Mercure Penang is located at Tg Bungah.Convienience to go to town and Batu Feringghi.The room is clean.My room was facing seaview.Beautiful scenery.

Very nice sea view from the room. Limited parking, need to park at building beside which is Tanjong Point.

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel with my daughter and we had a lovely experience. The view from our room was beautiful—my daughter especially enjoyed looking out and taking it all in. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to stay again in the future!

This hotel is one of the best located on Penang if you’re interested in spending time on the beach. You literally walk out of the door and down some steps and you’re on the beach. It’s also pretty clean with hotel staff looking after any discarded rubbish in the area. Food was ok. Room service was a bit of a let down though as they took a really long time to deliver and made a couple of mistakes.

Unfortunately, my stay here didn't meet my expectations. The beach area was not well-maintained, and the service from the staff was not attentive. Additionally, the breakfast buffet had the same options every day, which got repetitive. Hopefully, the management will take these issues into consideration for future improvements.

Mercure Penang has been my primary choice every time I visit Penang. However I noticed the condition is getting poor. I can't really sleep for the 1st night as I can hear very clear people talking and laughing next door. My room type is a connecting room, the sound insulation is so poor, I can hear easily the sounds via a connecting door. Suggest the management can sleep a night to experience yourself. The room has ants and lizards though. The breakfast is not good in variety, and mediocre taste. The egg station has no crew at all times, even asking then have wait for long time to out from kitchen. The quality U can see from the picture. And because it's always no crew, I see the birds can freely eating the food, the other picture shown.

Good stay in mercure hotel . Room is spacious, clean and comfortable bed and pillow .

Pleasant check in and check out. Parking was easy. Staffs were helpful. Views very nice. Can do more to earn 5 star.

I came here alone for staycation. Just need a rest from hectic life. I book for 1 night and plan to move to another hotel for the next day. However coz the bed is super comfy and room also with modern looks, I decided to extend for another night. Really enjoyed my stay. The only things I dislike coz the tv channel does not have much option. For staycation I love if the tv has many channel coz I just wanna stay in bed and enjoy watching movies. Maybe the hotel also can consider to add device that allow screen mirroring so I can play my fav movie on the tv

we took the deluxe ocean view but we got our room at level 1 which views blocked by trees. Room comfort and they provide facet dispenser water instead mineral bottles. Beach water not that clean, also lot of shells and rock so better to walk w shoe. Need to drive out for foods, not convenient for walking distance.

We had a very pleasant staycation here. Definitely will repeat next time but with Ocean view room hopefully. Buffet spread for breakfast was good too and not too crowded with people. Beach access is very close and clean too. Overall besttt staycation in Penang! 👍🏻🤝🏻

Rats at the pool area. This is the worst Mercure I've been to in Asia, it's usually good but this one is horrible.. Blood on the sheets, wifi was so poor, had to buy data after complaining twice, safe didn't work at first. Ants in the room. Service staff were excellent! They were very friendly and super helpful... My experience with all the staff at the hotel was very positive. This review is clearly for the bad condition and neglect of the hotel.

Hotel by the beach. Not the most beautiful beach tho. Normal 4 stars hotel I guess. Got ready water filter in the toilet providing drinking water to drink.
