Se ti piace la cultura Fujian del sud, vale la pena vivere qui per qualche notte.Le caratteristiche dell'architettura del sud del sud dello stile hotel, la progettazione interna e esterna del cancello e del cortile sono molto rilassanti. La posizione dell'hotel è buona in amore all'esterno. Non sarà troppo confusa da altri ristoranti di bar in giardino. Ci sono molti bar in vicinanza. Si consiglia al barista Dexter e una piccola baracca di guancia vicino. Anche l'esterno è vicino al mare e ci sono alcune attrazioni che possono camminare con il vento del mare. La stanza è ben organizzata nel pianoforte al secondo piano della porta, il letto è molto spazioso e pulito e due piccole scatole sono facili da bere e da bere caffè e guardare il profumo degli uccelli esterni. Esatto, c'è spazio pubblico per leggere e bere caffè per fare il giro di tavolo, e la pioggia fuori può anche giocare con i tuoi amici. The entire journey in E&O is amazing. To be honest it feels like an attraction on its own and one night here is barely enough. They gave me a free upgrade to the corner suite!! I really enjoyed my stay and I wish I could come again next time I’m in Penang :)

E' iniziato brutto. È entrato presto per lasciare il bagaglio e il tizio che ha fatto il check-in era freddo, in piedi, e non si è nemmeno disturbato a rispondere alle nostre piaceri. Quando siamo tornati, un malinteso è stato assicurato. Avevo un incontro precedente, ma grazie per la gentilezza di Suhaila (penso) e del suo manager - hanno scalato la situazione con grazia e plomb. Quel bump da parte, ho avuto un bel tempo. Ero nella stanza 213. Inizialmente ero preoccupato perché ho letto delle questioni di rumore che provengono dal club vicino alla porta, ma sia il club sia il suono sono stato chiuso, non c'erano disturbi. La stanza era bella, e la posizione è sorprendente. Questo hotel è altamente raccomandato. Basta non preoccuparti di pagare un colazione extra. Questo era solo troppo triste. L'abbiamo provato il nostro ultimo giorno in hotel, mentre andavamo presto all'aeroporto. Era vergognoso.

I paid 150 RMB for high tea today and although the product was creative and a bit fun I left hungry. My main issue however was the service. It appears there was no manager on duty because the staff were messing about on their mobile phones and I had to always ask them for things because they were focussed on chatting and their phones. It wasn’t 5 star at all and having managed hotels the service was actually appalling. I found a bit of plastic in one of the dishes and the staff member just took it from me and threw it in the bin. No acknowledgement. Then I was waiting in the lobby for my cab and I can hear front desk staff laughing and messing about. They were only interested in messing about. I feel cheated by todays experience and I hope they get manager back on duty soon because today it was not being managed at all

Choose Ascott Gurney due to the rooftop infinity pool, and it doesn't disappoint, good size with great views. Room also has one of the best views in Gurney. Amenities will be perfect if only have sauna and jacuzzi/onsen. Location is walkable from the malls in Gurney, but on hot days it can be quite tough, through wide road and not too covered sidewalks. Breakfast buffet is quite huge, but I feel taste can still be improved for certain items. Bath amenities: shower gel, shampoo, smells really good and nice. Park in front of the hotel just recently opened and it adds an attraction to Gurney's visitors and also traffic, especially on weekends/public holidays.

The white elevator is very unique to this elevator. Tho it was slow but I don’t mind bec it so chic with glass door. Very unique indeed! Love it though I wasn’t able to take pic. 😒 +++ white elevator, water refilling dispenser, very spacious room & bathroom +++ location was quite away from the main action but there are 2 bus stops nearby, komtar & chowrasta are 5-10mins walk +++ they provide dental kit, small soap, nice shampoo/conditioner & body wash, mugs, electric kettle, safe, ref, ac was functioning very well, room telephone, tv but i did not use it +++ free wifi was good —- reception is not very friendly except for 1 Indian guy who promptly answers whatsapp tho he mistaken me for a guy at first 😄, the chinese receptionist hardly smiles, indian lady seemed to not know anything when you ask about tourist spots (i think hotel people should equip themselves with some knowledge on tourism. I mean there should be basic orientation by management on this. Times had changed and you need to have these extra customer service, just suggesting). —- i was in the assumption that cleaning is daily but i was told every other day but i still need to remind them about it. Entire hotel can use some improvement in the cleaning — no closet inside the room, you just have to hang your stuff —- my view was a huge wall —- soundproofing is bad, very noisy when people close doors or children running around. You hear toilet flushing from nearby rooms —- it was raining when I arrive and nobody offered an umbrella except on the second day when the janitor heard me. That was appreciated very much. It also made me realize that umbrella is a weapon for solo travellers so that made the carrying a little easier —- towels smell mushy maybe bec of rainy season —- sometimes bathroom had some drainage smells —- food choices was a little limited in area unless you walk for like 5-10mins. Overall stay was still on the good side. I had way worst stays than this. I did enjoy my solo trip to Penang and would love to go back. I plan to stay next time near the street art areas where the actions are. I would still recommend le embassy to other travellers.

