Hotel in zona Koala House, Taipei

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was so spacious, especially for the price, and the location was amazing - lots of cool bars and shops nearby and a metro downstairs. The furnishings in the rooms were quite dated and in quite poor condition with damage to walls and bathroom facilities, but everything worked and was comfortable. The only disappoin**ent for me was ordering a room with windows to find that my windows were significantly smaller than other windowed rooms, only in the bathroom, and could not be opened. I was expecting the ability to get some fresh air with them open, but alas was unable to.

Room was nice and generally clean but coffee cups had drink stains on the cup lip. No amenities provided on the basis of sustainability, which is understandable, but only one small reusable glass bottle for drinking water in the room. Charging plugs and sockets were hidden behind the desk lamp. None at the bedside, which was a pity. Lighting control was also finicky and not easy to use. Gym equipment was interesting.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

very friendly counter people who didn't lose their temper who answered all your queries..clean rooms and beds, had a huge locker woh magnetic key pass to put in your luggages securely..clean large shared toilet. highly recommend for solo or fuss free travellers!

Considerato il prezzo di 2 letti e kinda spazioso è un buon lavoro, anche il suo solo pochi minuti a piedi alla scuola elementare di Mrt Zhongshan ci è anche un mercato notturno vicino, 7 undici e altri negozi, Ma se preferite un posto più vivace come ximending dun ka. Un buon hotel per soggiornare. È un hotel a 3 stelle con strutture che si può ottenere in un hotel a 4 stelle. Tutto è stato bello. I membri del personale sono amici. Payment process is burdensome. When i came, there's Filipino that have to go out to draw cash because cant accept card payment on that time. While mine, I have pre authorization payment and needed to tap the card but failed. I tried two type of cards also fail. Then I took all my other four cards and asked 'okay I have four cards here, if none of these cards didn't work, its your problem here'. Then they restart the payment machine but the Wise card that i used while booking can't used there, and I have to use my credit card which cost me more than the paid amount. Now it have been two weeks since check out and i still didn't get the refund to my Wise Card. Please find somewhere hotel that didn't have this pre authorization process thing. Its hassle and burdensome.
