This Hotel was conveniently located and easily to found. The room very comfortable and was well equip with water boiler, filter water, ice box safe box, hair dryer.My stay was very enjoyable. The bed was large and very comfortable.Reception Staff very friendly, fast and obliging. I was very happy to be given an early check-in. Love the beautiful beach,the swimming pool are great also.walking distance beachside to nice cafe and a Chinese temple.

Everything was adequately good. Allowed early check in and late check out. However, buffet spread was supposed to end at 10.30am, but everything was taken away starting at 10.20am. The restaurant staff seems to be in a rush to settle their tasks eventhough guests were still having breakfast.
Also, there was a private event (festival) held during our stay. The hotel facilities-gym, pool and access to the beach were limited/closed for this event. The management shouldnt stop paying guests to enjoy the facilities, and even so, they must be informed about this upon booking. And it was super loud too! Not relaxing at all!
The hotel is managed by Accor, so the standards are maintained. Just some glitches that spoiled our trip.

2nd time to Mercure Penang Beach Hotel and service was excellent from the front office to service personnel from the restaurant to housekeeping. Their undivided attention warms us and a top list on our next trip to Penang.
Kelvin, the restaurant manager was helpful with dining tips and advice, Iza from the front office always put on a warm smile greeting her guests, it makes you feel at home. Not only the service was excellent, and the beach within walking distance was amazing nice to dip in, or for water sports.
It is a great hotel to host your party or family holiday

Amazing views of the andaman sea whilst enjoying breakfast on the patio. Private beach area however no swimming due to jellyfish
Very spacious and comfortable room.
Location has a hawker market for local food within 5 mins walk.
Good manager Nora who is very attentive and helpful

Strategic location where we can enjoy both the beach and swimming pool facilities. It's not far from George town, easy access to most of the attraction in town.

Good location, value for money, breakfast is average, and staff not really welcome anyway overall when comparing with the price is good.

Upon check-in, it took approximately 30 minutes. The receptionist appeared to be new and lacked experience, indicating a need for training. Sahur was not provided buffet-style at the restaurant; instead, room service delivery was offered. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless and lacked variety. The redeeming quality was the scenic view of the sea from the hotel's front.

The room is nice and spacious, but the air conditioning isn't cold enough, so it's uncomfortable. hotel have beach side can enjoy sunset .

The hotel is strategically located between Batu feringgi and Georgetown.
Room is alright.
Breakfast needs improvement and there is limited parking space.