I stayed for one night at The Chambers Hotel. Though it’s well maintained, it still looks dated but still comfortable enough. The receptionist was friendly enough to upgrade me to family room as my own room type was already full. Wifi is quite strong though it may lag sometimes when streaming videos. The toiletries are relatively sufficient with both shampoo/body soap combo and toilet paper (though there’s a bidet spray). I couldn’t find the hair dryer and was careful about opening drawers as some of them looked old and brittle. It would be good if the furniture could be maintained better. Location-wise, this is a very good location as it’s just opposite the Esplanade. It’s a good location for those who wants to mostly visit points of interest in historical George Town. I picked this location as I needed to take my ferry to Butterworth in the morning and this is just 10 minutes walk away. However, as it’s right next to the main road, there tends to be noisy cars passing by even during the wee hours. Convenience wise, there is a water dispenser in the hotel and there is also a 7-Eleven if you need stuff late at night.

We were looking for a unique hotel that would reflect the uniqueness of Georgetown and were not disappointed. The hotel is in a renovated set of historic shops in the middle of wonderful Georgetown with the owners having done a lot to reflect its heritage. Is the hotel perfect, maybe not - our room (Argus Suite) was relatively dark, the bathrooms are not always perfectly designed - but this for me is perfectly acceptable knowing you are staying at a historic location. Do I remember all the typical large chain hotels I stayed at - no. Will I remember the Seven Terraces - yes.

Nous avons tout de suite été impressionné par la beauté de l'hôtel, par son architecture ancienne et authentique : cet hôtel et la chambre ont un charme tout particulier qu'on ne trouve pas partout. Merci à Madame Jane qui s'est manifestée à nous et qui, soucieuse du bon déroulement de notre séjour, nous a arrangé une découverte express de Penang avec Monsieur Lau (salutations à vous deux si vous lisez le commentaire !) ; une découverte à la carte de la ville, de ses monuments et de sa gastronomie, que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous espérons revenir bientôt ! We stayed at You le Yuen this summer in early August. We were immediately impressed by the beauty of the hotel, by its old and authentic architecture: this hotel and the room have a special charm that you cannot find anywhere else. Thank you to Mrs. Jane who came to us and who, concerned about the smooth running of our stay, arranged for us an express discovery of Penang with Mr. Lau (greetings to you both if you read the comment!); an à la carte discovery of the city, its monuments and its gastronomy, which we greatly appreciated. We hope to return soon!

When I came there on a rainy day around chinese new year, the old guy at the reception shouted : ” fully booked” agressively, and then when I show him the booking on my phone from Hotels.com, he was a bit kinder, he grumbled about Hotels.com and then offered me a room without window without even offering a discount. I refuses because it wasn't what I had payed for, then he told me they had an other hotelandI could stay there but I had to wait for a guy with a car coming soon to drive me there, I waited for more than an hour then he drove me to the other side of the city to an hotel really crap (foto) and an other room wirhout window, I was really furious, I told then, then emailled them I wanted to cancel and get a full refund, they never replied. As soon I found a new hotel I contacted Hotels.com, they could not reach the hotel, they promised to do their best but 3 days later they had done nothing they even made a confusion with another hotel I had booked thru them, they send me messages every 5/6 days saying they still could not reach the hotel but they keep up trying, and then 2 weeks passed and nothing more, I asked them what was going on: They said they could not reach the hotel and in this case their politic was :no refund! And generously they offered me a 10$ credit! So on Hotels.com they can book for u a room in an hotel already fully booked, and then if the hotel do not reply at your request it can gleefully going away with the money and rent rooms that do not exist! In the normal world, in a justice suit if a party doesn't show up at the court he will lost, the absentee is always wrong, with Hotels.com it's the opposite!

Absolutely terrible. I walk in at 10am, and the guy at the counter does not welcome me, but instead asks for over 100myr. Poor customer service from him, he maybe be new but it would be worth that he gets some training on how to deal with customers. My first room was very dirty. There were stains around the bed, there were stains on the towel, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly, it very disgusting. The cleaners did not look like official cleaners as they were not dressed in uniform. The cupboards were dusty. I asked to move room, and the lady was very kind and moved room. However this room smelt of cigarettes!!! It was vile. Again there was same problem with the room not being clean. I felt incredibly disgusted because whose spit and body fluid could In that room. I instead checked out and found that the manager was rude to his staff. I did not get a refund on my room but did end up with all the extra cash I had to pay.

L'ostello è in buona posizione che è sicuramente. È anche molto economico e i letti sono confortevoli con buona ventilazione. Bagni non erano così puliti. Non hanno fornito asciugamani, si può affittarli per 2RM. Ho un cappello sporco e quando ho chiesto un nuovo, il proprietario ha detto che il loro custode è fuori oggi e mi ha dato una copertina pulita per mettermi su di me. In generale, ho avuto un buon soggiorno (solo una notte) ma questo posto ha bisogno di un po' di pulizia.
