da attrezzi tattici e gentili, e termina con un bel mantenimento di casa. Subsidialmente, l'illuminazione dell'umorismo della stanza è un grande plus. La posizione ”at the gates” di Torunia è favorevole, con una vista piacevole dal piano superiore. Parcheggio ampio e conveniente a un prezzo ragionevole. Inoltre, soddisfatta la richiesta individuale di colazione, il servizio è caratterizzato da una alta qualità. Un certo minus è un regalo di benvenuto al più alto status di Accor ALL. Apprezzo il prodotto locale, ma se l'inserimento è abbastanza modesto, sarebbe almeno valsa la pena includere una lettera di benvenuto.

The hotel is beautifully designed and has a very interesting solution connecting the two buildings - an underground passage allows access from the new part to the restaurant located in the original hotel/mill building. A very interesting element is the information about the history of the place. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were very tasty, our additional request for natural yogurt was even fulfilled. A very nice restaurant, with friendly staff who ensure the satisfaction of even the youngest guests ＜3 The hotel also has access to a parking lot, which is not obvious in Toruń. The facility is wonderfully located right in the old town, but at the same time very intimate - there is no noise from the market, and the music from the hotel's bar stops at 10 p.m. and it is very comfortable to sleep even with the window open.

Hotel Copernicus is a popular place . It can be an all-in holiday resort , offering all the things a holidaymaker would want : swimming pool , spa , fairground type attractions , a ‘beach’ on the banks of the Vistula or it can provide everything required for a business conference . It also features the most amazing breakfast , with so much on offer it’s difficult to know where to start , even offering champagne to drink with it . The food was by far this establishment’s best feature : we had excellent refreshment in the restaurant and bar . Much is made of the design of the building , which is certainly quite unique . However there were other details where I felt the hotel fell short . The bathrooms were beautiful and the walk in shower much appreciated but the quality of the towels lacked something for a hotel of this calibre . Similarly the bed linen could do with improvement . The pillows were small and uncomfortable and the duvet not big enough for the size of the bed . These are all basic things in need of improvement . The hotel , on the banks of the river , is a shortish walk from the town centre and so is handily placed to access the attractions of Toruń .
